They have a couple of great Bogo free offers. Dropped in for a jerk chicken gyro. Super tasty, not too spicy a touch of sweet and filling. 2 gyros for $16, yes please! Service was quick, but an eat in establishment.

Very short wait for chicken over rice and halal fries. The fries were really good doused in white sauce. I wish there were seats for us to sit and eat; that was the downside. The chicken with the rice had a little kick to it. For those 2 things it was $28.

Good flavor profile for a hungry late night eats. Chicken in our experience was juicy with spicy white sauce which was good. But the chicken nugget was mediocre.

    A lot of food

The service was great they were quick and efficient . I ordered fries with bbq sauce on top with steak bites and fries and tenders on the side. Very great pricing for a great variety of food .

I was super excited to see that they opened up a Halal Bros Grill on Utica Avenue. I finally decided to give them a try after a long day at the museum with my son. When I got in I mentioned to the guy that this was my first time there, what would you recommend and he recommended I get the Jerk Chicken over Rice with their spicy white and spicy dragon sauce with a side salad, and it did not disappoint. I washed it down with a Calypso Paradise Punch Lemonade, and I was indeed a happy camper. The ambience of the place was nice and clean and keep in mind there is no place for you to sit down to eat just to order your food and go :) The staff was awesome and prepared my food with ease. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried them yet and I will definitely be returning to try other dishes on their menu. Happy eating :)

I came here to get food for my son, I already know what he likes I got him the chick and lamb over rice combo with extra white sauce. Fast service store was empty so I didn't have to wait long. I wanted to get myself something but they didn't have any menus only the menu in on the wall high up I can't see because I didn't have on my contacts so I just picked up food for my son which he enjoyed greatly

Kept seeing this place on tik tok so we finally gave it a try. They were already out of mac and cheese at 2pm which was disappointing. Got the jerk chicken over rice and the jerk chicken quesadilla. Quesadilla barely had cheese in it but a lot of chicken. It fell apart pretty easily. Jerk sauce was pretty bland. Jerk chicken was good but I definitely prefer my Caribbean spots. Restaurant is very clean, quick service. No tables to dine in.

Ok this my second time coming here and it was pretty good. I had the chicken over rice with salad. I'm not too big on salad ( I only like Iceberg). Food was pretty good. Service was nice and fast because I was at lunch. I will definitely go again.

This is the only place i know that charges for sauce on the side even if you don't get ANY sauce on the bowl. How is that an EXTRA expense?

Before the main even arrives you're already happy! The pickled vegetables, baba ganoush, cabbage salad and olives kept things exciting from the start. The Steak Shishlik was the real moment though, beautifully charred, tender and served on a metal platter with pickled red onions and sumac tahini. Just really solid, satisfying dish. Drinks were a vibe too. The Pomegranate Cosmo was deep pink, orchid-topped and delicious. The Hot Crush brought a bright kiwi flavor with just enough spice to keep it interesting. And the Brown Sugar Soft Serve with halva oat crumble to finish? Light, a little crunchy and the perfect ending.

Overall, I'd give the experience a 4/5 for the service, atmosphere, views, and overall vibe. If I were rating the food alone, though, I'd say it was good, but not quite mind-blowing. I also have a strong feeling there's probably a noticeable difference between lunch and dinner service, although I can't say for sure. We went with the prix fixe menu. The salatim, hummus, and pita are unlimited, which is a great deal. The hummus was excellent--smooth, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The pita was fresh, warm, and constantly replenished. Among the salatim, I especially enjoyed the fennel and cabbage salad and the cucumber salad. The olive-cornichon mix and the pickled vegetables were good, but didn't stand out as much. For mains, the spicy lamb kofta was very good--well-seasoned, juicy, and served with a generous portion of tahini that was way more than needed. They also bring a small bowl of buttery cilantro rice for the table, which is a thoughtful touch, although honestly the unlimited pita was more than enough. The one disappointment was the brisket dog. We ordered it expecting something special, but it was surprisingly dry. The challah bun completely overwhelmed the sausage, and the cabbage topping plus crispy fried onions didn't add any moisture. The accompanying sauce was tahini-based, so it leaned dry as well instead of balancing everything out. On the bright side, it came with incredibly crispy fries and a delicious house ketchup that tasted much better than a standard bottled ketchup. Dessert was the soft serve, which was perfectly fine but nothing particularly memorable. For drinks, the mango cocktail with chili and lime was refreshing and hard to dislike. I also tried the fig arak drink. It was good and exciting to try, but I realized I'm just not much of a star anise person, so it wasn't really my style. The standout of the night was the restaurant's namesake cocktail, something wolf. Even though it's made with arak, I barely noticed it. The rum, passion fruit, and tropical flavors came together beautifully, making it taste like something you'd happily sip on a beach. Easily my favorite thing I drank that evening. Overall, given so many great restaurants in Brooklyn I might not come back to this but will say that it would be amazing to do a big group meal here - especially with the gorgeous views. Aesthetics on point for sure :)

