    14. Buffalo Fried Jumbo Shrimp (10) I opted out of getting rice.

I'm a snob when it comes to American Chinese food take out. Before a few months ago. I never tried Hardee's. My boyfriend insisted it was better than my usual spot. So I decided to give them a try. He was right. Now they are expensive. I've never paid less than $15 for any meal I've eaten. The chicken wings are great. Their Buffalo shrimp with broccoli got me in a chokehold. It's not your typical buffalo sauce. It's not really that spicy but it's savory with a hint of sweet and heat. I like it and they give you their version of bleu cheese. I do love that they give you 10 jumbo shrimp versus the 5 X-large you may typically get with a shrimp dish from Chinese takeout places. They're pretty quick and if you're a regular and creature of habit like my bf they know you by order and face. They need a reward system for all the money he's spent there. They accept card payments but they charge random fees and it's not worth it considering how expensive they already are. Bring cash.

Spicy salt and pepper shrimps. Sautéed broccoli. Excellent.

Hardee's food is honestly, goooood. Hardee's cooks seem to understand that MSG isn't an actual seasoning and that all Chinese food does not have to taste like it's served from an assembly line. My current fave is the crispy fried shrimp with sauteed broccoli, topped with jalapeños. Hardee's food is never greasy and again, I detect the flavors of real herbs and spices or at least a little seasoning salt.

WOW! Had this marked in my bookmarks because I'm always picking in ppl's food when they order so I knew I needed to get it myself one day. Let me tell ya'll about Hardee's briefly... Best Chinese take out and here's why: Each dish is blasted with flavor and seasoning. The Chinese man swears he's a rapper so his urban dictionary is flowing when he speaks (be aware it'll catch you off guard). The service is great, the place is clean, and the food once again is too damn good to pass up on. They put other Chinese food to shame. Their seafood is BEYOND DELICIOUS like this place needs to be everywhere. They give you A LOT of shrimp. Not the skimpy 5 pcs. other places will sink in the plate with 1000 fries. You're guaranteed to get at least 15-20 shrimps with your shrimp dish you might even get tired of eating it. SIKE! A little more pricey than your average Chinese spot but definitely well worth it. Thank GOD this place isn't by my house. I'd be addicted and possibly very overweight.

I think this one of the best neighborhood type chinese take-out spots. They have your regular chinese food you'll find in the typical spots...but they have added bonuses! ..Like philly cheesesteaks, turkey burgers, mussels in a wonderful black bean sauce, honey buffalo shrimps. The choices goes on and on. I found a new favorite here....The fish choices -- king fish, talapia, salmon or flounder. They grill, fry or steam it!. And the guy in the front - John...is the coolest Asian you'll find..This is a have to try spot. Call ahead cause it's always a long wait but it's well worth the wait. This is the same guys that was on Myrtle Ave. in Fort Greene. But due to a fire they have relocated to Crown Heights and they are better than ever!

"BOMB ASS SEAFOOD!" I went on a Friday night, crowded and definitely not a long wait, the kitchen is cranking the orders out! Steamed, grilled and fried are the ways you can get your fish which is (tilapia, salmon and flounder) and the shrimp is fresh and not that frozen crap! The 30 piece shrimp is actually seasoned with real seasonings and has a very light breading. You can also get it grilled or steamed! Did I also mention the shrimp is fresh?!? Lol yes, I did!!!!! Saw the chicken wings yum oh! Will order those next time and the other standard Chinese food. The oil is not some overly burnt oil, it tastes light and is very fresh! Will definitely be a repeat visitor. *parking is tough on weekends, might have to park on Park Place, single lane no double parking allowed!*

Ordered thru the app....food was ready by the time I walked to pick it up - no wait. Garlic fried shrimp we're good!

I've been going to this place for a couple years. Their food is always fresh. I'm also very picky when it comes to fried wings !!! I love HARDEES wings not to big and crispy. There's usually a long wait in the evening and on weekends, so call before you go.

