Food: The BBQ selection was good overall, and there was also a good variety of sushi to choose from. The kalbi was cut quite thick, so I would have preferred thinner slices for easier grilling and eating. The shrimp, pork jowl, and squid were all enjoyable. The fried dishes including yam tempura, takoyaki, golden fried buns, seafood pancake, and fries all came out hot and freshly prepared. The only disappointment was the chicken wings, which were a bit too salty for my taste. The white rice was good, and the beef bone soup was particularly impressive for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The tonkotsu udon was decent but nothing particularly memorable. Service: Excellent and attentive service. Our server was very prompt and checked back frequently to take additional orders, making sure we had everything we needed. Ambience: Comfortable atmosphere with private booth seating, which made the dining experience more enjoyable. The only downside was the music, which was consistently too loud throughout our meal and made conversation a little difficult. Overall: A good all-you-can-eat BBQ experience with a nice variety of meats, sushi, and freshly prepared fried dishes. The attentive service and comfortable booth seating were definite highlights. Lowering the music volume would make the dining experience even better.

The restaurant gets significantly carried by how nice and aesthetically pleasing it comes across as, but the food itself is not great. The meats are ok, the sushi from the counter is worse. Very frozen, not fresh tasting, not cured properly, just weird flavors overall. These things may look picture perfect, but boy did they not taste great, especially the price you're paying. The ventilation is decent, you didn't smell as bad as some other bbq places might leave you. It's a very nice swanky place, especially how it was formerly a Red Lobster location for over 20 years.

The hottest new kbbq + sushi combo on the block. Beautiful interior. My boyfriend insisted on taking me here because they portion the sushi pieces into small plates, and he was right--I enjoyed the variety and presentation of sashimi, nigiri, and rolls. However, I do feel like the quality of fish used could have been higher. I do think the quality of meat was very decent. We ordered an assortment of cuts...tbh I don't remember much of which was which, but the steak was definitely juicy. Standouts to me were actually the banchan (pink pickled radish, cucumber kimchi, sesame salad) and the fresh fruit. I think I must have eaten at least 2-3 Persian cucumbers worth of that cucumber kimchi...

Our first experience at Sea Wagyu was great! Service was quick, the meats and appetizers came out at a good pace, and there was plenty of sushi available. We also loved how the ventilation system could be positioned directly over the grill, so we didn't leave smelling completely like BBQ lol. Our second visit was a little off compared to the first. We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was pretty empty, but we still waited around 30 minutes to be seated. We ended up getting the same server from our first visit (I unfortunately forgot her name!), and she was great once again. She let us know that we would need to order our sushi directly through her since the sushi bar, where we picked it up during our first visit, was empty that night. The food also came out a bit slower this time, and there were a few items we had to remind our server about so she could check with the kitchen and grab them for us. The meats were okay, but the quality seemed a little different from our first visit. Some of the cuts just weren't as good, so maybe we happened to come on an off night. Overall, we'd give our server 5 stars because she was friendly, attentive, and did her best to take care of us both times! For the restaurant overall, we'd give it 4 stars. Our first experience was definitely better, but we'd still be willing to come back and give it another try.

Chicken wings. Skip. Tasted salty.

This is the new hyped AYCE KBBQ and sushi spot! There's a long wait on the weekends, but the weekday wait isn't too bad. Both times I've been here, the service has been great. The waiters and waitresses check on you regularly, bring the food out quickly, but never make you feel rushed. As for the variety, I love that they offer both seafood and meat options! Their sushi is supposed to be fresh, and the quality of the meat is pretty good. It's a very similar concept to Chubby Cattle. I tried the highest tier, which is about $100/person, and I think it's worth it. They give you a limited amount of wagyu with a tiny dollop of caviar, and honestly, I could eat a dozen of those. The lobsters were both overcooked, though. I wish they would cook them for you instead. The clams, on the other hand, were delicious and fresh, especially with the green sauce. Their abalone was also soft and tender, and both times I ended up eating several pieces because my party didn't know how to eat them . The quality of the meat is pretty on par with Chubby Cattle. They have some Australian wagyu, rather than true AYCE Japanese wagyu, but I think the sushi and overall variety make up for it. I'll definitely be back and would bring people here for special events. Just remember to make reservations because this place gets packed! It's also very clean and modern, and I love that you don't walk out smelling like KBBQ after cooking all the meat.

We came here on a weekday night and had a great time. There was still a 40 minute wait on a week night so make sure to join the waitlist. The quality of the meat was fantastic even with the cheapest menu option. The meat is ordered on an QR code so no need to flag down and wait for a waiter. Sushi is self serve and was fresh because it was constantly being replaced. I highly recommend and would come back.

Overall quality of meat was solid, especially the beef tongue. Sashimi quality was also nice and fresh with perfect cold temperature due to small chunks of added ice on each mini plate. Sauce bar had a lot of different options; my personal favorite was the spicy thai one. I also loved their golden buns with the condensed milk. Their soup dishes lacked salt and nigiri rice needed more vinegar in my opinion. We waited over 30 minutes past our original reservation. A lot of the workers were scrambling due to how busy it was and it seemed like they haven't figured out a good system quite yet (we literally saw an empty table not be filled for 15+ mins). I'd only come back if there wasn't a wait time. The interior had an interesting layout where there's a fairly large waiting area, while the buffet section is actually smaller than anticipated.

