This used to be one of my favorite spots--until today. I walked in and ordered nothing more than a side of catfish. After waiting approximately 32 minutes, I was finally told that they didn't have any fish. Thirty-two minutes to tell a customer you're out of the one item they ordered is completely unacceptable. Let me start by saying that I love Brooklyn Wing House. I haven't visited in a while and I was excited to get some wings. I ordered the Sweet Chili Rum Glaze wings with fries and a drink. The customer service was quick and the worker helped with explaining the order. The restaurant was not very busy for a Sunday afternoon. The wings were tasty and well prepared. All of the food pictures including delightful looking Sandwiches, Chicken and Waffles, Seafood, Salads, Corn on the Cob, etc.....have now given me incentive to get other food menu items the next several upcoming orders that I know I will place sooner rather than later-lol. One can order Brooklyn Wing House via Seamless, GrubHub, Doordash, etc but we have chosen to do so via UberEats. The first time we tried their food, we were pleasantly surprised w/ our flavorful chicken and crispy french fries. Now having ordered from them quite a few times during the last several months, I can happily comment that everything consumed has been consistently fantastic. We pass by this spot so often that we just had to pass by. We ordered the salmon burger, chicken sandwich and a couple of the empanadas to try; oxtail and jerk chicken. This was literally one of the best salmon burgers I've ever had, so flavorful and juicy with just a light kick. The chicken sandwich was equally delicious, crunchy, well seasoned, mouthwateringly delicious. Would highly recommend those two. The empanadas and the Mac and cheese bites were ok, we probably wouldn't order them again. The cashier was helpful and very pleasant. I love supporting local business and BK wing house is no exception to my rule. I originally found them Yelp and I have friends that lives nearby that loves their Dope Burger. This a takeout only restaurant which as I write this makes it a perfect business model during the shelter in place NYC is under due to the coronavirus. I usually get the honey BBQ wings that my favorite flavor. I've tried the sweet chilli rum glazed favor on the wings and I liked it. Ice also had the The Dope Burger which was good, but I come here for the wings! The waffles fries are good sometimes they can be too fried however. I've tried the Mac and Cheese balls and they were great I definitely recommend them They have a lunch special where you get wings, fries, and a can of soda I think for $7.50. The lunch special ends at 4:30. I wish the customer service was better however, it would be nice to be greeted when you entered and thanked for your business, especially for me as a regular customer. I was looking forward to my visit to Wing House, but was completely disappointed and would not recommend this place for a few reasons. First of all, the service is extremely slow. I waited literally 30 minutes for an order of a dozen wings and waffle fries - on a weekday afternoon. Totally unacceptable - there were only 2-3 other customers in front of me. When I finally received my order, the food was COLD. What gives? For a long wait, I expected my food to at least be fresh and hot. Instead, the wings seemed like they were sitting out there for a while, and the waffle fries were soggy - not crispy at all. So disappointing - and the fact that the food was very expensive made it hurt even more. The food is so overpriced. And lastly, the restaurant does not do anything about the trash and litter they (or their customers) create. It is disgusting - this neighborhood is beautiful, and yet there are piles of trash and chicken wing bones (see photo) littering the street because of Wing House. There needs to be some type of signage about littering, or something. Management just seriously needs to do something because this is not how you respect your neighborhood. I also went out on a limb and ordered the Fried Calamari which was pretty decent if you're in the mood for it.
