This restaurant is always amazing! The staff are always friendly & welcoming. The food is always delicious & fresh!! The duck always hits the spot...nice & crispy & tender which melts in your mouth. The spring rolls are a must try appetizer. Beautiful decor inside as well. A few tables & chairs outdoors if you want to eat outside when the weather gets warmer.

This is a 5 star restaurant, voted best Thai restaurant in Beacon by The Hudson Valley magazine. From the friendly welcome we received when entering, to our server Angela S. who was very helpful with the selections in the menu. Even the owner came out of the kitchen to deliver our appetizers. I have never tried Thai cuisines before , but tonight that has changed. I'm officially a Thai food enthusiast. We started with the vegetable spring rolls with a sweet and sour sauce then onto the entrees. I had what they call a Red Duck in a medium red curry sauce. The sauce was fantastic, the Duck had that crispy skin and the Meat melted in your mouth. My wife had the yellow curry shrimp. The sauce also medium kick had a fantastic flavor, our daughter who treated us went with the Crispy Duck which she's had before and keeps ordering each of her 3 visits. Entrees are FANTASTIC. My wife has always had a sweet tooth so she had to have the Brownie sundae which she said was delicious. The ambiance gives family meal to Date night. Definitely agree with Hudson Valley magazine this is a Fantastic restaurant.

Not sure why we keep coming back here. It is one of the few Thai places in the area and the atmosphere in the restaurant is OK. Super pricey and the portions are moderate. Service is hit and miss, depending on when you arrive. I remember when they first opened years ago and the place was buzzing and top-notch. Unfortunately, I think they're living more on their reputation these days. You can expect to pop down at least $60-$70 for lunch for 2+ a tip

This place is always right up there when we're looking for a change of pace in beacon and has been our standard for really really good Thai food in the area. Truth be told you can get the same dish three or four times and they'll be great but they're never going to be the same because all the different talented chefs have a different spin on how they're going to make it. I'm not mad because it's great every time. Service is always prompt and will help you out if you want the spice adjusted or have any questions. Plenty of seating and very open dining room. Well lit and very pleasant to hang out and if you want to have a quiet dinner or hang out with the group enjoying the appetizers. P

I stopped and tried this restaurant furing the Beacon food crawl. What amazing food! I absolutely adore the Penang curry chicken and the spring roll with the sweet-and-sour sauce. Excellent! The people here were super nice and very gracious.

The service and location elevates the ratings, friendly, attentive and not as crowded! As far as the authenticity of the food you have to look at the location where your eating Thai--far from Queens (the top Thai spots). Anyways, I read the reviews and steered clear from the noodles! The Penang curry was good creamy slightly spice/sweet and Thai platter had good crispy spring and shrimp rolls. I'd come back for the ambiance and a reliable meal.

The food is mediocre / ok, but the poor service is the real let down. Don't necessarily expect them to be open even during posted hours

But it's not a big gripe because the food is always well seasoned even if it isn't peppery. Great service and friendly staff at this Sri Lankan restaurant…read more The manager/owner used to be a chef at the UN after traveling the world for various stints after leaving Sri Lanka at age 25. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).

Everything was packed perfectly and nothing was missing. They even provided a cardboard cup holder for the drinks. At the counter, you can take your own cutlery, napkins, candy, and chopsticks. Everyone enjoyed the food. Mine was shrimp panang curry and I also tasted some mango sticky rice, thai iced tea, chicken satay and duck drunken noodles. They do have a smaller lunch portion, but I opted for the regular size which was enough for 2 meals. The panang curry hit the spot and had just the right spice level for me. The mango was perfectly ripe, thai iced tea perfectly sweet, chicken satay was tender and came with 2 sauces. The duck drunken noodles were cooked perfectly and there was a good duck to noodle ratio, but not really spicy. I did notice the restaurant was a bit cold inside, but I got takeout so did not stay to eat. Would love a way to pre-order pickup online - the websites available would only allow delivery ordering. I said my dish was all cabbage.....was told "It's not my problem." I left it all and walked out for good, you can't reason with that level of customer service. If they had described the dish as nothing but cabbage with some chicken I wouldn't have ordered it. Will never return and that's also "not my problem". Disappointed that ran out of hot oil for the day though. Steamed shrimp dumplings were very good, plenty of diced shrimp, very minimal amount of veggies and skins were perfectly cooked and not gummy in texture. The dipping sauce though was really good, rather than a just a tangy vinegar soy sauce dip, they added their own flair with a lot ginger for a more tangy taste,at least they live up to there name, ginger here. Thai special fried rice was mixed, decent amount of shrimp and chicken, the usual green peas and carrots, pineapple was interesting choice as well as green beans. Rice was well seasoned and bounced back forth from savory to sweet in taste. Rice was good, but if had hot oil could been better.

I asked for it to be crispy but the texture was a bit off; it has too much batter. My niece ordered the sushi sashimi and her salmon was oily and slimy; I think. I did not eat it but she didn't eat it neither. When we told the waitress she was very nice and took off that item from the bill. The service was great and the appetizers were good.
