The service was okay - it was obvious the server was brand new/still in training so I'm sure he'll get better and congrats to him on the new job! Btw, in case you were wondering this place is NOT Vietnamese-owned, or at least the server + the host + some workers in the back were not, or perhaps they're trilingual. In any case, I was a little sad about that because there really is a lack of good Viet food in NY so although other ethnicities are more than welcome to own places not of their own ethnicities, I was just hoping to find more Viet-owned Viet food businesses. That being said, I got pho bo vien (which I suppose now I know why there's no Vietnamese text on the menu... so this is the viet meatball pho??) and it was okay. Nothing bad, nothing special, probably a bit too pricey for what you get. I was hoping for some comfort food since this location is nearby. The broth was overall fine after adding some hoisin sauce and Sriracha. Unsure if I'll come again... the convenient location for me is probably the main selling point

This location perfectly captures why I like Chick-fil-A and why it's one of my favorite chicken joints, especially among national chains. Back in 2015, I didn't go to Manhattan often since I wasn't working or had any reason to be there. But by 2018, I started frequenting--or at least becoming aware of--this location near the Barclays Center, and I've never had any issues. This Chick-fil-A does an excellent job of managing crowds while maintaining quality food. I've never experienced a mishap with my order, and I appreciate the staff's efficiency. This was one of the first locations I noticed using the tablet ordering system, which helps avoid the usual bottleneck at the counter from indecisive customers. The team is always eager to take your order, and they were ahead of the curve when it came to mobile ordering, which can sometimes be a hassle at other places. In terms of atmosphere, this spot gets a lively crowd, often from people coming from Nets games or events in downtown Brooklyn, Flatbush Ave. Whether you're grabbing a bite after the game or, let's be honest, sneaking food in, this Chick-fil-A is one of the best you'll find in the area.

Our first experience included these dishes: Beef lo mein : a little drier than other lo meins I've had (less saucy) but it was good Kung Pao chicken: very good and flavorful. Had a good kick though not as spicy as you would likely get in Chinatown. I wish there were more peanuts. Orange chicken: very flavorful. Normally at other places this meat is fatty and chewy but it's not the case here. And the next day if you eat cold , you really get the orange flavor! Chicken wings: average Chinese restaurant wings. We loved reliving the flavor as leftovers. The small portions of each gave us 3 meals' worth (2 of us eating). We don't have at giant portions which is likely why we were able to make it last. Cash only. We will be back.

It got there about 15 minutes before closing time but the place didnt look like it was about to close any time soon. Packed with people picking up and ordering. Probably why the young guy at the counter was in less than cheerful mood lol. They give you a number ticket when you order and you listen out for when they call it. You can also place an order for pickup and pay when you get there. I just got the standard fried rice and chicken wings as well as chicken wings and fries. Food wasn't salty as other Chinese food spots but it was tasty and fresh. (No old oil taste) .

I went on a Friday evening around 9:30pm. It was still fairly busy inside, but it was mostly people grabbing to-go orders. After ordering I snagged a spot at the counter. There's extremely limited seating, so I wouldn't bank on eating at the restaurant when it's busy. Be prepared to take your food to go. I got the Nene's Deluxe, which comes with a taco, a mulita, and an empanada - all with Birria of course. It was all delicious. The mulita was at the bottom of the box and got completely soaked with Birria. It was extremely messy to eat. Get plenty of napkins. I also got a side of fries and nacho cheese, because it was a long week and I deserved it. They had a seasonal strawberry horchata as well. This was okay. I also think I might just not love horchata in general. This meal definitely hit the spot. The Birria and consommé were top notch. I would return in a heartbeat.

The empanada was not like the usual closed off empanada, it was like open like a taco but instead of a taco shell, it was like the empanada dough. I didn't try the mulita yet but it was huge. Filling between two tortillas and I saw some guac filling as well. The consome was good! Not too salty - and has general pieces of meat inside the soup. The tacos were good but I felt like it lacked a little depth. I added some of the mango(?) it was a sweetish salsa and that gave it a nice little kick.
