    tofu taco and mushroom taco
    N T.

Staff completely ignored me--I had to get up to grab my own menu. Food came out promptly. I had to pester the staff for the check as they ignored me after dropping off the order. I was one of two tables seated, the other was a table of two. There was no excuse for the poor service, the employees were just hanging out behind the counter. got a tofu taco and mushroom taco, they were good.

    Grilled Steak Quesadilla very tasty

Food was great and service superb. I Always visit when in the area. The quesadilla was very delicious

We ordered a super macho nacho with grilled chicken between two people to share. I will say the grilled chicken was pretty good, and I felt like they gave a fair share of grill chicken. I wasn't the biggest fan of their tortilla chips. The chips they gave us were actually little stale. We also ordered for here, but it was given in a to go container and thus a lot of the chips and toppings got a little soggy. There's a few seats for dining in at the restaurant but it seems like it this restaurant would have been better as a quick take out spot

Today I was in a Park Slope mood and decided on another gorgeous fall day to walk around the neighborhood and soak it up. I was also in a taco mood thus , Yelp suggested some good ideas especially for places that offered lunch specials: Miti Miti offered but sounded like too much food as my appetite really wanted snack. I'll have to visit them in the future. Gueros on Prospect wasn't opened til 5 so that was ruled our. Nacho Macho appeared and I checked the photos and reviews and decided to give it a try. So, as you can see by my rating they garnered two stars. So let's talk about what they got right first: 1. Extensive menu options. 2. Out door seating was comfy 3. Lunch specials are a good value: chips and salsa, can of soda and two tacos.... Which leads me to their opportunities: 1. Posting pricing on social media should be reviewed and updated consistently. Thus, the lunch specials are not $10 but $11.25 plus tax 2. Post signs in your restaurant that states prices vary by selection: I selected shrimp tacos for the special and was told seventy five cents extra. Hmmm.. Which brought my total to $13 but there is a three taco special for $13.... 3.. if one is dining in or out, putting chips in a paper bag with side salsa really isn't the way to go. The bag got greasy and I don't want to sound uppity but the chips could have been placed in a small basket. Now for the food: Chips and salsa were good, the salsa had a really nice kick. The shrimp tacos were bland and I really was disappointed, no sauce no kick.. the size of the shrimp were nice. No straw for can of soda?? If it's bussing my own table state it. Well, Miti Miti for $19 lunch special and more food would have probably been a better choice.

This review is based on the $8.50 bootleg tres leches cake. Go somewhere else. It's not spongey, it's very frozen, and I swear it has no condensed milk in it.

Best value for money and double the quantity and twin bread at Brooklyn. I thought Los Tacos No. 1 was the best but the tacos dinner last night was awesome with the service, food and drinks at Nacho Macho Taco at Brooklyn

Excellent Steak Burrito with the trimmings !

Ten stars for their steak taco . (I added guacamole and some jalapeños in addition to the basics ) . The steak was extremely tender and a subtle gravy saturated the entire burrito adding some extra flavor. The rice and black beans were also very fresh and seasoned to perfection creating a perfect texture . As for the burrito wrap itself, mmmmm it was soft , non chewy and even oddly glistened abit for the added visuals . The restaurant is enough to sit about 8-10 people and is relatively chill. I might make this my go to Mexican spot when in Brooklyn .

Oh how I love a good restaurant that serves great authentic mexican food. I came upon this place while visiting another place to eat and decided to come back and give them a try. Well that day have arrived and i was in the mood for some nachos and lots of tacos. I took my friend along for this experience because we both love anything pertaining to Mexican food. Although the covid restrictions and still in tack we decided to sit outside to eat instead because its was a beautiful day and the weather was nicer side that day. Nacho macho is quite small but seemed very cozy we got there and decided right way what we wanted to eat so we got the Loaded nachos with steak , chicken quesadillas, three tacos chicken, steak and fish and the mexican corn. While waiting for our food we got complimentary chips and salsa which was quite good the chips were very crunchy and fresh. Our food started arriving right away i couldn't wait to dive in the nachos were absolutely delicious and definitely loaded a must try will be coming back for more. I only had a chance to eat the fish taco which was delish and the corn was a sweet sensation in the mouth . Everything was so good i am definitely coming back for the loaded nachos.

