I've been meaning to review this Chick-fil-A, and it just hit me that this was actually my first introduction to the franchise when it was expanding into Brooklyn about 10 years ago. This location perfectly captures why I like Chick-fil-A and why it's one of my favorite chicken joints, especially among national chains. Back in 2015, I didn't go to Manhattan often since I wasn't working or had any reason to be there. But by 2018, I started frequenting--or at least becoming aware of--this location near the Barclays Center, and I've never had any issues. This Chick-fil-A does an excellent job of managing crowds while maintaining quality food. I've never experienced a mishap with my order, and I appreciate the staff's efficiency. This was one of the first locations I noticed using the tablet ordering system, which helps avoid the usual bottleneck at the counter from indecisive customers. The team is always eager to take your order, and they were ahead of the curve when it came to mobile ordering, which can sometimes be a hassle at other places. In terms of atmosphere, this spot gets a lively crowd, often from people coming from Nets games or events in downtown Brooklyn, Flatbush Ave. Whether you're grabbing a bite after the game or, let's be honest, sneaking food in, this Chick-fil-A is one of the best you'll find in the area. read more

This Chick-fil-A is right next to Barclay's stadium and was just as quick and clean as most Chick-fil-A's. I'm not eating gluten right now and they have some of the best gluten free fast food options. You can't take it with you into the stadium but it's a close-enough option. This Chick-Fil-A is actually on Atlantic avenue can't find the location here. Usually I get my food from Jersey or upstate even though I live in New York the quality in fast food is better. Anyways, decided to give this one a try and everything was good. Service was quick and fast and the restaurant was CLEAN. I really think "great" fast food depends on the people you hire. I order from this location often, directly through the chick fil an app. Every single time my order is wrong or missing something. I placed an ordered this weekend and sent my husband to pick it up. We were missing a salad, a milkshake, and an order of fries. I called the location over and over again that evening and the next morning to try and speak to a manager for at least a credit on the missing items and was not able to get through. I left a message on the machine and I have still not heard back from anyone. We live about 30 minutes away from this location so it's not easy for us to drive back when something is wrong. Unfortunately it is the closest one to us. They could honestly do so much better than they are. It's really disappointing. We love Chick-fil-A but we won't be able to keep coming here if I am literally throwing my money away. We went here after a weekday afternoon show at Barclays Center. It's right outside Barclays next to Shake Shack. There was a long line all the way from counter to the door, which may due to the show finishing. No menu available at door. No QR coded menu. I'm not a regular and really don't know what to order. Two staffs were working the line with an ipad to preorder for you while you still standing in line. That helped the line to move fast. Once you reach the cashier, they retrieve your order from the computer, you pay and your order was almost ready and handed to you. Seating spaces was limited. I didn't see any cleaning staff wiping tables. Basically do it yourself. Before I left, I did see a staff sweeping the f I'm happy with the kids meal. $7 something include chicken nuggets or strips, icecream, fries and chocolate milk and a book ( toy). There's nothing negative to say about this heaven on Earth establishment! The customer service here is exceptional in terms of speedines, accuracy of your order, and overall kindness. Yes this place is pricey, however, it is well worth it as far as the quality of your meal is concerned. There are open during the COVID crisis for takeout, however, UBER eats is not an option unfortunately. Glass protection/barriers has been installed between the customer and cashier. First time having their sandwich, Went there many times but the line were to long, so I would normally go to Popeyes. I ordered the spicy chicken deluxe, I was actually surprised for how good this actually tasted. The fries was a bit under cooked, but with the crack sauce it was bomb. I came here a day after they had their grand opening. I've been back a couple of times after this as well. The service is too notch as this location. The lines are long but it moves quickly I would say no more than 10 minutes from the door to the register. They have employees there to take your order while you're on line and then you give your name at the register and pay and receive your meal. I've dined in as well and it was fine fast food restaurant dining as far as the service goes. I don't know how long they will keep this up. Since this is extremely exceptional servicefor Chick-fil-A. Fast food fried chicken and comfort food cravings can be satisfied at this corner because it neighbors a shake shack (although i find chick-fil-A to be much more satisfying) Overall the service is par. They have a separate door and line for pick up orders and walk in guests. The place is very clean, and a kit of standing room but seats are limited. This spot being the sole location in Brooklyn is always crowded. The location doesn't make parking to retrieve your order very easy being on Flatbush Ave across from Barclay Center. We have used the mobile app with excellent success and minimizing waiting times. Consider using it when placing your order. Now the food has always been