    Gold tier

Delicious AYCE Wagyu and sushi place! There's three tiers of meat you can choose from. Ordering is all online using a QR code (10 items every 3 minutes), super easy to keep track of because each other is time stamped! There's a salad bar with some assorted fruits and jello as well. The drinks vary between $2.50-$5 but the soft drinks are unlimited refills! Cute little spot in barber lane but parking can get busy! We saw a lot of larger parties as well as parties of 2-3. You can reserve a table ahead of time using yelp if you want!

    Outside. Plenty of parking.

Not welcome host but very friendly servers and kitchen food runners. Drinks taste great with great deal 2 for $20. Food selection is good for acye lunch. Average quality of meat not too good but also not too bad. Sashimi also ok. Easy to order from our phone. Clean table but the floor is bit slippery. Nice ambiance, great big TV screens that play sports. Restrooms are very clean. I minus 1 star because the salad bar, tongs and sauce bottles are sticky/dirty. Overall, i think this place is good for someone likes to eat a bit of everything. Nothing special or stand out dish but all are average good. For only $25 ayce lunch, i think the food/price point is fair.

Came here with a party of 10. We had 3 grills, which I liked for our bigger size of a party. Ordering on the menu was easy as you do it through your phone and can order every 3 mins. The service was great. They would come out with our food fairly quickly and checked on us. I did had to ask a couple of times for water refill though. But not terrible. On to the food, I love how they had sashimi, rolls, apps, and sides. We got the silver which was australian wagyu. The actual meat was okay. Some seemed a bit too tough and not as tender as I wanted. Some were good, but some were meh. I did really like the black garlic ramen! Also the shrimp is already peeled. Wow. So good.

I came here for the ayce lunch special. They have several options of beef, some chicken, shrimp, pork, sides, sushi rolls, and sashimi to choose from. I liked the Australian wagyu plate, Australian wagyu steak and the Australian Mizuki Sasa. The Mizuki Sasa was the most tender meat from the selection. I quite like the sushi rolls and I loved the Salmon Jalapeño and Salmon Sunomono. They have a self serve bar with kimchi, seaweed, kimchi cucumber, bean sprouts, salad, fruit and a dessert. I think the food wasn't bad for $25. The server was kind and patient. Overall, it was a good experience.

Came here with my friend for Saturday lunch, we arrived at 11:30 when they first opened so we were able to be seated almost immediately. This was my first time, but my friend had been here before so she knew what to do. The menu is again QR code style and you order directly on your phone. As it was AYCE, they do limit 90 minutes and each time we order we could only select 6-8 items (I cannot remember the exact number), and must wait for a few minutes before we can add more. There is a salad bar with fruit and dessert. My friend likes sashimi so she ordered a number of marinated salmon and other sort of raw fish. I was there for the mean so i added some beef. The meat was VERY THINLY sliced, so it cooked very quickly. But as it was very thin, I really could not really enjoy the texture, I felt like I was just eating meat flavored paper... They were so thin I cannot tell if they are really wagyu... but my other experience of wagyu in Asia was that they actually melt in my mouth, but here I still had to chew, despite how thin they were sliced. for that it was only 3 star for me. The service was decent as it was AYCE. The place was hugh and noisy, and by the time we left it was 2/3 packed. There was a hugh bar but since we did not order any mixed drink, not sure how good they are. I was full, but will likely not come back unless there is a strong reason for it.

Good: decently priced AYCE for everything it came with, but will definitely go with the Gold option instead of Premium if I do ever come back Bad: wasn't particularly impressed with the Wagyu Service was prompt and attentive, plates were cleared by anyone who saw an empty plate. Didn't take a million years to get the next round of food either. They limit 10 items per round which is reasonable, just make sure to order once you're half way done to keep the flow. I didn't leave smelling like KBBQ, or at least not as bad as I expected to smell. I know it's not KBBQ but still lol

Super duper affordable AYCE Japanese bbq right in the biggest foodie plaza of Milpitas, so glad to have got a table upon signing up on their waitlist relatively within ETA! The wagyu quality ( especially the bulgolgi style wagyu wow!!) super tender, delicious and fresh. You'll be prompted to order your rounds on a device and EVERYTHING comes out super fast, I swear their staff is in a run club or something. Their sushi sides are also pretty decent too for AYCE, I only wish that the sashimis didn't come with salad everytime because I really just wanted the fish haha. Super high quality almost on par with one of my fave AYCE sushi places in SF!!! Shout out Angeline (I think that's the spelling?) for amazing attentive, quick service!

This was a pretty standard set up for AYCE bbq. We came on a Friday for lunch time to try the $26 per person menu. We didn't have any issues with waiting as we were seated right away. The servers explained that we'd scan the QR code and then can order 10 dishes every 3 mins. The ordering system was pretty easy to use and I liked that it was more efficient to input your order. There is a salad bar in the corner with salad and different dressings, edamame, spicy pickled cucumbers, pickled radish, bean sprouts, and kimchi. The spicy pickled cucumbers and kimchi were mild and not very spicy. Some of the tasted like they were a bit old and possibly not the freshest. The bbq food was alright. I liked the thinly sliced wagyu. I feel like the bulgogi style chicken was pretty delicious. There were other veggies like onion, mushroom, zucchini. They forgot to bring out the steam rice to us and we eventually didn't want it bc we had so much food already. There was the wagyu fried rice and that was very buttery and delicious. I think the rolls are actually what's the best here. We enjoyed the California rolls, and fried California roll, and the ocean roll. The chicken karage, miso soup, and thicker wagyu meat are okay, I would probably skip those. The dessert was limited in that there was like mango and berry jellos, mini cakes, and fruit like oranges and melon. Overall it was a good amount of food for an affordable price. Our server was friendly and attentive.

