I thought I had reviewed this place already. I have probably brought a handful of people to enjoy this place. A few friends and I was told of this all you can eat sushi place on Calaveras Boulevard closer to Highway 680. It's in a corner shopping center with Starbucks, a dim sum Chinese restaurant, Christie's donuts which is on the corner of Calaveras Boulevard and Park Victoria. First impression: It's clean and can certainly accommodate large parties as I have seen parties up to 20 people celebrating a birthday as well as tables and booths occupied by couples and small groups. It's a no nonsense ordering system that you have choices of regular menu or premium menu. Premium items are highlighted in red. The difference is only $5.00 so I suggest people get the premium menu so the entire menu is all offered. Honestly, I think I've been there about five times and right now, I think I have enjoyed 80% of the menu items right now. The staff are very swift and friendly. They even fill your water glasses constantly. I believe we can order three or four items at a time and I'm told at about 10 minute intervals. I remember a waitress said that they're not allowed to enter an order until 10 minutes have pashe'd, but that has never been a problem as by the time the first set of food arrives. you are enjoying the yummy plates/bowls as well the company of friends and/orfamily. Although it's all you can eat, I appreciate that the portions are not extremely large so you can order multiples and each time food comes out fresh, newly fried, newly baked, newly made or simply newly created. My favorites are the Age-dashintofu, salmon carpaccio, shrimp tempura, UnagI-Don, island hand roll, karage chicken, smoke salmon, veggie tempura, and many of the maki rolls. I have tasted and likely would not order the udon soup because it was extra salty. Also, I don't order steam rice as rice can be a stomach filler. (I'm ok with the rice from the rolls and unagi-Don mini bowls) However, the fried rice is pretty good, but have to add a few drops of soy sauce. My friends who loves seafood, love the grilled mackerel (saba shioyaki) baked mussels and fried softshell crab, as well as squid and mushroom mini salad and maki rolls such as Godzilla roll, double salmon roll, crunch roll, dynamite roll, Milpitas roll plus a dozen more. The simple, no nonsense dessert of mochi ice cream is the perfect ending. It's usually a choice between green tea Mochi ice cream scoop and mango Moch ice cream scoop. They also offer sake, Japanese beer, Japanese soda, regular soda, as well as iced tea, lemonade, Arnold Palmers, and probably more I have not mentioned. I do wish they offer seasonal or special items (not on the menu), like mini ramen bowls or mini curry rice bowls. if specials are offered, it can be an extra menu card or staff can mention the specials when they take your order. Btw the QR code on table doesn't work, but that's fine with me bc I enjoy the interaction, plus I don't want to flip from eating then grabbing my cell phone to scroll. So far so good, everyone I have brought here or recommended to this place is/are happy and very pleased. Can't wait to go back to Okawa soon. read more

My friends and I were craving sushi, so we decided to try Okawa Sushi for the first time. When we got there, it was not busy at all and we were seated right away. The restaurant was nice and open with good lighting over our tables. We started ordering a bunch of nigiri, soft shell crab, a couple sushi rolls, and some appetizers. The food came out relatively fast and I liked that we could continuously order more sushi through our phone. One thing I noticed was that they had a chef's choice sashimi option on the menu, but it was not available on the app, so you have to order that directly through the waiter. The waiters were attentive and we were able to flag them down when we had questions. Overall, I thought the fish was pretty fresh. Compared to some other newer all you can eat sushi spots, the rice portions were a bit larger, but I still enjoyed the meal. I just wish they had scallops on the menu. The food that I was able to order was delicious. But the service was terrible. We placed our order with the waitstaff initially, and it took us an hour (no exageration) to receive the majority of our food. I even got up to walk to the kitchen at the 45-minute mark and was told that the kitchen was "very busy". The restaurant wasn't even full, and we had had reservations, so they should have been prepared. Also, when we ordered directly via the app, the food came out quickly. I have a feeling that our initial orders never got put in. We were a large party, 10 people per table (2 tables), and the waitstaff kept bringing the food to the wrong tables. We would get food we didn't order and vice versa with the other table. Not sure where the disconnect was, because each table had their own QR code. If I decide to give them another chance (again, everything I ate was well-prepared and delicious), I would probably order my food directly from the app to ensure it actually makes it to the kitchen, and not have to wait an hour. read more