consistently delicious and hot and we order the classics. Chicken sandwich, spicy chicken, waffle fries and Mac and cheese. The workers here deserve a pay raise. This is the heart of Brooklyn during a pandemic. Everyone greets you like an actual human being and the level of respect is shared throughout. I know, I know. I shouldn't be supporting Chick-fil-A. But I had a $10 meal credit to use, and struck out so many times trying to get the Popeyes sandwich. I've only ever been to one other Chick-fil-A, but it's not exaggeration to say this new one is the worst one ever. Mobile order pickup is a shitshow, especially with the Doordash guys crowding the pickup counter trying to get people's attention. There's a kiosk at the front that you can use to tell them you're there, but it's only if you use the app. So me and a few other non-delivery people were waiting a long ass time for our orders. All the while, the people behind the register are just yelling out customer names at the top of their lungs. And for some reason, a manager(?) decided rush hour was the best time to train/admonish some of the staff. The place is also full of high school kids. That said, the food is also trash. Not at all the great chicken sandwich I remember. And the waffle fries were soggy and not crisp at all. And they didn't honor my request for extra sauce that I wrote in on the pickup notes. Of course, if you go up to the counter and ask, they'll give you all the sauces in the world free of charge, but they had taped up my bag and I was just trying to get the hell out of there. I have been contemplating on whether the wait on a long line was really worth it. I went with a friend who was very inpatient and didn't think it was worth it to stand on a long line to wait for a sandwich. After a long 15 minute wait I finally got to the counter to order a spicy chicken sandwich and a small strawberry milkshake . My plan was to take it home but I was to anxious to taste and see what it was like much to my disappointment I didn't like the sandwich, the bun was very greasy and the chicken salty although crunch but I couldn't finish it. It was actually my first job working at a Chick-fil-a and I'll always feel some sort of way towards it. I mean have you tried their waffle fries?! I was so excited to hear one was coming to Brooklyn and close to where I live! Ugh so hard to resist. Whenever I go home to the south it's always a place I go because I know the service and food are so good. This place does a pretty good job of keeping up. I will say I've gone a couple times now and the line is always out the door, which isn't a bad thing but be prepared to wait. They're pretty good at taking your order in line and moving the orders through so by the time you get to the front your food is pretty much ready. I will say it'd be nicer if there was more seating, instead of standing spots. I guess this is the NY lay out for Chik-Fil-As since the ones in the city are the same. So be prepared to take to-go because seats are never open. The staff for the most part have always been super fast and friendly but it's what you can expect from primarily high school aged employees. I love getting a #7 grilled chicken sandwich w/ bacon, lettuce, cheese and tomato that comes with fries and a coke. Can't go wrong there or go for the classic chicken sandwich. THIS PLACE IS GROSS, OVERRATED, OVERPRICED! First, you have to get past the THREE DOZEN scooter delivery guys that use this location as a waiting area and park out front on the sidewalk blocking the street and narrow entrance. There's a "pre-order" employee that services the line but it doesn't seem to help much because once you reach checkout it's a whole new level of chaos from orders that weren't entered properly, to items missing from your order, to people that didn't get their orders processed at all! I will never visit this chick fil a again. This is just like any other McDonald's in Brooklyn. Horrible! Horrible service, horrible staff! It's super unorganized to be next to a sports stadium. They're so busy trying to get people off the line, they don't check to make sure they have the right order down. The chick fil a in manhattan are so much better. So I wanted to see what the rave was about at Chick-fil-A since I happen to be in the area. Tried online ordering through my app I just downloaded and that was an absolute fail. No worries. I kindly went inside and I was greeted at the door. (True Story) then escorted to the manager. Ok I went into the wrong entrance and the wrong ramp. However, all staff were still kind and friendly, including the manager. sorry forgot his name but he was absolutely friendly and he still honored my online order with accommodations. I was even able to get my rewards brownie. Yes it was yummy and delicious. The chicken and fries at Chick Fil A speak themselves hence they are always packed no matter the location. But good customer service is hard to come by in Brooklyn, New York sometimes on a Saturday during this pandemic . So that was well appreciated. I am not sure if this is the everyday operations for this location, being across from the Barclay's Center, but it is a bit hectic. There is no parking and the risk you take parking out front come with its own set of issues. The process of picking up orders from the app are very different, its the same as walking in: go check-in and wait outside between 15-25 minutes. Everyone is spread out as best as they can outside telling the workers your name. Then eventually you are called and they hand you food at the exit. The taste is good as any other location but I was not comfortable with the crowded waiting. Maybe there should be a better process/waiting area for the app orders. read more