This was my, and my friend's, first time here. Our server was extremely attentive and walked us through everything. The dishes came out quickly and the sushi was fresh and tasty. We got the lowest tier, which came out to about $80 for 2 people, which I feel is more than fair for what you get. One disappointment was that online, the site says lunch ends at 4pm. We arrived at 3:30pm and were informed that you need to be seated by 3pm in order to qualify for the lunch special. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're trying to go for the lunch special.

Thank you to our female server of and night. Name listed on the receipt was Jingchao C.- if this was our server, know that she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I am 100% convinced that the entire staffing and management of Wagyu Grill AYCE is top tier!! Staff is kind, helpful, prompt, friendly, + most importantly, CONSISTENT! My toddler isn't much of a meat eater but she loves a good fire-y show as well as sushi. This makes Wagyu Grill AYCE to be a good and entertaining night for us all. Extra kudos to Jingchao for being so attentive in turning our grill flames up and down accordingly. The safety of my daughter was a primary concern of hers so I didn't bat an eye at her lowering the temp. Babygirl was a little disappointed due to the smaller show of the "dancing flames" but she survived. Another 5/5 star visit from the staff and the food is impeccable as usual. This place comes highly recommended to avid meat eaters and those who like things extra saucy [our fam literally drowns everything in their 3 sauces]. Gold and Premium is typically how we roll but I honestly wouldn't mind giving Silver a try, the options look good and you save yourself some coinZ!! Great for all patrons at all price points.

    Fiona T.

Don't bother with their premium tier. It's not worth it. The meat quality wasn't good. For how much you're paying. I usually love eating meat at AYCE places but I found myself liking the sushi rolls more. The kitchen was quick for meats but slow for things like rice, miso soup. We got duplicates of some orders, sometimes 20 minutes after the original order came. The staff are incredibly hard working a dirty plate would get picked up pretty quickly. The staff do a great job helping out and making sure you're taken care of.

    Jomar A.

Sorry for the only pic I have is the sides bar. This corner building this place is located in is cursed and I'm glad it finally became a place that people actually go to. They have different level tiers for their meats/sushi but the quality of the meats is really good in my opinion. I love that it's both bbq and sushi and the sushi is better than most actual sushi spots. The service is really fast, I rarely saw my server though and was waiting for water and stuff for a bit. They have deals like all you can drink beer which is fun for parties. The plaza that it is in can get extremely busy on weekends so plan ahead!

    Jonathan B.

It took a while to get set up because I came in a big party but the service was very good. I got the lunch menu (~$32 with 18% gratuity fee and tax) and the meat quality was good for the price. My favorite cuts were the bulgogi and the top round or something like that. Their appetizers are also great, with my favorites being the takoyaki, miso soup, and the karaage. All in all, everything went very well and this is an affordable ayce for the quality you get.

Same quality but Bigger portions and better dashi, for about the same price? Sign me up. My girlfriend and I skated the potato salad appetizer - a delicious DIY experience that let you control the texture of your potato salad (though I feel I overmixed), and two take bowls which were MASSIVE - easily could have shared. The seafood was fresh, the portions generous, and maybe it's because I have a more Americanized palate, but the mixed seafood dashi was richer and paired much better than a mild seafood chazuke. Plus it came with shiso leaves and tempura crunchies so it was really no comparison. Overall this was a delicious meal that left me extremely full, unlike other seafood bowls that leave you just a little too hungry. Given the tastiness of their dashi, I'll def be back to try their udon. Also, as an added bonus, my dogs love the little dashi fish topper on their food they sell separately at the front. The plaza is also tiny so parking may be a bit tough. I ordered an extra large Milpitas roll, Lemondrop, and Orgasmic. Food came about 5-10min after we ordered, which was surprisingly quick given the number of takeout orders and customers. The raw fish tastes very fresh, and they do not skimp on the portions! The star of the show was the Milpitas roll, but I feel like you cannot go wrong with most of their sushi roll menu items. This is one of the few establishments that give me pre-Covid vibes - large portions, fair prices, quick service, and decor that's a little outdates but gets the job done. He's lived in Japan, had it there, was forced to eat it here, and were forced to eat the Onigilly onigiri and he actually says that it's not bad and pretty good which is a super rare occurrence. Everything else was sadly impossible to consume later on. LOVED the spicy salmon poke onigiri and my boyfriend did too. Had a good kick and is everything you'd want out of a regular poke bowl but in a smaller portion. Good stuff. I really liked the snow crab too, not too fish and went great with the tangy and creamy lemon aioli. Rich, indulgent taste. Purple yam fries were a nice treat to snack on and wasn't too dry or oily.