We had a great AYCE experience here. It's $40 per person for the premium option. The fish quality is great and the food comes out quickly. They feature actually high quality premium appetizers like soft shelled crab, hamachi collar, carpaccio. The fish to rice ratio is very good for the nigiri. Their handrolls are also a standout. The service is very good. I was shocked to see the restaurant so empty because it's a great value and good quality. The restaurant is very clean and there's tons of seating. It's rare to find a quality ayce sushi in the bay. I think this is one of the top ones I've been to in the area and would recommend. read more

Went again with co-worker few days ago. Food is still great, fish are still very fresh, but service not so much. I don't mean the servers are rude, but we ordered salmon kama, being waited after few rounds of ordering, asked the same server we are still waiting for this item, and was told they will follow up. Waited long enough for us to go back so we called out another person and ask to cancel that order, promptly the server told us there is no salmon Kama today! Both my co-worker and I was surprised then a bit upset after, if you don't have that today, why don't you let us know at the moment of ordering or when we ask about it? We were not quite happy about how the first server how they handle this situation, did they even check with the kitchen or just respond to us they are making it????? read more

Okawa has become a regular spot for us at this point. Still such a good value imo. Even if you get their premium menu, we most certainly always pay less than if we were to go toan a la carte sushi spot. Service is great and the place is clean and spacious. The food was amazing--the fish tasted fresh and there was just the right amount of rice. My favorite was the fried soft crab, especially since you could order it unlimited times. I was disappointed with the service while waiting. I added my group to the waitlist through Yelp/iPad, but when a family came in after us, the waitress didn't check the iPad and seated them ahead of several groups, including mine. read more

Was craving AYCE sushi and found this place online. My brother and I decided to try this place on weekday lunch ($28/person). We got the regular course and ordered a bunch of rolls. This tier does not include nigiri unfortunately :( My favorite was the double salmon roll. I really enjoyed all the rolls and found that the quality of the fish was pretty good, especially for the price. Parking was easy and service was very fast. Also, inside was clean, which I appreciated. Honestly, I had a good experience and can see myself coming back if I'm craving ayce. Better than Kenzo. Check it out! read more

Been here twice now. I think the first time, it was decent since it had just opened up and the fish seemed a bit fresher. Came here again recently and the quality is what you would think of a typical buffet. I think if you care more about quantity over quality, then you can definitely enjoy a meal here. We've only been here on a weeknight and the staff have been attentive in taking the orders, food coming out fairly quick and making sure your water glasses are refilled. There's plenty of tables and booths inside. We haven't had to wait when we walked in during a weeknight so I'm not quite sure how it would be during the weekends. Overall, if you're just looking for ayce sushi place to check out, it'll fill you up and worth checking out if you want quantity. read more

This place used to be "Ocean 9 Crab" not too long ago, and the restaurant space has changed businesses quite a few times prior. Now it's a sushi spot. My bf and I had dinner here on Sunday evening. We were seated right away just before 8:00pm, the place not too busy. We ordered a number of menu items a la carte including chicken gyoza, lion king roll, sashimi salad, spicy tuna handroll, hamachi kama, and several nigiri -- ebi (cooked prawn) unagi (eel), tai (red snapper), saba (mackerel). All of the dishes were tasty and fresh, but very small in size (so maybe the AYCE option is a better deal). Worth noting, the lion king roll was creamier than I'm used to, and the grilled yellowtail collar was on the salty side though I really enjoyed the flavor of this. Came here for dinner on a Monday evening with a couple of friends. There are so many tables available here, but probably only 4 tables with guests. Service here was good and the food came out pretty quickly. My friends and I ordered a lot of nigiri and a few appetizers. They have a good selection of rolls, but we didn't have a chance to try them this time. Quality of the food was probably comparable to sushi at an Asian buffet. I would have liked to see more nigiri or sashimi options. I think they also had some rice bowl options but we didn't get those either. I'd say 4 stars for the price. Another refresh at this spot. Now its ayce sushi. This is exactly like the vegas ayce sushi spots. Literally same menu and price as well. Did the 39.95 premium 1st round. Fried apps. Had the calamari, spider crab and hamachi kama. I like the spider crab. The calamari was ok, it doesn't stick to the breading as one bite pulls out the whole calamari. The hamachi kama is good but too much work. Had to dig for the meat. Next time. I would just go with the spider crab. Skip the other two. Remember this is ayce. There is fix amount of space in your tummv... 2nd round salmon maguro and tai nigiri. Very good. The fish was thicker than your ayce. Not as thick as regular sushi spots. And fried oysters. Which was ok 3rd round salmon carpaccio tuna pepper and albacore pepper. I would just go for the salmon and avocado carpaccio. Skip the other 2. 4th round. Salmon maguro and hamachi nigiri. I really like the nigiri. If I skip those others would have gone another round of nigiri. Ring ring. Tko. Got some green tea ice cream and sesame balls. Total with large Sapporo was 50 + tax + 10cash tip. Around 64 I really hope this spot survives. I see alot more peeps here on weekends. No wait for my party of 4 on a Tuesday evening. Only a few other parties were dining there throughout our meal. Pretty spacious inside with good amount of seating. We all opted for the premium course which was $39.95 each, excluding tax and tip. For appetizers, we got soft shell crab, baked mussels, hamachi kama, agedashi tofu, and tempura (shrimp and mixed). Favorites were the baked mussels and hamachi kama. We were excited for the items under "signature dish" but the albacore, seared tuna, and salmon carpaccio were all just average and super tiny pieces. Miso soup and mochi ice cream were not great. Overall I think sticking with the nigiri was the move for us. We had salmon, tuna, white tuna, yellowtail, and butter fish nigiri. My favorites were the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail nigiri. The fish on the nigiri varied each round though, which I feel like isn't uncommon for AYCE spots. But the inconsistency was definitely noticed. Hand rolls were pretty good. I liked the Okawa handroll more than the island handroll. Personally wasn't the biggest fan of the smoky salmon in the island handroll. For rolls, we got the Okawa, double salmon, bay bridge, and vacation. Vacation roll was my favorite of the 4. Again, I'd probably stick with just the nigiri personally since none of the rolls particularly stood out. Service was good and food came out quicker than expected. I was soooo pleasantly surprised by how good Okawa was. I went in expecting typical ayce sushi quality (icy fish, dry rice, too much rice, etc.) but the quality was incredible that I could've thought it was some budget omakase. Highlights were the nigiri: hamachi, salmon, and tuna. The escolar is usually a favorite at ayce sushi but it was just a tad fishy. Curious to try their ika and mackerel next time. Hamachi kama was delicious. Everything else - rolls, sides, etc. were solid, except miso soup was a little salty and my friends said the mochi ice cream wasn't good. I'd pass on the carpaccio dishes. Waitstaff was excellent! Quick at taking our orders and delivering. Bathrooms were a little smelly though I can't lie. My table paid about $50 per person for the premium dinner after tax and tip. When I'm in Nevada, I see all you can eat sushi all over the place, in fact most sushi places are all all you can eat. So, when I saw this Okawa Sushi offered AYCE, it got my interest. I was with some of my crew and we decided to go here for dinner. It's easy to get to, just get off the 680 at East Calavaras go east and make the first left and then the next left into the shopping center. The sushi place is in the rear all the way in. We got seated easy. I see they have 2 options for dinner, the better on for $40 a person includes everything, even the premium cuts, but just one serving per person, like on the belly cuts. $40 a head, is more than all you can eat is in Nevada, but I guess it's the Bay Area, so prices are what they are. Drink order is taken and we just start ordering the usual stuff we like. Mostly nigiri and a few rolls. The fish quality was decent and not too much rice like some places do. We definitely got our moneys worth. I'd come back, service was good and friendly and answered all our questions. read more

