    Burger with fries
    just E.

Decent Food + Low Prices This is a great spot if you're looking for a quick meal at a local joint. For $7.50 I got a burger with fries. A simple meal like that would cost a minimum of $15 in NYC nowadays. The service was fast and the burger tasted decent. The fries were really crispy, but a bit bland, so you have salt it yourself. The ingredients of course aren't the best, but for a low cost, it's a steal!

A nice diner with a local feel. The prices are outrageously low, I don't know how they do it. The pancakes were delicious, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the sausage was crispy, very good. I like that the tuna melt was on a pita but prefer it was open-faced. The fries were great, the pickle was juicy and crunchy. Would definitely return! It is cash only.

2 eggs over medium with sausage. Comes with potatoes and toast. Got coffee as well.

Classic diner. Don't expect anything fancy. But food came out at a good time. One server was running the show and she was doing awesome considering the diner was packed. Guest were all part of the neighborhood. Food was standard. Had to salt and pepper my food but I kind of expect that. Total came out to $7. Can't beat that during the time.

Hungry man - the pancakes have vanilla in them!

I love this place! No frills Cash only I'm a sucker for an old diner The food is always fresh and and consistent The prices are amazing

Solid diner, nice plants around and tasty food. No unlimited coffee refills sadly, and the pancakes were a bit too sweet, but the French toast was tasty and bacon nice and crisp. Can't beat the prices either. Nice local option!

Great food at a great price. A no frills cash only place serving delicious food. The pancakes were cakey but crispy on the outside. Such a great breakfast place.

    Breakfast for about $5

We come here every Saturday morning for an enjoyable, affordable, and hearty breakfast. And when I say affordable, I mean that sometimes we get the check and think that they missed charging us for something because it's so low. Most places in NYC try to be fancy and charge you an arm and a leg for a breakfast that isn't even good. Here, I get two eggs up, bacon, potatoes, and toast, with coffee included for about $5. It's a small, locally owned and run business with the same three employees every time. Since we're regulars, we walk in and our regular order is put in right away. So hard to find such a reliable, hospitable, super affordable place here in NYC!

like this place. old school unpretentious corner neighborhood diner. very good service. set expectations accordingly and enjoy.

Needed a spot to grab a bite after working out at blink around the corner. An incredible value for a hearty breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my eggs and feel like I'm ready for the day!

After running a couple of errands while waiting for the table to be ready, we were seated outside at the patio after an hour and 45 minutes. We ordered the famous honey butter pancakes, the korean wings, and the breakfast sandwich with hash brown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. The honey butter pancakes were pretty good but kinda drenched in the butter that made it hard to finish. The korean wings were also alright but the batter to me was kinda thick and heavy and lacked crispiness. The best item we ordered was the breakfast sandwich with hashbrown, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I think the eggs are cooked with cheese, and as someone who typically does not eat cheese, I didn't mind it. I don't know if I'll be back again - I think the concept of an asian twist on the classic diner does sound intriguing but difficult to execute. I also wasn't a big fan of the wait time. If you typically like heavier, diner food then this spot might be the place for you!

The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. The sesame bun gives the burger a great softness with all the other textures. + the fries gave me the feeling of an elevated mcdonald's fry! caesar salad was perfect. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

While they have all the traditional breakfast fare, I was so happy to see it also had a Caribbean twist to it. I couldn't help myself--I had to order rice and beans with pernil (pork shoulder) and a side of sweet plantains. Of course, I wanted some actual breakfast items, so we got the French toast loaded with fruit. We also got both the tres and quatro golpes, which is a traditional Dominican breakfast. Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. I will be coming back to try their Cuban!!

Thankfully, the staff let five of us sit and start ordering while we waited for the sixth person to arrive, which I really appreciated. Our server came by quickly to check if we were ready to order, and the food came out fast despite how busy it was. Every meal was done correctly, and they were great about accommodating food restrictions. I ordered the vegan burger, and it was delicious and truly unique. The vibe is that of a Mexican American diner, and the clientele are all clearly Brooklyn heights locals - some of which have clearly been coming here for decades. It is clearly a IYKYK spot. The menu is huge - pretty much anything you can want from a diner is on it, including a full bar. Also, the service is incredibly helpful and friendly. Even if you don't see something on the menu you can likely order it (within reason). On our first visit, we ordered the carbonara and we were hooked. How can this little spot we skipped over so many times give us such great food? Have we been missing out this whole time? From this first visit, we've ended up coming in many times during all times of day whether that was a late night dinner or hungover breakfast, Grand Canyon just hits the spot. It is not your fanciest meal, but it is comfort personified. While the carbonara is what made me fall in love with Grand Canyon (perfectly creamy and non-skimping on the crunchy bits of bacon), I've also yet to find a pulled pork sandwich as good as the one Grand Canyon puts together. I haven't left disappointed and hope this gem stays in the neighborhood forever. Long live Grand Canyon

Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. I really was hoping this would have wow-ed me in some way, but I guess I'll stick to what's familiar.
