I'm SUPER glad bend is expanding its Asian options. However, as someone who eats fairly authentic Korean food at least once a week, this place was fairly hit was miss -- but would recommend if you're craving Asian food when passing/visiting central Oregon. Vibes: 5/5 - clean, modern, and super cute ceramics! Kimchi bread and butter: 4.5/5. One of our favorites. Nice soft bread and super yummy kimchi butter. We didn't like the sesame butter though - it was too vegetal with underbites of bitterness Kimchi pancake (jeon) - 5/5 probably my favorite for the night Kimchi jiggae - 3/5; this was essentially Miso soup with some kimchi. I didn't mind it, but it's not the hot steaming jiggae that I'm usually used to. Seems like if you have kimchi and miso you can make this soup fairly easily Teok bukki (spicy rice cakes) - 4/5. I enjoyed this but the sauce was definitely too gochujong forward and lacked the sweetness. Also no fish cakes which is my favorite part of this dish generally Ssam - 4/5 we got the kalbi ssam, would recommend, although I didn't love the seaweed wrap. Still very enjoyable though Gnocchi - 2/5, this dish was pretty bad :/ I don't know what happened but I didn't realize "gnocchi" was the Korean rice cakes. The sauce with the eggplant tasted good but when you add rice cake to the mix it ruined it. I'm not sure if this dish is there to suit the western palate or something but the sauce tasted like a mediocre pan Asian sauce. Dessert hoddeuk - 2/5, I also didn't enjoy it. This was whipped cream, over fried dough, and cinnamon poached pear. The over fried texture (hard$ of the dough didn't really go with the goeyness of the fruit. Flavor was okay, although I'm fairly biased and don't think cinnamon flavored fruit should be in most Asian dishes haha. But I know that's my personal bias read more

I was rather surprised when we walked in and there were only 4 tables full and was told we needed reservations. I looked around and said- really? He went and checked with someone and then said he could get us a table. The food was very flavorful. Small portions. A bit expensive for the amount. I will go back. Yoli is always one of our top 5 restaurants we recommend when dining out in Bend. There's nothing we've had that hasn't been short of spectacular, but particularly recommend the Fried Cauliflower, Fried Octopus, Kalbi Steak, and Bibimbap. Add a 54oz bottle of OB Pilsner and you're walking out full for under $100 for two. The service is always superb as well. So happy to have them still in Bend! read more

I had the ssam with kalabi and it was incredibly good, tons of flavor exploding in my mouth, my sister had the bib Im bap which was also really good. The service here is excellent and it is also reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this, oh, and try the Korean apple soda, it was delicious. read more

I was so excited to see a Korean restaurant in bend, but this place is another fusion restaurant. We ordered the cauliflower, ddukbokki, bibimbap, and grilled pork belly and everything was good, it just isn't the authentic Korean experience I was hoping for. The ddukbokki for example, is stir-fried with kimchi, which is just not right If you're okay with fusion Asian food, you should give it a try! read more

This is an Asian-style bistro, not a Korean restaurant. The miniature lunch serving of bulgogi was sickly sweet and overly salty at the same time. The kimchee tofu soup used too-fresh kimchee and no tofu. The spicy chicken burger was tasty but not particularly Korean. Prices are very reasonable. Service was fine. Ambiance is hard to pin down - vaguely asian with rock and roll music. read more

Crazy we live in Bend and have never heard of this place. My parents from the valley came over to treat me for a bday lunch. Classy and quaint inside. Windows are filmed over, so you won't be able to see inside/outside. Customer service is top notch! They accommodated my no seafood/fish oil request (above and beyond) even bringing me a sample of vegetarian kimchi. Food was quality (all freshly made), and the price for the food and beverages was surprisingly not bad at all considering location and inflation! Coffee here is amazing. The fried cauliflower is a must order! I ordered bulgogi lettuce wraps, it was so good. It came with red leaf lettuce. Would be even better with a crispier type like romaine, iceberg or living butter lettuce as it holds more of the filling. We are so happy to see a new cuisine option in Bend. Please advertise your business more! This place is a gem and would love to see it succeed. We will definitely return. read more

