Do you love diner food go to cobble Hill Coffee shop in Carrol Gardens, Brooklyn, New York. I always have the best omelettes as well as yes good iced coffee like this Brooklyn chick loves.

Came with a friend for brunch, and it was decently packed inside! Waited about 15 mins and was seated. I liked the diner ambience and it was decorated well for the holidays. The menu is very typical of a diner. There's a good amount of choices, and I went with two eggs with corned beef, which came with home fries and toast, which came quickly. It was a good amount of food but not very good food... the home fries and corned beef were wet and almost watery. Nothing was very flavorful and saved mostly by there being lots of cholula and being hungry. The service really wasn't friendly. It was hard to get their attention, and it was really hard to get a water refill? The meal felt rushed and was a bit disappointing overall.

I ordered pancakes from this place and decided to go in person to get them again. The pancakes were just as good as the first time. They serve breakfast all day! If you're getting a burger, ask for the chipotle mayo! Ambiance felt like a cozy neighborhood diner. They also have a few tables outside.

Quick little weekend brunch while in Cobble Hill, BK! Honestly, the food was so good and I'm not a big breakfast person. I LOVED how many options they had, especially the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles (they were so well done). Don't skip the freshly squeezed OJ either, it's the real deal. Overall, super cute spot with great service and food.

This is a neighborhood diner that we came for breakfast one morning. We sat at the bar and they have hooks underneath for your bags and coats. There is a range of breakfast dishes from omelettes to benedicts to french toast, but when I saw the Chicken and Waffles ($17.95) on the menu, I knew I had to get that. The chicken is crispy and tender while the waffle was thick and fulfilling. There is just something about a sweet and savory combo drizzled with syrup all over. I ended up taking some to-go because it was so much food. On another visit during lunch this time, I ordered the Chipotle Bacon Burger ($12.95). The burger was super filling although a bit dry in some parts. It was solid, but needed more sauce than the chipotle sauce for the dry meat and buns. Although nothing too special, the food is solid and it has a nice, neighborly vibe.

Nice little coffee shop on Brooklyn. Breakfast was great. Coffee was even better! Will be back.

French toast with loads of bananas. No potassium shortage here.

My love of little coffee shops was not disappointed. This place hits that perfect spot when you're hungry, want to grab a quick bite to eat and don't want to mess with anything fancy. The guy next to us had french toast with bananas.. it was so epic looking I asked him if I could take a picture. He was probably just glad I didn't ask him for a bite. I decide to go for a home cooking standard ... a meat loaf sandwich. If I could have told them how to make it, I couldn't have done a better job. It was the perfect meat loaf sandwich. Toasted bread, a little bit of cheese.. amazing. The breakfast choices are amazing and varied and even though I don't drink coffee that often, I felt it was needed here. Pretty good diner coffee that I didn't have to figure out what size I wanted or what flavors, etc.

An institution in the neighborhood. A bit overpriced for diner food but a great array of options. Most of their breakfasts (all?) come with free freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee which is always a delight. Their club sandwiches come with both fries and onion rings which is great for indecisive people such as myself. I wish there were more diners like this one.

This little coffee shop is in the heart of cobble hill. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and serves with a big smile. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. If you're sitting outside the waitress will bring out a water dish for your dogs.

After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. The sesame bun gives the burger a great softness with all the other textures. + the fries gave me the feeling of an elevated mcdonald's fry! caesar salad was perfect. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

While they have all the traditional breakfast fare, I was so happy to see it also had a Caribbean twist to it. I couldn't help myself--I had to order rice and beans with pernil (pork shoulder) and a side of sweet plantains. Of course, I wanted some actual breakfast items, so we got the French toast loaded with fruit. We also got both the tres and quatro golpes, which is a traditional Dominican breakfast. Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. I will be coming back to try their Cuban!!

Even if you don't see something on the menu you can likely order it (within reason). On our first visit, we ordered the carbonara and we were hooked. From this first visit, we've ended up coming in many times during all times of day whether that was a late night dinner or hungover breakfast, Grand Canyon just hits the spot. It is not your fanciest meal, but it is comfort personified. Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. I really was hoping this would have wow-ed me in some way, but I guess I'll stick to what's familiar.