We tried the mushroom hummus, Zaa'tar fries, chicken shawarma sandwich, and Shakshouka. All of the food was delicious and well-made; I would recommend the mushroom hummus. The best part of the meal was the pita bread that comes with the hummus and also shakshouka. It was some of the best pita I've ever had; it had a nice chewy and soft texture. It came out warm and tasted so fresh. Service: Service was excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They were attentive and constantly came around to fill our water. Ambiance: There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a good size with many tables to accommodate both large and small groups. Seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is nice. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

On a Friday evening, my friend and I came in as walk-ins and got a spot at the bar. The space is a bit tight, but it works if you don't make a reservation ahead of time. I was pretty hungry, and everything we ordered was more than enough food. To start, we had the Whipped Ricotta ($14), Muhammara ($14), and Chicken Shawarma Hummus ($18). Absolutely loved every dip, which were all different in its own ways that I can't even choose a favorite. The ricotta was a sweet one that gave a nice contrast from the savory spices of the other two. I liked how much chicken they added for the hummus too, so you're getting almost a whole meal. You'll definitely need extra pita for all this, which does fill you up. We did also get a Radicchio Salad ($19) for some greens plus a Beef Kofta Skewer ($20) for some meat. Both of these dishes were solid, but could pass on them next time. Definitely recommend any of the mezze and hummus here; it's all you need. This is a really great date spot or group dinner. Perfect to have a drink or two while enjoying some pita and dips mostly.

Unfortunately, what should have been a memorable evening was overshadowed by the behavior of one member of your staff. Our son accidentally booked a communal table instead of a standard table. We didn't realize that until we arrived. After being seated, I politely asked whether one of the available four-person tables might be an option. Another staff member explained the reservation, told us a table would likely open up shortly, and said he would move us when one became available. We appreciated the explanation. A few minutes later, while we were simply sitting at our assigned table drinking water, another employee--who appeared to be a manager or supervisor--approached us in an aggressive tone and said, "Apparently you guys want to move. Then you need to go outside and wait because there's a waitlist." The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational. We didn't argue and simply told him we'd stay where we were. The rest of dinner was enjoyable, and our waitress was excellent. She made great recommendations and provided warm, attentive service. Unfortunately, another incident occurred at the end of the meal. I had ordered the fish as one of my entrées. Everyone else at the table had finished eating while I was still waiting. When I asked our waitress about it, she apologized and said it was being plated. After waiting another 10 minutes--with it now around 10:15 PM--we asked if the order could simply be canceled since it had already been 20-25 minutes. She agreed, but then returned and explained that the same employee had instructed her to tell us it would still be coming. He then came to our table and, in a rude and dismissive manner, told us that "the fish normally takes 10-15 minutes." That explanation made no sense given that we had already waited well beyond that time. We weren't rushing the kitchen--we had patiently waited over 20 minutes after everyone else had finished eating. As we left, my children commented that the interactions made them feel like we were being treated differently because of our race. I sincerely hope that wasn't the case. I want to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and believe this was the conduct of one individual rather than a reflection of Miss Alda as a whole. However, the behavior was significant enough that it changed what should have been a special family celebration. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and respected. Unfortunately, this employee did the exact opposite. He appeared to be a white gentleman with a mustache, wearing a green shirt and a hat on the evening of our visit. I don't know his name, but management should know who he is. To anyone planning to visit Miss Alda, I hope your experience is better than ours. The food and our waitress deserved praise, but the conduct of this employee left us questioning whether we were treated fairly. That is not how anyone should feel when celebrating an important family milestone.

Unfortunately, because of a slow night, they didn't have their full bar setup, and we're only serving beer and wine. So, I put my Yelp expert hat on and looked up nearby places with mezcal cocktails, and discovered this place. The food and drink menus for this place immediately reminded me of La Shukran and similar restaurants in DC, and I couldn't help but wonder if they were under the same umbrella. Turns out they aren't. They had a fantastic hip hop playlist going for their last hour of the night. Dozens of records were on display on shelves, and the staff were really cool behind the bar. I had the Lavashak sour and the Turkish Delight cocktails... Both had really unique flavors and less common elements like apricot, saffron, pomegranate, pistachio... And my sisters drinks were great too! The food looked delicious, although neither of us were hungry. I would be eager to return and give everything a try. The vibes were nothing short of immaculate!
