Finally tried hear after hearing what Facebook and Yelp thought of it. Really it's just fine here, the manager seats you very quickly and takes down your drink order, the food was keep hot/warm, plus I did see them change the food when the trays were nearly empty. Very attentive here, always got my finished plates, staff keep up with customers and cleaning. For food itself, I mean it's standard fair for a buffet, nothing over the top great, save for a few items like chicken on a stick and shrimp on a stick. Do wish they had more of sushi section, since not much variety. One thing I did notice is they have a happy hour during lunch and dinner were much cheaper, for those that complained about prices.

The only good item on this plate was the seaweed salad.

I've been to Flaming Grill numerous times but never have reviewed so here it goes…read more The good. Most of the food is quite tasty. The hibachi is quite good and fresh albeit a little overcooked on the eggs and beef. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The value for what you pay is the reason you go as well as most of the food. There is quite a lot of lobster and crab, but no lobster tail. My favorite things are the hibachi grill, the coconut chicken, the boneless spareribs and soups to name a few. There truly is something for everyone. The not so good. The sushi is very hit or miss I've had it. It's pretty good and I've had it where I wouldn't need it. It's not that it's bad. It's just lacking flavor. Most of the little dessert cakes are dry and flavorless. It can't get crowded on the weekends, but I've never had to wait for a seat. Granted it's usually just my wife and I if you have a big party you might wait on the weekend. The bad and why I took a star away on the review. Twice now, I've been there and ordered from the hibachi grill. The cook after he's done preparing your food will point at his tip jar or pick it up and shake it at you. If you don't tip him, he says something nasty to you. I'm sorry that's unacceptable. Overall, it wouldn't stop me from ever going back. Keep in mind it's an all you can eat Asian buffet. If you realize that and you're spending $23 at the time of typing this, it's well worth it.

It was an incredibly thoughtless gift. Their food is fairly disgusting, and this has nothing to do with me being Vegan naturally, they only put out the cheapest stuff possible and once in a while, they'll put out the more expensive stuff. I remember being very grossed out by the condition of the sneeze guard and the floor and that was such a long time ago. I can't even believe I remember it! Maybe things have changed, but somehow I doubt it. Who the hell wants to pay $11 or whatever it was for an all you can eat menu of absolute son of a lumberjack food. We heard that on a commercial and could not stop laughing. Everyone else seemed fine with it, but we're picky as hell. When we find a leafy green salad with rotten leaves in it, we don't want to eat it just a little tiny things like that we're not kidding, no, we are kidding. Sorry to give the place a bad review because we want every local business to succeed. We're not even through there anymore.. What the hell takes a Vegan to such a place? If you wanted to save money, then don't take me out to lunch in the first place. Cost much friction because I ended up telling my good friend or so. I thought the truth and she got so mad. Nobody likes the truth and I don't either and I should've kept my big mouth shut, but I couldn't. I also didn't think it was a good idea for her to eat there because it was afraid she was gonna get food poisoning.

But it was okay because we found street parking a little bit of a walk away and was able to still enjoy ourselves. My fiancé and I grabbed a bunch of food from their big variety and both left stuffed. Overall, I can't say it's the best quality of foods however, the selection was huge and for the price, this was actually very good! The service was great. They started us off with drinks as soon as we sat down and would ask us if we needed refills on these drinks whenever they were running low. Even though there was a lot of people, because the space itself is also big, it did not feel like we were overcrowded so that was also a plus!

There's even a prepared cutting section for peking duck, roast beef, etc. Dessert section had sweet soups, mochi, ice cream (vanilla and matcha), fried doughs, cakes, jellos, cotton candy, crepes, chocolate fountain etc Service was on top of their game, checking in pretty frequently on tables to pick up plates or take drink orders. There's a select menu for drinks and those are free. Inside is very clean and spacious. The restaurant is located inside the hotel on the 4th floor. The weekday dinner had lobsters and the weekend lunch had crayfish. We enjoyed all the food and the waitstaff was very attentive, they made quick rounds to collect plates and refill sodas. There is a lot of variety in the selections and they're all pretty tasty. Their sushi was good, we really it. The only thing I did not like was the wasabi, it looked neon green, the color of slimer from ghostbusters... it was looking too artificial. Their dessert/fruit table also has a wide selection and we had no issues whatsoever. The ice cream machine was kind of slow, I saw a lot of people had difficulty with the chocolate side of the machine. This is a great option to have out in the Poconos. We will alway return.

There is a nice fountain in front for ambiance. Some of the food was mislabeled or had no signage. There was some sushi which was fine, but no hibachi option. Neither of us felt great after, but I can't tell if it's the quantity or quantity. The prices are a little cheaper during the week and during lunch where there is one flat rate on Sunday, so if you're going on one of those days, it may feel like better bang for your buck.