Finally got to try this place after passing by a few times when the wait time was insanely long. I went on a Friday evening right when they opened at 5 PM, so there was no wait and it wasn't too busy. The place was clean, from the food bar to the sauce area. They also had a lot of sauce options, which felt more unique compared to other AYCE spots. As for the meat quality, I'd say it was just okay--not great, but not bad either. One downside was that our grill got pretty burnt, and even though it wasn't super busy, the server didn't really notice or offer to change it, so we ended up cooking on the same grill. The variety and sauce selection were definitely a plus, but the service and meat quality could use some improvement.

Had such a great experience thanks to Kaylie and Khoi! We got the diamond tier and honestly could not go wrong that option, it's a lot of food. The additional wagyu was really good but how small the caviar serving was actually disappointing. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but maybe don't put a whole can on the menu cause it can be misleading. overall had a great time and amazing food. the ambiance was clean, spacious and great for friends, date, and family! Our service was spectacular, starting off kaylie took care of us right away and cooked all the food to our liking. after Khoi did great serving us as well and placing our orders. Definitely going back and telling my friends to go.

Another new AYCE BBQ spot in the Bay yayyy! Me and my girls came about 15 mins after they opened and omg there was already a long line of people waiting to put their name on the waitlist. Definitely a new hot spot! First, the good stuff: this place is huge, clean, and decorated really nicely. They have a pretty waiting area with self-serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and their sushi/sashimi/salad bar was impressive and constantly getting refilled. Each table also has a retractable KBBQ hood, so there's not much smoke sticking to your clothes and hair. Price is pretty reasonable depending on which tier you pick, and they have a good variety of food and drinks. Staff was also really friendly and welcoming. The only thing I'm kinda ehhh about is that the portions are pretty small, but since it's AYCE you can always order more rounds. Some items also felt more like Shabu Shabu/hotpot ingredients than BBQ to me, like sea snails, quail eggs, tofu fish balls, rice cakes, etc. Their logo literally has Shabu Shabu in it too, so idk why they don't offer it here hmmm. Food quality was fresh though, and I think seafood lovers would probably enjoy this place more than me. I'm a meat lover, but somehow I ended up liking the appetizers and side dishes more than the actual BBQ lol. The soups, noodles, crepe, radish kimchi, and mini sushi/sashimi were all really yummy. For my group, Silver Tier was more than enough. If you're really into seafood, I'd probably go for Gold or Diamond. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely worth checking out. I'll probably come back with my family sometime and try a higher tier!

Samantha G.

We got a reservation here for a group of 6. Don't bother with the seafood tower if you want to eat the other food because at a certain point we were tired of eating fish and wanted to eat other stuff. There's a good variety on the menu. The sushi is like 1-2 pieces each on a plate so it's kind of hard to get a bunch at once because they don't have trays so you just have to keep going back and forth. The grill was also a little slow to cook/uneven cooking. One of the servers helped us with a torch. If I had to wait long it's not worth going back to so definitely get a reservation.

Lesly M.

Got the silver set which had enough choices for us. Meats and sauces were ok. Sides and sushi were pretty good. Fruits were fresh and sweet. Place gets pretty packed. Our server Rachel was super attentive, helpful and had such great attitude. Definitely recommend her!

Seafood tower... everything was fresh and delicious!

Visited Sea Wagyu House for a birthday celebration. It was super easy to book a reservation and they have many private or semi private spaces for any size party. While you are waiting for your table to be prepared or full party to arrive they offer soju or melon soda for those waiting in the lobby-kids love this! (Melon soda... not the soju ) The menu options offers the three tiers as others have mentioned, I too agree, silver probably would have been sufficient. My favorite part of our meal was our server. He was informative and a great communicator! He guided us through our meal, made great suggestions, and was an overall great host. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or just want a different dining experience, give them a try!

Ask the Community - Sea Wagyu House

Any time limit for AYCE?

I believe it's 90 minutes.

From the review, the service is really bad and kinda messy especially for a big party. Should I make a reservation for my company event here?

No I don't recommend having a company event there. There is only 1 grill for a big table of 8-12 people.

What's are the price person?

They have 3 tiers you can choose from. The gold tier is $45. The silver's tier is $58. And the diamond tier is $75.

What is the price for kids?

Half the price of the tier you select if they are below 4 ft

Do they have gluten free options?

Can one person eat here?

I believe you can. You'll just need to walk in. I'm assuming they don't take reservations on the Yep app for a party of one, unfortunately.

What food do they serve?

Sushi and Japanese BBQ

Nothing too fancy, just a nice clean restaurant to enjoy some Korean fried chicken. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the sauce had a good balance of sweet and salty. Maybe a little heavy on the batter, but other than that I was very satisfied! The fries were good too, not too salty and perfectly crispy. What I especially enjoyed was the sotteok sotteok. The sausage had a great snap to it, and it paired really well with the chewiness of the tteokbokki. The lady at the front was super sweet! Since it was my first time I was a little unsure about how to order, but she helped make it clear, and was kind enough to update me on the status of my sotteok sotteok when she brought me my chicken. If I'm in the area and in the mood for some Korean fried chicken, I'll definitely come back and try the other flavors. Possibly get sotteok sotteok again too. I think that's my favorite side!

