Came with a friend for brunch, and it was decently packed inside! Waited about 15 mins and was seated. I liked the diner ambience and it was decorated well for the holidays. The menu is very typical of a diner. There's a good amount of choices, and I went with two eggs with corned beef, which came with home fries and toast, which came quickly. It was a good amount of food but not very good food... the home fries and corned beef were wet and almost watery. Nothing was very flavorful and saved mostly by there being lots of cholula and being hungry. The service really wasn't friendly. It was hard to get their attention, and it was really hard to get a water refill? The meal felt rushed and was a bit disappointing overall.

I ordered pancakes from this place and decided to go in person to get them again. The pancakes were just as good as the first time. They serve breakfast all day! If you're getting a burger, ask for the chipotle mayo! Ambiance felt like a cozy neighborhood diner. They also have a few tables outside.

Quick little weekend brunch while in Cobble Hill, BK! Honestly, the food was so good and I'm not a big breakfast person. I LOVED how many options they had, especially the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles (they were so well done). Don't skip the freshly squeezed OJ either, it's the real deal. Overall, super cute spot with great service and food.

This is a neighborhood diner that we came for breakfast one morning. We sat at the bar and they have hooks underneath for your bags and coats. There is a range of breakfast dishes from omelettes to benedicts to french toast, but when I saw the Chicken and Waffles ($17.95) on the menu, I knew I had to get that. The chicken is crispy and tender while the waffle was thick and fulfilling. There is just something about a sweet and savory combo drizzled with syrup all over. I ended up taking some to-go because it was so much food. On another visit during lunch this time, I ordered the Chipotle Bacon Burger ($12.95). The burger was super filling although a bit dry in some parts. It was solid, but needed more sauce than the chipotle sauce for the dry meat and buns. Although nothing too special, the food is solid and it has a nice, neighborly vibe.

Nice little coffee shop on Brooklyn. Breakfast was great. Coffee was even better! Will be back.

French toast with loads of bananas. No potassium shortage here.

My love of little coffee shops was not disappointed. This place hits that perfect spot when you're hungry, want to grab a quick bite to eat and don't want to mess with anything fancy. The guy next to us had french toast with bananas.. it was so epic looking I asked him if I could take a picture. He was probably just glad I didn't ask him for a bite. I decide to go for a home cooking standard ... a meat loaf sandwich. If I could have told them how to make it, I couldn't have done a better job. It was the perfect meat loaf sandwich. Toasted bread, a little bit of cheese.. amazing. The breakfast choices are amazing and varied and even though I don't drink coffee that often, I felt it was needed here. Pretty good diner coffee that I didn't have to figure out what size I wanted or what flavors, etc.

This little coffee shop is in the heart of cobble hill. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and serves with a big smile. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. If you're sitting outside the waitress will bring out a water dish for your dogs.

An institution in the neighborhood. A bit overpriced for diner food but a great array of options. Most of their breakfasts (all?) come with free freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee which is always a delight. Their club sandwiches come with both fries and onion rings which is great for indecisive people such as myself. I wish there were more diners like this one.

Food good, service was ok however serving hot coffee over a child is not safe. A bit pricey for the portions however great neighborhood.

The atmosphere really sets it apart--those soaring ceilings and massive windows create an airy, open feel that's perfect for daytime drinking, and the sports decor adds character without being over the top. Despite being a sports bar (I'm sure it gets lively during Knicks playoff games), it was surprisingly family-friendly during our visit. We saw several other families, including one with a small baby, and the vibe was welcoming and chill. It wasn't crowded, so we could sit wherever we wanted. On this visit, we tried the deviled eggs, french fries, and Sonoran dog, all of which were tasty and came out impressively fast. The drinks are solid too: my Negroni was well-made, and they have well-priced beers and decent cocktails throughout. Daily specials make it even more budget-friendly. The staff is friendly and laid-back, which matches the overall vibe. Bonus points for being dog-friendly with a sidewalk patio, and the hours (weekdays 3-11pm, weekends 12-11pm) work well for both afternoon hangs and evening plans. Super convenient if you're hitting up BAM.

When I did move further inside, FancyFree was quite roomy. There are plenty of high tables and a full bar. I ordered a Moscow Mule which tasted a bit flat and it was NOT served to me in the classic tin mug. I'm convinced that the tin mug affects the cold levels and flavor of that cocktail. Our server, Pierre, was really attentive and pleasant. It was a fun night-big crowd. It's a shame I didn't get to experience their food menu. A server zipped passed me with some goodies that I must try. I'll be back.

Service: 5/5 There was only one waitress and one bartender at the time, but service was very quick. We did not have to wait for anything. Walked in and was able to get a seat without reservation, but it definitely filled up by 6/7 pm. The place is dimly lit and the tables are quite small. For the food, we got their Brussel sprouts, shrimp, salmon entree and chicken entree. Our favorite were definitely the shrimp. But everything else when eaten together tasted a bit too greasy and felt monotonous in terms of flavor. Brussel sprouts were fried and held to a decent amount of oil, then the addition of tahini made it even more oily. Pan chicken we expected whole pieces of chicken but it was more like a thin chicken cutlet. The salmon came with a cauliflower puree which tasted so rich (with butter), but I couldn't finish it bc it was so rich.