Yay! There's a new AYCE sushi spot and closer to home! I haven't had AYCE sushi in a long time because there's not a lot of good places nearby. We had to try this though since it was so close. I'll be honest, I saw other photos and reviews and had my hopes really low. I was expecting to give it a 3/5. They performed better than I expected so I'll give it a 4/5. For $40 for AYCE it's a pretty solid choice. I wouldn't come for anything other than premium menu because I need nigiri, hamachi kama, calamari, and baked mussels, which are all premium menu items. Lunch price for premium is only $5 cheaper so I don't feel the need to try to catch this place during lunch time. Service: we were kind of one of the first ones there so the staff was quite attentive to us. Water refill towards the end was not that great though. The food came out pretty quick, they did miss a couple orders but it wasn't that bad. Signature dishes: we only tried the Pepper Albacore, Pepper Seared Tuna, and Salmon Carpaccio. As always, salmon carpaccio was a winner. My next favorite was the Pepper Albacore. I didn't really enjoy the Pepper seared tuna because the texture was a little rubbery as well. Unfortunately you can only order 1 of each dish. We passed on the other two "bombs" because they were jalapeno bombs. It's worth trying once, I probably would only get the albacore and salmon next time. Also, the slices were soooo thin and you get 5 pieces. Nothing very "signature" about it. We mostly ate the nigiri's to try to make the most of our $40. the slices are thin but the fish to rice ratio is pretty good, the rice portion isn't too big. My favorite was the maguro, hamachi, and salmon. Not very consistent though. We got salmon 2 different rounds and the first round it tasted good but was very light in color, the 2nd round it was sooo much brighter and was expecting it to be amazing but it was rubbery. I couldn't eat more than a few because the texture was really offputting lol The tuna was really good though but the last round I noticed it tasted a bit fishy. The sushi rolls were also pretty good. We got the Vacation, Double Salmon, Bay Bridge, and Okawa rolls. The Bay Bridge and Okawa was confusing because it looked so similar to each other and very different from the photos. My favorites were Vacation and Okawa rolls. The Vacation was on the sweeter side because of the unagi sauce. We also had the hamachi kama, a few orders of baked mussels, agedashi tofu, shrimp tempura and tempura mix, and hand rolls. Pretty good mix of appetizers. The hamachi kama and tofu were good but their sauces were really good. The mussels were good the first round again and just decent for the last 2. The menu advertised real crab on their hand rolls but... I'm not sure if they were real crab? They were like tacos rather than the usual handrolls I was expecting. Kinda like they used those seaweed snacks straight out the packaging and put the fillings in. Dessert: Each person can get their own mochi ice cream and sesame ball. PASS ON BOTH. I wish they just had the usual ice cream cooler or soft serve machine. I'm sorry but the mochi ice cream was lukewarm, after I cut into it it deflated because it was melted. Are these kept in the freezer or laid out to thaw before serving? I'm giving this a 4/5 to start, for AYCE and $40, you can't really expect TOO much. Not itching to make plans to come again, but if I have the AYCE sushi craving this is the first place I will go. I hope the next time they come back they are more consistent but I do fear if I go on a busy night it won't be as good of an experience. read more

Came here for lunch to celebrate Fiancés birthday with family. Servers are quick and friendly. We started off with their sashimi salad, soft shell crab, and signature plates ( salmon carpaccio, okawa bomb, Jalepeno bomb, pepper albacore, and pepper seared tuna). All were pretty good and fresh. The Hamachi Kama and Saba Shioyaki were tender and flavorful. All nigiri and rolls were also good. Wish they increased the amount for sashimi and signature dishes though. I feel like the restriction made it a bit disappointing. 1 order per table and 3pc sashimi per person is stingy. Should increase to maybe like 2-3. read more