Grilled Chicken Torta (no smashed beans)

I used to come here nightly but I haven't visited this location ever since I stopped working in the neighborhood. So yesterday's the first time back in roughly 2 years. Still haven't changed my order. I got the Grilled Chicken Torta, with chipotle sauce and no smashed beans, and split half with my sister. The torta is as tasty and as fulfilling as I remember and it reminded me of why I love this place so much. The chicken is well seasoned and packed with flavor and the entire torta, from the tomatoes down to the avocado, just tastes so fresh. I can only attest to the Grilled Chicken Torta (and well, the nachos), but it really is so darn delicious. Give this place a try, I assure you won't regret it. Will definitely be visiting this restaurant more frequently in the future!

What a cute spot for some Mexican food! Good music and vibes and tacos! My husband and I came here on a Saturday night we ordered fish and stew chicken tacos and a cheese quesadilla. It all tasted so good!!! And the sizing was just right for the both of us! The atmosphere is very casual and breezy, they have high chairs for you to sit on and TV on for you to catch your favourite game on. When you get there simply walk up to the cashier place your order, be sure to grab your seat (once eating in) and they would bring it for you. Oh! There's also different pepper and sauces for you to choose from and accompany your meal! Would definitely definitely be back again!

Why havent I discovered you sooner ? Affordable food and fast efficient delivery. Everything from the fish tacos, to chicken tacos and beef tacos and their chicken bowl is amazing . Minus the sour cream and cheese that is. They're kind of cheap w the sauce packets. Like 1 packet of sauce for 2 tacos. LOL really?

Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but we arrived early and Alejandra, the hostess, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Even though she was ready to seat us, we decided to hang at the bar until the rest of our party arrived and that was the perfect move. Alkarys behind the bar was top-tier. She recommended the Siempre Reposado, and let me tell you... smooth, clean, dangerously good. If you're into tequila, that's a must. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered the quesadilla, rajas, tamales, tacos, and the queso fundido and every single dish hit. The queso fundido came out bubbling, rich, perfectly melted with that pull you want when you scoop it up. The tamales were moist and packed with flavor, wrapped beautifully and clearly made with care. The rajas had that perfect balance of roasted pepper sweetness and savory depth. The tacos? Authentic, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor, no shortcuts. Even the quesadilla stood out, crispy on the outside with that perfectly melted interior. Everything felt traditional, elevated but still true to its roots. You can taste the authenticity. Service was attentive without being overbearing, the ambiance was super casual and laid back, the kind of Brooklyn spot you pull up to for a real dinner experience, not just a quick bite. Highly recommend this place if you're out and about in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back for the tequila, the queso fundido, and round two of those tacos. I'm gonna try eating at the bar to check out the spot in the front of the house.

I'm genuinely in love with this place -- everything tastes homemade because it truly is. They have amazing weekly specials, too: * Happy Hour on Mondays ALL DAY with classic margaritas for only $10 (so good!) * Tecate Tuesday, perfect if you love an easy, chilled beer * And my absolute favorite: the Carnitas Combo -- tender, flavorful pulled pork that hits every time, available any day of the week. If you're vegetarian or avoid dairy, the Vegetable Burrito is incredible. It's hearty, packed with flavor, and wrapped in their house-made corn tortilla, which makes all the difference. Don't skip the chips -- with a scoop of guacamole on top of the warm chips. Heaven. Brunch here is another level: * Their chilaquiles are comforting and perfectly seasoned * And the eggs with steak is such a satisfying combo The cocktails are unreal -- especially their signature pineapple spicy cocktail. Truly one of the best I've had. Overall, Taqueria Milear is one of those rare spots where everything feels thoughtful, homemade, and delicious. I can't recommend it enough!

