My favorite go-to spot for sushi & sashimi after a long day at work! Yoshi Happy Hour daily after 9pm never disappoints--fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to unwind. David always provides Great service, quick and great food! Ambiance is causal.

Sushi and wasabi were very fresh. The sake we had was sweet. Great overall service as well

Always a solid spot! Easy go to in the neighborhood, quick and delicious. They have some great deals as well! Never dined inside but as for sushi takeout, it's always been good to me. Can't say I've had a stand out dish but I can't say I've had a bad one either. Give it a shot and yelp me know.

I love Yoshida sushi Cozy, clean and friendly folk Lots of lunch combos and box lunches Here's a pick of today's lunch. Fresh decent portions and all the classics! Sushi

Ordered sushi from here through DoorDash for delivery. There was a special for BOGO on the takoyaki. I also ordered a few nigiri pieces, a hotel California roll, and a dinosaur roll. All of the food was packaged really well and looked delicious. They provided chopsticks and soy sauce packets in the delivery bag as well. The Takoyaki was about $10-11. The nigiri was about $10 for two pieces, which I thought was on the pricey side. The cost of the rolls were more in line with other restaurants, around $15. Everything tasted very good and probably next time I'll go to the restaurant to eat.

Yoshi Sushi is a great late-night sushi spot! They offer happy hour pricing starting at 9 PM, making it an excellent value. The service was fast, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the sushi was fresh and delicious.

Chirashi Don
Shaina P.

Love having a spot where I can get a solid chirashi don. The sashimi slices were fresh and literally melted in the mouth. The ratio of sashimi to sushi rice is also very good. Service was also on point, and my food came out with little to no wait. Plenty of parking around the restaurant, and I literally didn't have to wait for a parking spot. Definitely would go back!

This was recommended by a friend and I really liked it Menu is what you expect for a standard Bay area sushi place. The lunch special sushi are a great value for the basics. Did not try bento but it looked good. Exotic roll section was solid and diverse, lots of avocado inclusion as well which was unique Service was fast and direct. In some areas, you can see them actually making the sushi Ambiance is nice. Restaurant is well designed with chefs in the center, bar space on one side and tables on the other. Tables probably can't take over 6 people

- Lots of parking available via a shared parking lot - Good for groups of all sizes (from one person to larger groups). Booths and high tables available - Good for kids as they have fish the kids can watch - Food was okay - obvious emphasis on the fusion as it was not Japanese at all - The restaurant wasn't too loud - we came at a good time when it was fairly quiet

My new favorite sushi spot! If you're a salmon lover like me they have so many good options for you!! My favorite had to be either the mango crunch roll or the salmon skin roll. Next time I will be trying that salmon lovers roll! I also really liked their garlic edamame, it was almost buttery. I also really appreciated the servers there since they provided great service. And honestly really talking to get to know you. Inside is a little small so I don't recommend coming in with a party of 6+. But overall one of my new favorite sushi spots!

Fired Cracker(5 Pieces) Takoyaki Pink Lady Roll
Monica L.

Got a bunch of different items. The Fired Cracker aka Crispy Rice and Takoyaki were good. The Philadelphia Roll and Skewers were not good. The roll had fish that felt older and more fishy. The skewers were not flavorful and could have at least used some salt. Seaweed salad was a big portion even if there were mixed greens underneath it. Overall a decent sushi spot but not a place I'd be itching to go back to.

Uni shooters
Nerrissa S.

Came in on a Thursday night with friends and stayed almost two hours enjoying the intimate ambiance, conversation and delicious fresh cuts of fish. We tried the uni shooters, had a few rolls including fried crab and a 49er roll (my fave) and it was so good! The sashimi portions were also thiccc and generous. Attentive service, ease to order in tablet, and the food came at an excellent pace! Will be back.

Hotel California Roll
CJ H.

I haven't been inside this restaurant myself, but I've ordered from them several times on DoorDash. I tried their Lion King Roll and Hotel California Roll, and both were absolutely delicious. Even though takeout doesn't have the same freshness as dining in, the sashimi was still tender, flavorful, and free of any fishy taste. The salmon's rich flavor combined with the chewy sushi rice completely satisfied my hunger for the whole day. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the food is truly tasty and worth recommending!

Sashimi Special and 49Er Roll. Roll was really good

This review is long overdue! We first discovered Sen Dan Sushi over ten years ago, and we still…read morelove it just as much today. We regularly order takeout from here, and it remains one of our favorite sushi restaurants because of their incredible consistency. The quality, taste, freshness, and beautiful presentation never drop. We ordered takeout again today for a family gathering (a party of six), and everything was fantastic: Baked Salmon Roll: We always get this--highly recommended if you have someone in your group who doesn't like raw fish! Combo Roll: This features the Dragon, Happy, and Storm rolls. It's a great new addition and a wonderful value since we used to order those individually anyway. Las Vegas & Milpitas Rolls: Both were big hits with the group. Everything we had today was just as amazing as before. Over the years, we have probably tried more than 20 different dishes from their menu, and we have literally never been disappointed. Highly recommend Sen Dan Sushi to anyone in the area!

Since we were sitting at the bar, we got to see sushi being made and orders pushed out. The chefs were very efficient. Our group ordered the storm bringer roll, tiger roll, salmon kama, and nigiri mix. Storm bringer is our usual go to roll and it was good as always. The tiger roll was new and I'm so glad we tried it. The chili pepper with spicy garlic chili on top of the salmon was so good. Most likely will rotate this roll in from now on. The salmon Kama was a good size to share and charred well. The nigiri mix had really fresh slices of fish. I'm glad we can always depend on the quality of the sushi here.

I ended up ordering almost the entire menu because I hadn't eaten all day and work completely took over my life. I got two Lion King rolls, a salmon skin roll, and baked mussels. The baked mussels were the standout--really delicious--but definitely on the heavier side. Overall, everything leaned rich and sauce-forward, which I realized was partly my fault since I focused on baked rolls instead of lighter options like sashimi. If you're not into baked rolls, they can be a little intense, so I'd make sure that's your thing before ordering. The salmon skin roll was a nice reset--more traditional, not overly flavorful, with just enough sauce to balance things out. In the future, I'd probably ask for less sauce overall, especially on the mussels, because it bordered on too much. That said... the value is insane. My total, including tip, was about $64 for six sushi items (including mussels), which feels like a steal. I personally found it a bit too flavorful, but my boyfriend thought it was amazing and was beyond happy--so clearly this place hits for the right audience. Would I order again? Absolutely. The deal alone makes it hard not to.
