We grabbed the mangosa and the classic mimosa, would definitely recommend the mangosa if you prefer a sweeter drink and the mimosa if you prefer a more champagney drink. For food, we ordered the eggs benedict and the pure omelette. Eggs Benedict: Perfectly poached eggs! Tasted great. Best burger ever. Had the jack burger (pepper jack cheese, jalapenos & chipotle aioli) and it was delicious and succulent. It was a simple burger but it was packed with flavor. Came with a side salad and pickle. Only complaint I have is that this was served on a multi grain bun and it was a little hard when I bit into it. Definitely caught me by surprise on how good this burger was, especially since this isn't a restaurant that specializes in burgers. Very friendly staff and simple modern decor. I got a simple breakfast: 2 eggs sunny side up with a side of turkey bacon. It came with sweet potato home fries and toast. I also got a latte, which was made very promptly. I had ordered bacon thinking it would be pork but received turkey bacon, so perhaps the applewood smoked bacon on the menu was referring to turkey bacon. It was yummy but I felt overall, the prices were all a bit steep. It is something that I could usually make at home. It is a very spacious restaurant though. It seems like they almost connected two restaurants as there are two eating spaces. When we went, we were almost the only ones there so it does not seem to get too crowded. It could be a good place to go with kids. They now advertise that they are cash only (sign outside), plus there are more atms nearby which makes it more convenient when you need to withdraw cash (and not pay the large service charge on the atm inside). However what really impressed me was their brunch! I got the pure omelet with sweet potatoes and toast...it was AMAZING! I usually put hot sauce on my omelets but this one was so good it didn't need any extras (so don't even consider putting hot sauce or ketchup on it!). I also got their mangosa which is always a satisfying brunch drink. I only took off one star because since their brunch is so great, I would like them to expand their menu a little more to offer a few additional choices. First time here this morning the service was great and attentive the food was so good I didn't get to take a picture lol I had the steak egg Benedict with sweet potato house fries and mixed green salad. The steak strips were cooked really well over the eggs Benedict and the sweet potato house fries weren't too sweet and I would also like to try the regular home fries just to compare. The fresh mixed greens were a great addition and I had a nice hot coffee that made it a full circle experience. The ambiance was great and welcoming and the customer service was so warm and inviting a nice place for breakfast/brunch and they open earlier which made it really convenient especially since most of New York doesn't open until after 11am. I've come back multiple times and had a different dish everytime. The lamb burger tastes like lamb and is well paired. The vegi wrap is pretty filling and healthy, could use a little more salt. Their home fries are sweet potatoes with some herbs. I feel like enough people hate sweet potato that it should be more clear in the menu but they were really good. There's extra seating around the corner inside, with nice large windows along the wall. The only thing I didn't like was how dried the chicken was but they had cherry tomatoes! The smoothie was also really good but it tasted like a bunch of oranges blended with water. Probably one of my more favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. Offer a nice variety of food and is very clean. Has an A sanitation grade from NYC inspection. Food: I had the burger which was cooked exactly the way ordered it which is very nice for people like me that are want things cooked to a very specific level. The burger was very good and wasn't too spicy. Staff: Staff was incredibly respectful and nice. They visited us regularly and checked to make sure our food was good. Our waiter also was aware when things were running out and quickly replaced them. Appreciated the staff always looks happy as well. It feels nice and welcoming in the restaurant. After a couple days of going around town eating slightly heavier food, came here with a friend because it was nearby, and also seemed to offer clean/simple foods. Pure Bistro didn't disappoint - the veggie wrap and veggie omelette were filling, and delicious. The veggie wrap also came with dressed greens on the side, and the omelette with toast and sweet potatoes. Overall a very nice place to grab a quick bite, and reasonably priced for the area. We went on a relatively busy Saturday morning, and the servers were still very polite and helpful even though they were definitely juggling multiple things at once. And yes - cash only!