I went on a Friday for lunch. It wasn't too crowded and there's hella parking. It was nice and cool inside and the restaurant has a cool theme. Average sushi, I wouldn't return. I ordered takeout and it was ready when I came to pick it up. I got 3 rolls and a tempura appetizer. The tempura is an absolute joke for the price. It was cold and the portions were so skimpy, literally like 3-4 pieces of tempura for $10. The 3 rolls were dragon, okawa, and salmon lover. Nothing memorable but not bad either. My family and I came by to Okawa Sushi to try out the new AYCE sushi spot and it did not disappoint!! We decided to stop by for dinner. Our party of 3 arrived and was immediately seated. I appreciate the staff offering a spacious booth but I requested for an actual table due to better back support for my child. Menus and waters came out from a separate employee, almost immediately. When I say the staff here works as a team unit- I MEAN IT!! Here, Okawa offers 2 different tiers of dining: PREMIUM [$40] & REGULAR [$35]. For 5 extra bucks, I say do that little bit of splurging and indulge completely with all items on the menu. Opting to go with the regular tier allows you access to black labeled items & the sushi roll list. With my love for nigiri, choosing premium was a no-brainer. The staff here is prompt! Before I could even take a look at the menu, they were already attempting to take the order for the first round. I like that there aren't any delays or lagging. The few items that were complete regrets were the crunch roll [waaay too creamy and overwhelming with the amount of cream cheese provided] & the vegetable udon [this stuff tasted VEGAN. I have nothing against vegan foods but the broth in itself tasted like water which in turn made the entire bowl taste like nothing. I didn't anticipate the vegetable udon to be so literal]. Above all, THE STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! They are patient, attentive, and so very respectful. One female server in particular lightweight bowed after dropping off each order- doing this to each and every table she served. I was literally FLOORED by her gesture. 5/5 stars. I like the teamwork style work environment they have going on here. Everyone works as one solid unit and isn't all about themselves. The staff is very open and eager to assist in whatever you may need. Food isn't too bad either. This is more like a 3.5 but I am rounding down for now due to some things I would like to see added as options on their menu. I had read some reviews of the slow service so actually was a bit skeptical coming, but my friends and I decided to go for an early dinner at 5pm on Wednesday. We were greeted enthusiastically and seated quickly. The restaurant is big and not that busy at the time. We ended up leaving a little after 7 and were able to flag servers down quickly whenever we needed to. However, it did definitely start to get busy with louder music and conversation levels by around 6. Onto the food...we decided to do the premium for dinner and opted to order all their signature dishes. This was not a great move as the only one I really enjoyed was the salmon carpaccio and some of the okawa bomb (it was too creamy). The other carpaccio just didn't do it for us. From the appetizers we ultimately had the soft shell crab, kaki fry, hamachi kama, and edamame. My friends seemed to like the crab, and I enjoyed the hamachi kama although it was a tad bland to me (i didn't use the sauce it came with but was looking for more of a pepper taste). From the salads we had the sashimi salad and the octopus salad. The octopus was really enjoyed and we got extra orders of that. Onto the nigiri and hand rolls which are the highlight of the menu and in my opinion the main reason to do the premium course instead of the regular course. I really enjoyed the salmon, hamachi, and ika nigiri. The fish slices were thick and the rice portion small which was perfect. I opted for the hamachi sashimi towards the end of the night when my stomach was almost full to avoid the rice. We also really enjoyed the handrolls and felt like they didn't put that much rice in those. My top 2 are the oakawa and the island. Of the rolls themselves we were fine with the double salmon, 49er, and vacation rolls. Some food suggestions of things we were looking forward to maybe having but are not on their menu--scallops or ikura. Hopefully this is something they can bring onto the menu later on. I think I would try to come on a weekday for lunch when I get the day off and see how things are then (and also save a few dollars). read more