High concentration of soy sauce. No bueno.

Sharp decline. Not sure what happened, but even if the speed of your services increases, the quality of your service, shouldn't decline. Why, if I ask for very little sauce on my lo mein, do the new guys, decide to douse it with soy sauce, like a Pyro maniac does a fire with gasoline. I haven't eaten here in a long time. I'm really disappointed by this. Especially when I have a long day at work, and am craving food I haven't had in a while. Please go back to the way you used to do things, or in going to have to stick with the new hibachi spot I found, that actually delivers. You guys don't deliver, and now it's become a double entendre.

There's a hotel right next-door. You're seated relatively quickly; basically the staff brings beverages and remove empty plates. The food looks pretty, but of a lot of it is a bit greasy. It's a little disappointing. There are all the expected steam table entrees: lo mein, fried rice, shrimp, some fish, chicken and pork, some dim sum, and soup, a salad bar, and an extensive dessert area. On the positive side; there's loads of free parking, there are some EV charging stations, it's easy to get in and out of the. Will we go back? A resounding NO! Even though it's $12.99 for lunch, there are other places to go and avoid dyspepsia.

King Buffet is located in the former Golden Corral & offers a variety of basic, common Chinese dishes & some sushi rolls, as well as misc desserts. I'd say was ok at best, and is a tad greasy & lower quality than if you ate the same dishes at a regular Chinese or Japanese restaurant. Though pretty clean for a Buffet, this place is good to fill the belly and not cone with a heavy price tag.

Prices seemed reasonable, and location is prime for easy parking. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived around 6p. We were told to sit anywhere, so we looked for a comfortable two top. We found one in the back, along side some counter top seating. The server delivered the menus and promptly asked for our beverage orders, honestly the way she said it I expected a full bar but no.. just bottled soft drinks, water and tea. I decided on a pot of green, a steal at $1.50/ pot or person. Refills on hot water graciously given throughout dinner. My wife was happy with water. We ordered the Chicken Lo Mein ($11.99,) Shrimp & Cabbage Dumplings ($15.99) and Pork & Cabbage Dumplings ($11.99.) The Lo Mein came out like the speed of light and piping hot. The Pork and Cabbage Dumplings followed right behind, it was then we knew, we ordered way too much food, and we hadn't even received our Shrimp dumplings yet. The servings are large for the price! What a good problem to have right!?! LEFTOVERS! We had enough time before the Shrimp dumplings came out to consolidate plates as the table was quite small, with the two serving plates of food, my tea pot and cup, both water cups, a napkin holder and a large wooden holder for sauces. Our table was at capacity. I looked at my Wife and knew she was thinking the same thing... "next time we'll do take out!" In my opinion this location for Palace Dumplings is strictly for the college crowd or the super casual diner. I thought the food was really good, but the dining experience not so much. Service was kind but the whole place was kinda sticky, bathroom wasn't clean enough and the seating is mildly uncomfortable. Overall a decent spot for a dumpling craving. They also have a decent bar, featuring sake, cocktails, beer and wine. On my most recent visit they were sold out of a couple of the imported Asian beers, not to fear though. They also have a decent list of local draft beers. So of course I pivoted to a IPA. For dinner we started with the Korean Wings ($14) from their extensive specials list, as well as the Shanghai and Singapore Noodles ($16 ea.) The wings were fried perfectly and the sauce was a well-balanced blend of sweetness and spice. For our noodle dishes, we were surprised to find that with the special you get a combo of chicken, shrimp and pork, as opposed to the choice of only one when you order from the regular dinner menu. Price point also varies depending on your protein. The Shanghai noodles were saucy, with a good amount of veggies with noodles similar to that of chow mein. Alternatively the Singapore noodles are very thin, spiced with a bit of curry and extremely flavorful. We enjoyed both and loved the care that was given by our server. She checked in and updated us about our order, while carefully navigating our needs without interrupting our intimate dinner. Red House is most definitely on my list for my next Happy Hour with the ladies. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress
