Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. Regardless, the roast beef (medium) is still tender and juicy, piled on top of a soft and pillowy, freshly made bread that's been dunked in a bath of delicious beef gravy.
