Before trying Wangs, my favorite wings in Brooklyn were exclusively from Chuko, but these were truly such a delightful experience. We got the 9 piece with their not hot sauce and garlic ginger aioli on the side. The extra sauce was delicious but the wings didn't need it! So crispy, perfectly flavored and not too sweet, good to the last drop. Each one was huge!! You only need 3-4 for a full meal in my opinion. Knocked another off that's been on my list for awhile and it was... underwhelming. For a fusion restaurant, I'm not getting a lot of fusion. I ordered the Banh Mi because it was my compelled responsibility as a Vietnamese person but it was a technical stretch. Like all of their other items I tried, the fried chicken itself relies on other ingredients for flavor. I honestly forgot it was there everytime I bit into it. While some of their other chicken items are crunchy, this one gets soft and lost and in the crowd. The bread was not the soft craggly bread that's signature to Banh mis, and that's not so bad, but their bread was a very unique doughier texture. It was even paler. It was an interesting choice. What stood out that technically makes it a Banh mi for me is the pate. It was good and generous enough that I can taste it with every bite. Because I'm dating a Taiwanese woman, I also ordered the popcorn chicken. It was a light coating, not the crunchy craggly kind. Again-- no flavor in the chicken itself. Chicken bits is a more accurate description to me. And finally I order the wings with the cilantro lime sauce. The wing size itself is big and plump. No flavor but the texture was very crispy without feeling greasy. I ate some immediately and had some the next day-- the texture stayed-- minus the parts sitting in the pool of sauce but that's expected. Vietnamese style with good ingredients and texture, but wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. I'd sooner get a banh mi sandwich somewhere else. However, the Korean wings were 4.5/5- perfectly fried and the sauce. Oh, the sauce. Spicy sweet with the right amount of heat for me. The wings come as the full wing with both the drumette, flat, and tip, but it's pretty easy to separate them with your hands. Like any good wing it's a mess, but it's a delicious, worthwhile mess. The Wangs...I mean wings, were spot on delicious . - Crispy, crunchy skin, juicy meat and the Wang Ho Sauce is finger licking good. Sweet ,spicy ,sticky and I didn't spare the remnants at the bottom of the box either. They serve the entire wing -drum,flat and tip. The wings are big, after 2 I was getting pretty full. The Mac and Cheese was also very good. There's panko crumb topping those crunchy bits make a great texture contrast. Shoestring fries are my least favorite cut of potatoes but the Japanese seasonings on these are perfect ( I think it would be more yummy on a regular French cut though) The sesame aioli - please sell this by the gallon - gosh it was goooood! The housemade ketchup was impressive as well. Service - Super Friendly, the lady at the window was pleasant and welcoming. I've ordered delivery from Wangs for a number of years now and their food is always solid. I usually get 3 Chicken Wings, with a side of the cucumbers and a couple Foco mango juices. If you're wondering if 3 wings is enough to fill you up, it IS! I've also had the Mac and cheese (delicious) and the side salad. The chicken is consistently really good. Wangs is a small restaurant on Union Street/4th Ave in Brooklyn, NY (Park Slope). It's like a half restaurant. There is no indoor seating, it's a take away window. They have limited outdoor seating; and when I say limited, I mean like 1 table, maybe 2. So I'm gonna say this is 100% for take out. It's an Asian/Soul Food fusion restaurant. I went with my wife around 1130-1200p to grab some lunch. The ordering process was easy, you order at the window and go sit and wait for your food. There was no line when we got there. I do remember thinking the food was a little long in coming out, it's about 15-18 mins...but they can't bring it to you alive so.... We ordered Half Chicken with Hot Honey Sauce on the Side, Mac and Cheese, Cornbread with Honey butter on the side, and 6 Hot Honey Wings; 2 Peach Iced Teas. This restaurant isn't cheap, for the food we ordered, total came close to $60! This is not somewhere you can eat every day. I didn't like my Half Chicken, I thought it was well cooked but the breading had no flavor to it, making the chicken taste bland. My wife suggested that Koreans cook their chicken that way and use the sauce on the side to add flavor...I dunno. When I put the sauce on the chicken, it helped...a little, not much. The cornbread was good, with the honey butter it was better. The butter was hard tho, so I couldn't spread it on the cornbread. I ended up taking it home to heat it up to put on later. The peach Iced tea had an additional flavor to it, something I can't remember, but I thought it was refreshing. My wife's "wangs" were bomb, made me regret not ordering what she had. The hot Honey was baked into the chicken, it was sticky and had a nice glaze, her chicken was cooked well. The Mac and Cheese was *meh*, it was something to eat, nothing crazy good about it. I'm not sure what they put on top of it, panko or something, but I wasn't too impressed with the flavor. We ended up leaving before finishing our meal. The eating area is outside. Being outside it invites flies, and bees, I guess they like the Hot Honey too! We ended up taking our food home and finishing it there. A lil expensive, didn't like the flavor of the chicken, bland Mac and cheese. If I come back here I'll just order some "wangs" to go. read more

I used to live right around the block from Wangs, and I used to really like eating here. I decided to try it again when I was back in town, but unfortunately, it's not as good as I remember it being. The chicken wings were just ok: sort of skimpy pieces, cooked well, but with an odd sauce that does not exactly say "Korean" to me. The collard greens were also so/so...I really like collard greens, and these were just not all that great. The only good dish was the fried chicken sandwich, which is still really good (albeit a bit small). If you are in the neighborhood and looking for a place with outdoor seating, the sandwich is a good choice, but otherwise I'd say "pass." read more

Such a great spot for delivery in Park Slope! Korean cuisine is my absolute favor so I always have an eye out for new spots. I'm upset I haven't found this place sooner!! Since they are known for fried chicken of course I had to order some of that. I went with the popcorn chicken, side of fries and a side of mac & cheese. The chicken was super crispy even with being delivered. Very tasty, you can tell they took care in using a good amount of spices. The fries also stayed crisp and not soggy. They are super skinny and great to dip in all of the different sauces they offer. They had a bunch of different sauces, I ordered a Garlic Aioli, ginger sauce, house made ketchup and a Wangs not hot sauce. Highly suggest the garlic aioli! Came here to meet up with a friend that lived in Park Slope. Ended up eating the food elsewhere as he wasn't aware that they have no seating area and the location was just the kitchen only, so we ended up eating the food at his apartment. Besides that little complaint, the food was pretty awesome. We got an order of "Wangs" not spicy with a side of the hot sauce and ordered their special Loaded Potatoes they were advertising on their chalkboard. The food is on the expensive side, despite lower overhead cost for not having a seating area. I guess real estate is pretty expensive around this area. The Loaded Potatoes is worth paying the $6. It has a unique Asian twist to it and it tastes amazing. The "Wangs" itself comes with both the wing and drumstick all in one, so when you're ordering three pieces, it's the whole damn wing and arm (I guess that's what you call it). If you love spicy, I'd recommend the spicy sauce over the not spicy sauce. Also, have a few wet wipes with you as it gets messy, but all worth it. read more
