O M G! If you are looking for some good food come here!! I was blown away with the flavor of everything I ate here. I left so full and so satisfied , you could roll me out of there. To start off , their turmeric, ginger juice was so beautiful and tasted so delicious. Then I had the briscuit biscuits and omgg they were sooooo flavorful. It was so delicious . The hashbrowns complimented it so well, and came with a sort of aioli sauce that was perfection. My husband had the huevos rancheros and they were very good as well ! I can't wait to head to the beach to eat here again!

Stopped by for breakfast burritos and YUMMM. There's a choice of vegetarian, bacon, or spicy sausage. I did the spicy sausage and added some of the Caribbean Hot sauce. It gave it a nice extra kick :) This stand opens at 8am everyday and I'll be sure to stop by again soon for breakfast and/or lunch.

Cool outdoor place on smith st serving mostly jerk chicken. I got the 1/2 chicken and sauteed greens. Both were very good with generous portions. Hot sauce was also tasty. Will be back.

I almost don't want anyone to know how great this place is. We stumbled upon this spot just walking around and saw this chill vibe of the back yard and decided to give it a shot. My hubby had the jerk chicken tacos & I had the red bean & feta tacos (minus the feta bc Im vegan) with a side of rice & peas and it was all AMAZING! We met Alan (the owner or chef ?) Who was very zen & chill and welcoming. We can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu! What a gem!

New look. New vibe. Super cool spot. You can now enter the Airstream and listen to music. Watch a game on the flatscreen. Came for a drink on a chill weeknight before I ordered dinner to take home. The food currently offered is Mexican and we were super happy. Great overall authentic.

Was excited when I saw this pop up. The closest jerk chicken around here is 5th Avenue in park slope and it's an expensive Restaurant that charges close to $30 for jerk chicken. Got the 1/2 chicken and it was quite good. Served with a side of what I was told was jerk sauce but tasted more like hot sauce. was very good- more vinegar base than traditional jerk sauce though but I'm not the jerk police (or am I?). I did drink the remaining sauce if that tells you anything. Wouldn't mind the chicken a bit spicier but I thought it was very solid and saves me the trip of going to prospect lefferts gardens or crown heights for the well known jerk spots. Will go back and try sides next time and the soup.

Not an afterthought hiding in the corner of the tray pretending to matter. These had real presence. The kind of side dish that starts acting like it pays rent. Deeply satisfying. Very much giving do not overlook me, sweetheart. And the rice? Stand up. Seriously. The rice came in with backup dancer status and somehow turned into co-lead. Fluffy. Well-seasoned. Actually worth eating on its own, which is rare because a lot of restaurant rice just be there for emotional support. This rice had purpose. This rice had ambition. The restaurant has become…read morea favorite among the Gen Z crowd, and after one bite of its signature chili-fried chicken, it's easy to understand why. The chicken is crunchy, intensely flavorful, and carries just the right amount of heat. Each piece is buttermilk-brined, country-fried, and dusted with Sichuan peppercorns, Tianjin chilis, and five-spice, creating a combination that's spicy, numbing, savory, and deeply addictive all at once. But the menu goes beyond the famous fried chicken. Seasonal dishes rotate regularly, alongside standout chicken sandwiches and wings that deserve just as much attention. There's an energy to the food that feels modern without losing sight of technique or tradition. That balance comes directly from chef and founder Eric Huang. Huang grew up working in his family's Chinese restaurant while training as a cellist at Juilliard School before eventually abandoning music. After a detour studying history at Northwestern University, he committed fully to cooking and spent more than a decade training in some of NYC's most prominent kitchens, including Cafe Boulud, Gramercy Tavern, and Eleven Madison Park. As a sous chef at Eleven Madison Park, he was part of the team that helped the restaurant earn the title of "Best Restaurant in the World" in 2017. Like many chefs, Huang's plans changed dramatically in 2020 when the pandemic interrupted his ambitions of opening a Michelin-starred restaurant. Instead, he returned home to help save his family's struggling business. Out of that difficult moment came the dish that would define Pecking House: the now-famous Sichuan chili country fried chicken, reportedly perfected on the very first attempt. Pecking House succeeds because it combines serious culinary pedigree with food that's delicious, craveable, and unpretentious. The fried chicken alone is worth the trip and the long line.

I walked into a bright, clean, and energetic restaurant with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. I went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing I have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during my visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.