AMBIANCE: Walking to the restaurant from the subway, it's located on an unassuming block at the corner of 4th St and Havemeyer in Williamsburg, front of store doesn't particularly stand out. Walking in they've decorated with creative, crafty (in a good way) touches--the multitude of ropes draped from the ceiling add dimension to the ceiling and the bar back wall is composed of wood pieces forming a multi-colored herringbone pattern. Textured glass pendant lights hanging from the ceiling throw mini geometric patterns across the dark walls, and vibrant canvas artworks add pictorial interest along the walls. FOOD: YUM. I can see why this place was jam packed on a Saturday night, and reservations are needed. Strong recommendation for their tasting menu at $58 pp, what a delightful meal! 8 sharing dishes and 3 desserts were perfect for a party of five, and drinks are separate though you can add a cocktail pairing for $47. For each main they provide a serving per person, and the desserts are shared. I came hungry and was so full by the end of the meal--everything was delicious! - grapefruit guacamole w/house-made chips: the grapefruit chunks were "meaty" and surprisingly went really well with the guac, it added a different citrus element than the usual lime. Comes with a small bowl of maybe 6-7 chips and we asked for two chips refills since the chips to guac and salsa ratio was low. - spicy faroe islands' salmon tartar: tasty and I liked the latin flavors and corn, snow peas, a touch of wasabi. Flavors of the sesame-soy-truffle-lemon vin and crema got a little muddled. Relatively more "generic" dish of the evening though I was here for it! Any dish with fresh tender salmon, I can't complain. - blue crab and carrot tostada, generous shredded crab salad on top of freshly crisp blue corn tortilla. Topped with pumpkin seeds, dill, cilantro, and saffron-orange aioli. - three cheese & artichoke 'queso fundido': served in a very hot ceramic pot and super melty and delicious, eaten with the fluffy grilled pita and green apple slices + salsa. One of the top picks of the evening. - roasted bone marrow and chorizo, served as tacos with fresh blue corn tortillas, and added a sprinkle of pickled onions--does that sound amazing? Bc it was AAHMAZING. - spicy chipotle-guajillo shimp 'diablo' (not spicy): served with pumpkin tortillas and three accompaniments on the side--mushroom chile crisp, horseradish crema, celery 'salsa macha". Part 2 to make your own tacos was another hit! Our entire table agreed if they sold the sauce for the shrimp we'd all buy it. - heritage pork osso bucco 'carnitas' with Fall-spiced black mole, sour cherry mostardo, calabrian chile pesto: cue drooling now. This part 3 of the tacos was served on pumpkin tortillas; the meat was practically falling off the bone, tender, juicy and flavorful. - buffalo-style com 'elote: sooo good too! A little messier to eat since it comes drizzled with spicy hot sauce butter, feta, lime aioli, cilantro, though totally worth it! - Desserts: --green tea matcha churros: comes with two little pots of spiced mexican chocolate & passion fruit sauce. Warm, sugary and crisp without being too sweet. --pumpkin spiced-vanilla flan: topped with sour cherries, cocoa nibs & toasted seed 'trail mix", if you love flan you'll love this, so smooth and creamy with a bit of crunch and tang from the cherries. --pistachio tres leches cake with cream cheese frosting, raspberry, using an olive oil cake: we all agreed this was probably the best tres leches we've ever had. The pistachio nuttiness and the creaminess from the milks paired well. SERVICE: Very friendly and attentive service though it was very loud in the restaurant and they had to really shout. There was a delay in the middle of our meal I think bc kitchen was slammed, after the entree we waited about 35 min for our desserts. Considering they limited the seating to 2 hours and about half of our party arrived 20 min late, and accounting for the long wait pre-dessert, they did us solid by extending our table time by about an hour in total. Also great that they brought the first dessert out with a candle for my friend's birthday.