It has definitely become one of our go-to spots for Korean fried chicken, even though we've noticed a few hiccups along the way. Our Absolute Favorites (Highly Recommend): Gangnam Style Wings & Soy Garlic Wings: These are our top tier wing choices--packed with flavor! BBoom Chicken (Boneless): This seems new, or maybe we just missed it previously. Either way, it is incredibly delicious and has officially been added to our favorites list. Rose Ddeok-bokki: So good! Pro tip: make sure to add cheese if you are a cheese lover. Kimchi Fried Rice: Always delicious and satisfying. Other Flavors We've Tried: Cheesling Wings: These are good, but a little too sweet for my personal taste. Honey Garlic Wings: They are just okay. Golden Original Wings: A little too plain for me; we didn't like these as much as the sauced options. Side note: The complimentary pickled radish that comes with the chicken is fantastic. It's super refreshing and the perfect companion to cut through the heavy, oily food. The Only Downside: The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the quality isn't totally stable. Most of the time it is great, but occasionally our wings aren't very crispy, and there was one time when the wings we received were surprisingly small. Overall, the flavors here are fantastic and the good definitely outweighs the bad. We will definitely keep ordering from here!

Ordering is by QR code including soft drinks and other beverages. But you need to ask for water. The options were great because they had everything I was looking for. Chicken heart and cartilage, beef tongue, lamb, and grilled garlic. The flavors though were not so great. Everything, except the lamb, was covered in I believe dried fennel. It wasn't their signature spice mix because that was available at the table to compare. The flavor was intense after eating a few skewers. The lamb skewer was the best because it was a break from the monotonous flavor profile and was very tender. The dumplings were supposed to be pork and cabbage, very little cabbage if at all. They were just meatballs inside wrapping. The garlic skewers were the most disappointing. Raw whole peeled cloves of garlic grilled. They didn't taste of garlic at all. How does garlic lose all its flavor from grilling? Also, was I supposed to order a starch or rice to have with the skewers? Might have dampen the intense dried fennel flavor. There was a manager and another staff working the front. Neither spoke much English. Payment was with the cashier.

Fortunately for us, we were only a party of two so we were quickly seated. Our server was a very nice guy who briefly went over the menu with us and was super patient when we said that it was our first time here. A nice little touch was that initially they were going to see us at a table near the window, but noticed that someone's phone was charging near there so he quickly moved us to a different table even though it would've been more convenient to place us at that table. We ordered the beef brisket Soul Bowl and half of "Not Yo Nachos" with beef brisket. Contrary to the size of both of these entrées, they were actually very filling, and we had to bring them home to go. The soul bowl was very flavorful and filling where the brisket was nicely seasoned and not too sweet. Then again, I do not have the biggest sweet tooth when it comes to barbecue. The only thing I wanted to point out was that the mac & cheese was a little bit on the dryer side but other than that, I would recommend the bowl if you're someone who can't finish a whole entree. I have very similar thoughts with the "Not Yo Nachos" because they tasted very identical to the soul bowl excluding the Mac. When I have a bigger appetite, I would love to come back here and try the full barbecue plates!

The location that we went to is located next to Maggiano's Little Italy in Santana Row on Olin Ave. There is a free 2 hour parking structure across of the restaurant where my boyfriend and I parked at. We came during their Lunch Specials (until 4pm) and Happy Hour (from 3-5:30pm) which worked perfectly as we wanted something smaller in portion compared to the dinner portions. We started off with drinks. I got their Pig Ol' Bitties Blonde Ale, and my boyfriend got their Friday Beer & Shot special of This Little Piggy Went to [Mark]et with a 16 oz Dirty Little Pig IPA and a shot of Benchmark whiskey. My fault for having him get a whiskey shot on an empty stomach, though HAHA. He did like how smooth the whiskey was at least! We shared a 2-meat BBQ Lunch Combo Plate, and honestly, we should have gotten 3 meats because of how tender and delicious everything was! We got their Tri Tip and Sliced Brisket with their Garlic Mash and server recommended Sweet Potato Tots. Ahhh, everything was so good! Aside from the tender, flavorful meats, the two sides, especially the garlic mash, were sooooo good. We both loved everything! It was definitely a great choice coming during lunch as we were quite full after ordering one of their happy hour shareables of Chips & Queso (kind of pricey even for happy hour in my opinion for chips and cheese). Honestly wished we got their Chili Cheese Fries or their other fries which were the same price than just chips and dip LOL. But it was a good hold over food with us drinking a bit (at least for me). Shoutout to the only server who was working on a late Friday afternoon as she was doing her best to accommodate everyone + trying to clean up the previous tables. It was kind of sad seeing that the other workers didn't help bus the tables in my opinion. Overall, a great place to watch sports and have some good whiskey as this restaurant is known for their whiskey selections!