Saw it's a new establishment that took over the old hotpot / pancake place. I have brought my frequent and experienced sushi eaters teens to try this out. The place is clean and neat. Initial reaction after we sat was, you are forced to pick premium price unless you are there to chow down rice. Not a good idea to set two prices for the premium menu is just mediocre compared to other sushi ayce places. People won't mind to pay but the food served must be at par. Service was mixed, a few waiters / waitresses tried extra hard, while some told us they are not allowed to take order, brought water without ice, fries with no salted, then 10 mins later placed a jar of salt on the table. Some Katsu has sauce all over it and some have sauce on the side. Signature dishes were so so. Sushi size varies, first order was good then it turned into goldfish guppies size in round 2 then round 3 got even smaller. Obviously owner is holding back at soft opening, either feed your customers or fine tune your price if you want them to return. read more

The food was great. I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of their sushi especially for the cost. The salmon and butter fish were pretty solid. I would definitely recommend going with the premium option over the non premium if possible. The service not so much. Maybe the services are new but they definitely got to work on that. Arrived for dinner at 6pm on a Wednesday with no wait for a party of 6. We went with the AYCE premium (39.95) to have the nigiri and signature dishes (carpaccio). The fish was delicious but the rice ratio was on the higher end for hand rolls and nigiri. There is a limit on the sashimi, 1 order (3 piece) for each person. The rolls for the AYCE menu are made much smaller than when buying a la carte. We thought portion sizes were great for the rolls, 6 pieces each so we tried many of them. Our favorites were the salmon and hamachi kamas for apps! The restaurant is large but once the tables started to fill up, it got loud in there. Pretty good AYCE spot. read more

Came in for a work Xmas party and the service was not too bad and we got our sushi at reasonable times considering 10+ people. So this review will have a bit favor-bias as I did not pay. The quality of the food is good but nothing special, considering the AYCE factor. The nigiri and rolls were all I ate and were nicely made and tasted yummy. However, the service should be a bit more organized as we did not know which person order which things; so they were dishing out our orders but almost none of us remembered what we got. Since we were "separated" into 3 tables, it should be at least a bit easier to figure out which table got what. Some dishes came in late but it was more disappointing having to be served a dish after we were done so it became even more confusing what was going on. But it's more or less forgiving given that we were a large party and we probably over ordered. I would highly consider the reviews for parties of 2-6 rather than this one. But overall, it wasn't too bad but the service and communication needs to be heavily worked on. read more

Came here again with a group of 5 friends and the girl waitress is RUDE. She was clearing some of our dishes that we finished and I had a bowl of edamame next to me. She proceeds to condescendingly say "you have to finish that or else you'll be charged leftover food." MIND YOU we are only 15 minutes into the meal and I'm clearly still working on it... like what is with the passive aggressiveness? She continued to make the same remarks throughout the meal. This place doesn't have sashimi just by itself, instead they do sashimi salads. Most restaurants I go to, it's not necessary to finish the salad, most of it is for decoration. My friend does not eat rice, so nigiri is out of the question. The fish quality also wasn't the greatest this day compared to previous days. Then for dessert there was no more mochi ice cream, even though they kept advertising that they have it? Not sure I'd come here again! read more

Hmm... doing an update as of now 11/29/2025 after finishing my BF's dinner for just us two. Less crowded and we had the same server. But the server was much kinder this time. Maybe last time we did catch him on a bad day. He was super nice and took care of us well. I will say that this time around, I ordered Nigiri only for myself but I assume that the server thought to double the order for my BF and I, and the result, I could not finish my entire meal. A bit upsetting on my part, but I know how to clarify for next time. We had slight differences in our order vs last time, where I will recommend the Jalapeño Bomb with the spicy tuna vs the crab. It wasn't bad at all. We tried the fried oysters and soft shell crab this time... idk, I'm not a fan of those two items. Also the veggie udon wasn't as flavorful as I wanted but it was good to have a hot soup for dinner. Haha. Doing a 5/5 for the mochi ice cream and sesame balls. Omg too good. read more

