Such was the case for me at 9:30pm on a Tuesday evening, cold and hungry after my workout class. I had recognized The Munchies from Julian Mu's TikTok series, Late Night Bites, and so had hurriedly stepped inside to order some food for the ride home. Even though it was late on a weeknight, the small corner space was bustling, with a line almost to the door. But, the staff moved quickly and efficiently, and I received my order within 10-15 minutes. The menu is quite expansive and offers everything from classic halal cart platters to fish and chips. The portions are extremely generous, especially for the price too and I can definitely see why this is such a popular spot for late night eats. I ordered a lamb and rice platter ($10), which comes with two sides of your choice (I picked hummus and salad). On the weekends they close 4:45 am and before 3am on weekdays. The hot sauce is hot (so you need very little), but the food is well seasoned, fresh, and super filling.
