The chopped cheese here is fire - one of the best I've ever had. The ones closer to me are small, so I also ordered wings. Def not needed - the sandwiches here are good size. Got the spicy cheesesteak with American cheese and I can't remember ever having a better cheesesteak in all my 45 years of vigorous cheesesteak consumption. The peppers, bread, aioli, horseradish and perfectly seasoned beef all come together to make a flavor that's pretty much perfect. Our favorite is their OG Chopped Cheese, it's loaded with steak burger, melted cheddar, cooked onions, and surprisingly the romaine lettuce pairs the sandwich so well on their garlic bread! I tried this spot through my invitation for a Yelp Community Event. I stopped by on a Wednesday evening and the place was empty, but they were prepping a big Ubereats order. The lady who took my order was nice. I got a spicy beef cheesesteak on brioche as a complimentary meal courtesy of the Yelp event but I decided to also order the OG crispy chicken sandwich, a spicy chicken sandwich, and fries as well. The cheesesteak was on three brioche buns, which was interesting. Maybe getting it on a roll would've been better and bigger. The beef itself wasn't that flavorful but the red peppers made it spicy. The chicken sandwiches were only okay... the chicken patty wasn't impressive but the red peppers and jalapeños they add to make it spicy saved the sandwich -- it added depth and extra flavor. I also liked the pickled/sourness of the peppers. Honestly, this place is called Beef and Cheese, so it probably wasn't the best idea to get chicken sandwiches from here. The fries were good... I like the seasoning they used. I also got garlic aioli and Buffalo sauce with the order. I really like the garlic aioli -- it was light and buttery. The store is pretty small and not meant for dine-in. They get mostly takeout/delivery orders. It's a quirky place with funny signs around. Overall, I thought this place was pretty pricey and the portions were only standard. I would like to try the chopped cheese next time though. read more

The smash burger is awesome ! It can compete with some of these chain burger spots. I tried the chicken sandwich also. I thought it would be over rated but no. Not at all. Both the sandwich and burger were juicy. You just have to request lettuce and tomatoes if you want that in your burger. The chicken sandwich automatically has it. Disappointed. But, maybe it's my fault. Read the reviews and decided to place a pick up order from here. Was definitely trying the chop cheese sandwich but when I went to order, I was looking at the pics from the business owner here on Yelp and decided to order the spicy chicken sandwich and the OG chicken sandwich. I was very disappointed after I picked up my order and discovered that the chicken sandwiches were complied of two chicken strips that taste like they were originally frozen so not even fresh strips. The pics clearly show either a chicken breast or chicken thigh sandwich. Usually when places use chicken strips for anything they note it. And the only difference between the sandwiches was that they added two jalapeños and three small red peppers on the sandwich. The strips alone lacked in taste. Now the chopped cheese was flavorful but it was spread over three Hawaiian rolls instead of hoagie bread and also did not look as pictured. Like I said probably my fault getting a chicken sandwich at a place clearly named after what they are good for. I think the business owner needs to take their pics down seeing as it does not look like the actual product. read more

Finally, I decided to give this place a try after seeing multiple videos of this place on social media. It's truly a little hidden gem in the mill basin area of Brooklyn. Now, onto the restaurant itself. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner. This place has a small little area that can accommodate a maximum of 2-3 people to sit and eat. Everything on the menu sounded good. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger, sweet chili wings, chopped cheese sandwich, onion rings, and French fries. Chopped cheese was bursting with flavors and cheesy. I liked how we have the option to have the chopped cheese on a hero or as sliders. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious. I loved the onion rings they were nice and crispy, and the coating had a nice flavor to it. Don't forget the onion ring sauce. It compliments the onion ring very well. French fries were nice and crispy and very tasty with their seasoning. Sweet chili wings were delicious. Wings were nice and crispy with just the right amount of sweet chili sauce on it. The wings were glistening. We stood talking to the owner while our food was being made. The owner is a super nice guy. He even gave us free pizza to try, which was delicious. This place takes pride in the food they are putting out. Don't forget to order a mini cheesecake to go with your order. They are delicious.
