Damn, I leave this poor review with a heavy heart. For 10+ years this was my favorite go-to diner for delivery. I had noticed the quality declining over the years but gave them some grace since the price of everything has been going up so when the blueberry pancakes had a sad sprinkling of blueberries (for a $3 up charge), I looked the other way. Today, I ordered a coffee with my meal and they sent a small when I ordered a large. Not the end of the world but I do call restaurants and ask for a refund of the item when my order is wrong and usually they do so without issue. I called asking for a refund of the difference in price only and was told they only have one size coffee. I informed them that the app I ordered from gave the option of large or small and I ordered a large at which point I was told there's only one size (small) and it's the cost of the large. I told them they need to update their apps because that's not what's advertised and asked for a full refund of the coffee. I was told that I would need to return the coffee to a delivery person in order to get a full refund. When I called back 20 minutes later to ask if they were sending a delivery person to get the coffee, I heard the person I spoke to in the background mocking me for complaining. Now, if you're not gonna update the prices and sizes you advertise, the least you can do is make things right when it is pointed out to you that you need to update the prices and sizes you advertise. I didn't miraculously force a large coffee into my order in open defiance of their new and unannounced one size only rule. Not to mention, that person was probably lying just to be a dick. It's strange to me that the response would be so lacking in customer service over what was THEIR simple mistake. They lost a loyal customer over $0.75. read more

We like the nachos, order 1 or 2 times a week. Lately the order comes really poorly served. Today I got my usual chicken nachos. But barely any chicken. I called the restaurant and the person ask me to wait on hold while he talked to the kitchen. He came back only to tell me that the OWNER told them not to put lots of chicken in the nachos. It's called CHICKEN nachos for a reason, and no cheese ether. I did not get any apology or reimbursement at all. I don't know if continuing my business here. read more

This is a small family owned diner. That never stops fine tuning and making comfy and inviting year after year. They have Four booths inside a/ 2 cozy 2 seaters. The food is delicious. Most plates will be too big for most, thought few dishes wouldn't have you looking For seconds. Great selection of salads health options, American fare, and Mexican classics. Delicious food and a great vibe. We are frequent customers of Terrace's 5th Avenue location (Terrace Restaurant and Bakery) but somehow never connected the dots to realize that this is their original spot. Excellent burgers and superb burritos and breakfast options, and their homemade hot sauce is the best one we have ever had (and they sell bottles of it too!). Not sure how we lived in Windsor Terrace for so long without making it here, but we'll certainly be making up for lost time. Thanks guys! read more

This place is pretty lame. Every time I order from here, they get something wrong which is unacceptable for how expensive it is. Today's order made me really sad. I ordered a veggie omelette with hashbrowns and multigrain toast. I also paid an extra 2 bucks for fresh broccoli and wrote explicitly in the instructions "please add broccoli to the omelette." I knew I was paying $2 for them to put a piece or two in my omelette but I had a terrible date last night and I'm in a bad mood and I want what I want. Low and behold they delivered my food with no hashbrowns and a side of cold, unseasoned broccoli. So I paid more for less food. My toast is also completely dry and they didn't include any butter. I'm out of butter at the moment, so now I can't eat my toast either. So I paid $24 dollars for an omelette and a small iced coffee ‍. I will give them that the omelettes are good with a fair amount of toppings (? What do you call the ingredients in an omelette?) although they are not ever even remotely seasoned, and the iced coffee is also really tasty. But I won't order from here again. read more

Very cute neighborhood cafe - friendly staff and good portions. I got a veggie panini (with extra mozzarella and marinara on the side), waffle fries and churros. Ordered the "Windsor Omelette" (fresh turkey, avocado and tomato) with sweet potato fries through Seamless. Order arrived promptly but when I started eating the omelette I noticed there was no turkey in it. Cut it up some more to make absolutely sure there was no turkey. Called the place up, and told them exactly that. The man I spoke with speaks to the cook and then tells me that the cook said he put turkey in it. I tell him, "but there's no turkey in it." His response was simply that the cook said there's turkey in it. I can not believe I spent $20 on an omelet with just avocado and tomato with a side of sweet potato fries without the turkey that was promised. The staff made absolutely no accommodations for the mistake that they made. Horrible experience. PS there were so many blackened pieces of avocado in the omelet. read more

This place is a diner/cafe, the food is consistently good run by hardworking people/family and they deliver on the smallest details. The place is clean and well put together. In May while staying in Brooklyn we ordered take out from Terrance, a small café located a block away from our Airbnb. The menu was quite expansive, and in looking at the menu provided by Yelp feel the prices have increased. For hubby and myself, me a salad, him a wrap, no drinks or sides we paid $25.50. The food was average, it didn't blow neither of us away. I did feel my salad was expensive for what it was considering it was essentially meatless except for a few bacon bits. Our carry out order was filled to the excess with condiments and silver wear, something they really need to get a handle on to eliminate waste. When we arrived we only waited a few minutes for our orders to be done. The inside was small but clean by NYC standards. A few small two seater tables were also available in a front greenhouse type area. Overall the space was very tight. They must do a hell of a delivery business as there were many couriers waiting for orders to be filled with more coming and going as we were leaving. With the menu having so many offerings I do question if everything is fresh all the time, but appreciated that there was something for everyone. In a neighborhood that's short on food options within a short walk this fit the bill at the time of need. read more

It's the customers sitting down to EAT who have to take their mask off (after they've shown proof of a vaccination), not the employees cooking and serving. Hope the food makes up for the ridiculously long wait time. We made a point to come back here a second time during our week in Brooklyn. The first was on our way back from visiting the Home of FDR. We were so hungry. We planned to stop further out of Brooklyn and ended up waiting until we were almost home. Good job we did. Our appetites were very much satisfied in this cute and cosy diner. It's small, could seat about 20 at a push if there were people sitting at the bar. I had nachos and I really enjoyed them. Loved the disco fries too. My husband and friends liked what they had too. The next time we went back for breakfast and we were pretty happy with that too. Service was fairly friendly, not OTT friendly but I don't like that anyway. It's all a bit fake. I'd recommend popping down to check it out. We'd certainly go back in and eat there when we visit Brooklyn again. read more

All I wanted was to enjoy some pancakes and a cup of orange juice. I entered this place with a bright smile and said good afternoon to the gentleman behind the register and received nothing. The customer service is horrible. I seated myself, grabbed my own menu and refilled my own water. They charge $6.50 for freshly squeezed orange juice and I guarantee it is NOT freshly squeezed but poured from a bottle. I think they just want to charge extra which would have been fine if the cups weren't the size of a toddlers cup. I don't plan on ever coming back here and the pancakes taste nasty.