The food was delicious and fresh. They were very generous portion wise. The fish and rice ratio was perfect. The service was great. They make sure that you are not waiting. My only complaint is that they don't have my ice flavor, then they recommended a different flavor and I said yes but they served a different flavor. It is a good thing I like Lychee, so it was ok. The place is clean and spacious , the bathroom is clean and it smelled nice. I ll recommend you check it out. read more

Okawa Sushi has been in its soft opening phase for a while now, and it's already showing strong potential. The ambience is lively and inviting -- we arrived around 6 p.m. on a Friday to a mostly empty dining room, but by 6:30 the place was packed with conversation, laughter, and the energy of a full house. The food was excellent across the board. Portions run a bit small, but with an all-you-can-eat format, that's easy to work around. The fish was fresh and well-prepared -- never slimy or overly fishy -- and the hamachi Kama was a highlight, cooked beautifully with a clean, rich flavor. Where Okawa fell short, unfortunately, was in the service. We came as a larger party of 13, but the wait times between orders were significant -- nearly 30 minutes for our second round -- and several items had to be requested multiple times before they arrived. It took four separate attempts to get a simple Sprite for one of the kids. Even after asking bussers to send someone over, the cycle would repeat until we eventually had to walk to the front to place additional orders. Hopefully, these service issues are just growing pains from the soft opening, because the food and atmosphere have real promise. Once the staff finds their rhythm, Okawa Sushi has all the makings of a standout all-you-can-eat sushi destination in Milpitas. read more

Had a craving for sushi and found this place on yelp. I think they opened a few months ago. We came earlier in the week. It was a bank holiday so was hoping they would still charge us weekday prices. But they were in the know and we paid the weekend prices ($35 for regular menu and $40 for the premium menu). It's the same menu for the weekend and weekdays so come on a weekday, if you can. It's more worth it. Anyways the place is huge. I don't remember what was here before - maybe a buffet? There were two wait staff and two guys in the back making the sushi in the back. By the time we left, there were 10-15 tables, maybe only a third of the place full and the two wait staff were running around. So our final remaining dishes took a bit to come out and the bill and paying also. I hope they have enough wait staff when they are super busy. They did the best they could but yeah more people are needed. As for the foods, I would say stick to the rolls and sushi, if you can. My fav was the double salmon roll. I just want fresh fish and this was the roll for me. All the other specialty rolls had some kind of shrimp tempura or crab meat or other stuff that wasn't just raw fish. I also really like both hand rolls I got - the Island hand roll or the Okawa hand roll. The smoky salmon in the island handroll was also super tasty, We also tried the Okawa, titanic, tiger, hot night, and bay bridge specialty rolls. I was not impressed with the appetizers for the most part. You can't mess up miso soup - so it was good. Edamame had no flavor. The tofu also had little flavor but was freshly fried and at least had the dipping sauce. Tempura was also freshly fried but also meh. Also though the menu says mochi ice cream, it was just a scoop of ice cream. We got matcha and vanilla and it was pretty standard. We were stuffed in the end. We ended up with 7 specialty rolls, 2 hand rolls, miso soup, tofu app, edamame, tempura mix, and 2 ice cream desserts, between the two of us. With tax and tip, I t was really like $45 per person and we got our money's worth at least. I would bring more people next time so we could try more things. read more

One of the best AYCE sushi in the area. They have lots of selections to chose from. I really enjoyed their agedashi tofu and chicken teriyaki. My favorite rolls were their 49er and Tiger roll but all the rolls I ordered were very good. The rolls were all fresh and tasted really good. I liked that they weren't packed with a lot of rice either. The service is pretty fast. However did notice that some side dishes or appetizers like the chicken teriyaki takes a bit of time to come out where they might forget it so just be aware of what you order.