Yoli is a cool hip and trendy newer Bend restaurant. It's sometimes hard to get a seat as it's still fairly popular and doesn't have a lot of seating. It's definitely on the pricier side but let's be honest it's Bend in 2023. We pay a premium for everything here even if it isn't good. Yoli has a fun and creative menu with excellent service considering the staff shortages that everyone is having. We will definitely be back for a "special" date night as we really enjoy the experience they provide. If it's traditional Korean food your looking for I'd call this more of a playful fusion so set your expectations and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

What an amazing meal - the highest caliber food, fabulous service with the perfect tone of personal and professional, and it's all right downtown. Our group of 4 ordered the multi-course tasting menu (ridiculously well priced at $60pp) and as such we were able to sample almost the entire menu between our orders. Every single item had its own depth of flavor, heat, etc. Beautiful presentations, generous proportions, a vast spectrum of tastes. Nice wine list, too! Truly the definition of 'hidden gem'! We had excellent Korean food in Palm Springs last year and I guess was expecting it to be more in line with that dining experience since it's being pitched as authentic. This place came highly recommended from a friend of mine who owns restaurants. It did not disappoint. We had a fantastic meal for a family of 4 with teenaged kids. The bill came to $129 which ws a tremendous value based on the quality of the food and the experience. Our server was fantastic. Wow. I never write reviews but I am writing this to express my love and appreciation for this fine restaurant. As diners three times over, from their opening to the present, every experience has been extremely memorable. The food is incredible, unique, and elevated - and the service? Impeccable. Last night my husband and I started off with cocktails: Ulsan Sour and Jujube Old Fashioned. Both hit the spot and were unique twists on the classics. For our starters, we enjoyed the Yukhoe, Caviar Ppang, and Mandu (a special dumpling offered that evening). The Caviar Ppang really stood out though all were tasty first bites. With perfect timing we were brought our mains, the Oli (duck breast) and the Ssam with Bulgogi. This is the best duck I've had in my life! Great flavor and absolutely amazing texture. Cooked to perfection! Highly recommend. The Ssam Bulgogi had a pleasant sweetness that paired perfectly with the banchan- our favorites were the three varying types of house made kimchee. We didn't have room for dessert this time but will definitely be back soon to explore their varied menu and the unique flavors only found at Yoli. Thank you to their amazing staff. Bend is lucky. A must try! Side note: the negative reviews I've seen mostly complain about the food not being "authentic Korean." Well, they don't claim to be "authentic Korean" as is clearly stated on their website. They are proudly a fusion-type restaurant inspired by Korean flavors. That's what makes them so special. Food was tasty. The food is more fusion vs traditional Korean food. If you've ever eaten Korean food in any of the major cities like NY, SF, HNL ect. don't expect Yoli to be the same/similar. It's watered down. Kimchi was sweet, not fermented or very lightly fermented. Soju offering could be a lot wider. read more

The food was fantastic. We ate family style so we could sample everything. And everything was delicious. The Kalbi steak was tender. The pajeon was flavorful and fried with a crispy edge. And the banchan was crisp, cold and refreshing. The service is great at this tiny restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation. I don't have pictures because we dove in so quickly. Decided to come here for date night. Place was recommended from Open Table so we made reservations. It's nice to see more diverse eateries in Bend. We were greeted quickly by the very nice staff. Service & atmosphere were great. We were pleasantly surprised by food. My husband ordered the Tuna Hwe & bulgogi and cleaned his plate. I ordered the Foie gras and LA Kalbi which was on their special. I was not disappointed. Their banchan options were good as well. I wasn't a fan of their kimchi but everything else was good. This place puts out some amazing Korean food! This is best and most authentic Asian food in Bend! My fiancé and I started off with Hite (beer) and Soju. I was pleasantly surprised to see both options on the menu. We ordered the rice cake appetizer to start (mix of rice cakes, kimchi and mushrooms), amazing flavor. We split the bimbimbop and the bulgogi. The food was delicious and authentic. The only aspects I would suggest for improvement are the banchan, the picked veggies could be more pickled and spicy. Decided to explore this quaint gem in Bend on Wall St. decor was modern and clean. Exceptional and attentive service provided by our waitress, and courses were served in a timely manner. We tried an array of the menu, wish I had another stomach to order more, maybe next time! The only thing that could use more attention was the foam that topped the oyster, as it just didn't have as much flavor as I was expecting, and the temperature at which they were served could've been more chilled or maybe on an ice-bed. They also had a great selection of non-alcoholic beverages ranging from beer and flavored sodas, which is awesome.
