A cozy lil Asian fusion restaurant in Milton. The Red House, features sushi, dumplings, and a nice assortment of noodle and rice dishes. They also have a decent bar, featuring sake, cocktails, beer and wine. On my most recent visit they were sold out of a couple of the imported Asian beers, not to fear though. They also have a decent list of local draft beers. So of course I pivoted to a IPA. For dinner we started with the Korean Wings ($14) from their extensive specials list, as well as the Shanghai and Singapore Noodles ($16 ea.) The wings were fried perfectly and the sauce was a well-balanced blend of sweetness and spice. For our noodle dishes, we were surprised to find that with the special you get a combo of chicken, shrimp and pork, as opposed to the choice of only one when you order from the regular dinner menu. Price point also varies depending on your protein. The Shanghai noodles were saucy, with a good amount of veggies with noodles similar to that of chow mein. Alternatively the Singapore noodles are very thin, spiced with a bit of curry and extremely flavorful. We enjoyed both and loved the care that was given by our server. She checked in and updated us about our order, while carefully navigating our needs without interrupting our intimate dinner. Red House is most definitely on my list for my next Happy Hour with the ladies. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

Stopped by for lunch with a group of 5. Nice warm decor with a nice efficient table layout. One server for the entire restaurant causing very slow service. Server was nice and friendly but did not know the menu to properly explain the dishes. The Sushi roll rice was cold! Rice should be warm/room temperature with cold seafood. Below average. Dumpling and soup dumplings were good. Pad Thai. Undercooked and too sweet. Below average Shanghai noodles too greasy and lacking flavor. Vegetables in it were very good. Below average. Eggplant/garlic sauce. Very flavorful without being too salty or oily. Excellent. Bathrooms could be little cleaner. Service could be quicker. Too pricey for average and below average food offered. Probably will not return as food doesn't justify the prices.

Red House in Milton NY is a pan-Asian eatery serving sushi and hot entrees. We stopped by for a quick lunch and started with some soup dumplings followed by the Benjamin roll, Singaporean noodles, and general tso's chicken. Everything was fairly solid and we particularly enjoyed the Singaporean noodles which can be hard to find but we frequently crave. Worth a stop if you're craving Asian food in the Hudson Valley

There is really nothing wrong at all with this place. It is a very pleasant atmosphere. The servers are always warm and welcoming the food is good to fantastic. And that's the problem. There is an inconsistency with the food here. The same dish on a good day is bangin' super delicious and on some days it's good. Nothing to keep me from eating it. It's better than most but compared to the last time WTF??? Here's an example. We love the hot and sour soup, last time it was perfectly spice and hot, temperature wise. The ingredients were all well chopped and I could have eaten three bowls. The last time, today...it was a couple of degrees above warm. The flavor was good but there were chunks of ingredients that were not cut properly or at all. I had what at first I thought was a chicken bone but turned out to be maybe a twig from the spices. My wife found whole dried(now soggy) chili peppers. It was as if they were training a new chef. We ordered dumplings pork and also veggie ones. The veggie ones needed seasoning the pork ones were good. Nothing was so bad that I would never go again but the consistency makes it a game of odds. Again, nothing is bad that you should walk away if you're in the neighborhood but know if it knocks your socks off off you picked the right day.

We LOVE this place. It's a little gem not many people know about. It's Asian Fusion, and all freshly made and delicious! The table service, waitstaff and atmosphere is just right. We've come about 5 times now. Tonight I had the seaweed salad as an app and my husband had the boneless bbq ribs. Then I had the udon noodle vegetable stir fry. It had broccoli, cauliflower, bean, sprouts, baby, corn, bok choy, Napa, cabbage, etc. it was loaded and so good. My husband went for the what is that general Tao chicken but said it was excellent. Their pork fried rice is made to order and super good. I have loved their Coconut Prawns entree. Walnut Prawns, and have never been disappointed. My husband had loved their sushi and rolls, etc. Try it. You won't be disappointed. BBQ Spare RibsPad ThaiRoast DuckSashimi Dinner

Fantastic food here. Authentic Chinese food. You can taste the flame seared wok flavors in the stir fry dishes. I return as often as I can.

Service is always hit and miss here but better than bonsai to where you usually get RUDE service. The omen was my own home, so no complaints here. The sushi was fresh. Our pic was coconut mango rolls, which are wrapped in rice paper instead of Nori, eel, avocado, rolls, and California mango, which I had never had before. Most of this was appealing to my daughter and she really enjoyed it. I was in the mood for some tempura so we had the appetizer order. Don't bother with a temporary here. It is heavy and my guess is that they overuse the oil everything looked gray. Sorry I did not take pictures. She was way too hungry for that. All in all, given that this set us back about $50 plus tip and the tempera was subpar, they score 3 today.

I arrived early....just before 5pm on a weekday and had the place to myself for a little while. It's super clean with wonderful service, and there's k-pop playing on a big screen TV. What else could you want? How about absolutely outstanding food? Yes! I was hangry so I ordered a kimchi pancake and an order of bibimbap (no meat) with extra hot sauce. Before all that arrived, I was surprised and delighted by a perfect salad with amazing dressing that I'd like to bathe in and small cup of friggin' delicious pumpkin soup. My kimchi pancake was the spicy, carb-laden appetizer that I needed with a plentiful side of chili sauce. Then, my sizzling bibimbap arrived and I was thrilled to find purple rice under the fresh, assorted vegetables and fried egg. A side of kimchi and fish cakes accompanied my bibimbap. My iced ginger tea was sweet and a perfect complement to the rest of the meal. I almost polished off everything....loved that purple rice that got nice and crispy in that hot pot. Gochunjang tasted homemade...thick, spicy, savory and slightly sweet. The menu isn't extensive or overwhelming....it's just right. There's a nice selection of Makgeolli, so I got a bottle to take home with me for the weekend. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the neighborhood.

I got the soup dumplings which had a lack of depth. The broth had very little pork flavor and the fried shrimp dumplings were mostly filled with cabbage. I had to use a lot of soy sauce and chili oil because they were bland. The desserts are relatively small but my yuzu cheesecake had a WONDERFUL flavor. Very full of yuzu flavor. It seemed to contain actual zest and wasn't too sweet! The mochi was very very hard and wasn't chewy...don't get it. It was not good.
