I got the Super Grande Nachos ($14.99) without the beans. Although it doesn't come with protein, it had cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and a scoop of guacamole. I ordered delivery to my job downtown Brooklyn. Delivery is super fast. Tacos were still nice and hot. I ordered a grilled steak taco and a al pastor taco. I ordered a side of guacamole and chips. I like that the steak tacos come with grilled onions on it. The steak is well seasoned. The al pastor taco is my favorite. The pork is very tender and flavorful. The guacamole always tastes good. It's nice and fresh. The only thing I would suggest is for them not to put shredded lettuce in the tacos. It just takes away from the flavor of the meats. We ordered from here for work. We ordered the grilled chicken asada burritos. Perfectly grilled chicken with black beans, rice, fresh plum tomato salsa, and melted jack cheese. We had it on a nice and soft tortilla. We had them add guacamole to it. It was an amazing burrito. The ingredients were fresh and had a hint of spice. Still the best *seared* fish tacos in Brooklyn! There are a few places similar to Fatty Daddy that do nearly an identical taco, but none of them are as good. Fatty Daddy really packs the fish in and never skimps... some other taquerias are much lighter on the fish. Fatty Daddy also makes the most amazing chipotle mayo, and again - doesn't skimp! I spend a fair amount of time at bars on Smith Street. Mostly because (1) I live right off Smith Street, and (2) I like to drink alcohol. Fatty Daddy is conveniently located directly between the bars I spend my time and my home where I unfortunately do not have hot and tasty burritos waiting for me. Now I can't prove that Fatty Daddy scouted me out before opening their second location right here, but if my suspicions are correct, it was a brilliant business plan...because when I am stumbling home from a bar at an embarrassingly early hour, chances are I will need to shovel something into my fat face. Fatty Daddy provides the fatty, cheesy, unhealthily loaded and greasy gutbomb I need in either burrito or quesadilla form, and they are extremely efficient. When they are on their game, not only can you be walking out their door with your burrito in under 10 minutes (that's if you didn't have the drunken foresight to order ahead of time as you leave the bar), but they will put your sour cream and guac inside the quesadilla itself, which is really just a more efficient way to get all this fat into daddy's mouth. Plus, if you (just a for-instance here) want to hide the fact that you stuffed an entire burrito into your face from your wife, you can probably eat it on the walk home...but not if you have to apply guacamole and sour cream to your food as you go. ____________ Unrelated thought: I would like to propose we give beans a new nickname. I got the Al Pastor burrito and it was amazing! Comes with a soda/bottle of water as well (not listed on menu so it was a nice surprise!) My friends got a steak quesadilla and chicken burrito and both loved their food. I will start off saying when they say Fatty they are not exaggerating! I ordered takeout not too long ago and ordered the Fatty Shrimp burrito. The burrito was huge, so huge it was almost intimidating to eat. The burrito had so much going on I wasn't able to fully enjoy the flavor of the burrito. My takeout experience was my first for Fatty Daddy Taco and I'm not sure if I would travel to this location to return. One thing I really dislike are their delivery guys they are rude and inconsiderate. They think that I am waiting at the door for their deliveries. The office that I work for is on the 18th floor and as a nurse I am always busy running around, I can't just drop everything because they can't wait 5 minutes. I'm always on the lookout for good tacos. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to keep looking. I ordered three tacos and they all had something off about them. The chorizo was WAY too salty. The al pastor was not really al pastor, as it didn't have the typical accoutrements (in fact, they dress all their tacos the same), and didn't taste like it ever touched a flame. The spicy stewed chicken was the best of the three, but I've had better spicy chicken tacos. While visiting Brooklyn on a work trip I decided to try out Fatty Daddy Taco for delivery. I had had a very long day, I'm talking 12+ hours of work, so by the time I made it back to my hotel I couldn't imagine going out for dinner. I posted up and checked Yelp for delivery options. Mexican food sounded good, so I decided to give Fatty Daddy a shot. I opted for the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla, Chips and Guacamole, and Babe's Rice and Beans with Cheese. My delivery was on time, and my food was hot when it arrived. As far as flavor, I thought everything was ok. Nothing was bad, but this definitely wasn't my favorite Mexican takeout experience. Three words: chorizo burrito bowl Five more: make it a fatty daddy I am at the point now where I need to employ some SERIOUS self control when having a lazy Sunday (or lazy [insert day of the week here]) at home and I'm craving mexican. Living in New York, you can't swing a cat without hitting one Mexican restaurant or another. When done right, Mexican food is that all-in-one delicious, comforting, refreshing, and zesty meal that leaves you wanting more. BUT, the one objection I have with Mexican restaurants in our fair city is that almost ALL of them skimp on the toppings!! ...not Fatty Daddy My go-to is: chorizo burrito, make it a bowl, make it a Fatty Daddy with DOUBLE MEAT. Guys. It's so good. So filling. So comforting. ALL flavour, no shortages of anything. My ONE critique of the dishes that contain chorizo is that it gets VERY oily. I fully acknowledge that chorizo is a very oily product, and that delicious fatty spicy flavour is all in the oil. However, on occasion I've had to scoop out the excess oil with a proper soup spoon to avoid it soaking through the takeout bowl. My recco would be to drain the chorizo a little more vigorously before adding to the dishes. Otherwise, Fatty Daddy, you have my heart (and my belly). Keep on keepin' on. read more

Taco spot that has some banging tacos.Probably the best tacos within the area. I usually get the chicken and fish tacos. Both are flavorful and packed in. They definitely don't skimp on ingredients. If you're in the area, especially during lunchtime, pop in and take advantage of their lunch special and grab some tacos or any of their other offerings. Their customer service could use some work. It's a hit or miss and it all depends on who's working the front during that time. On one of my visits, I ordered a side of guac and was assured it was in the bag. We spent many many nights ordering over the years from Fatty Daddy's Smith Street location. While we were always happy with the flavors and food. I do not know what has happened in the past year. Twice this year we had cold burritos from them. The first time we chalked up to an off night but there was not excuse the second time. On another topic, they have a woman working behind the order counter. She seems a bit off but the last encounter was just really weird and uncomfortable. She was rude to me, rude. to a customer wanting to make idle banter, she complained about the long hours she worked, and then was telling a different customer he couldn't have his burrito that he was sharing cut in half in the kitchen. I was on the hunt for churros, I didn't find any here but what I did find was delicious tacos from Fatty Daddy Taco. The menu is small, so is the space, but the flavors were bold and delicious. We tried almost every taco on the menu (it's a small menu ok), our favorite was definitely the grilled fish taco. These are not your small little taco truck bites, they're bigger in size and comes with salad toppings outside of cilantro like you would find in traditional spots. Usually when I visit a taco place I'm pretty indifferent about their food. Usually it's pretty much similar tasting and I can't even remember the last time I had exceptional food from a place similar to this. This was that one exceptional place. I had a steak burrito and my friend ordered 3 different tacos. The burrito was GIGANTIC. I don't even know how they rolled that thing up. It wasn't just the size that impressed me, it was really the flavors that I was blown away by. The tacos were just on point, especially the fish taco. The chips and guac were no different. Definitely top 3 guacs I've ever had. Super fast service, friendly and welcoming staff. Absolutely recommend this place to others and I will continue to revisit. read more

I don't usually like flour tortillas, but these probably had a good amount of butter in them, so they were flaky and crispy, and remained equally delicious the next day when I had leftovers for breakfast. I don't know what they put in it, but I could probably eat those quesadillas every day.
