We came in at 2:50pm on a Sunday and were informed that the kitchen closes at 3pm and the establishment closes at 4pm. Our order was rushed to the kitchen, as were many others, from customers who came in by the last minute till 3pm. Host was so amiable and accommodating. Lovely guy. Waiters & busboys were visibly harried and stressed. We felt uncomfortable taking up space at a time when staff clearly looked ready to close up. Only on Sundays they close so early, so be warned. Pleasant atmosphere, casual and low stakes. Classic rock & holiday tunes playing on the radio. The chicken teriyaki sandwich $19 surprised with a good portion of grilled chicken breast. Didn't feel any teriyaki anywhere--just a plain grilled chicken breast with a few sautéed onions. But solid if you're hungry and need a decent portion of protein. The standard diner fries are noting to write home about--typical fast food quality. Gyro platter was a serious disappointment, especially after being recommended by our waiter. The Greek salad was the only enjoyable part (and how hard is it to throw a bagged salad and some feta on a plate?). The "gyro" was something awful: four pieces of highly processed breakfast mystery "meat". We had stomach issues on the toilet, in the evening, after this particular "meat". Do not get if you value your health. Inedible and dangerous to the health. A $2 upcharge for sweet potatoes fries was not worth it. Another bagged, pre frozen fast food fries variety. Would not return. Food was mediocre and underwhelming in quality and taste, at best. Inedible and dangerous, at worst.

We love this diner. It is one of my favorite diners to come to. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Love the ambiance and decor of this diner. The menu has a variety of foods to choose from. Staff is super attentive, and food is always tasty and delicious.

I love Purity Diner. This cosy diner is a staple for us. My partner has been coming to this establishment his entire life and after my introduction, it's become my favorite too. The owner is a NYM fan and has some subtle memorabilia. He always greets us when we walk in and it's clear he remembers us. So kind of him to always remember us and make kind conversation. Food is 5/5. Exactly what you expect and are craving.

We checked this place out for a child friendly weekend brunch. The good: ample indoor and outdoor seating and a huge dinner menu with plenty of kid approved options including a kids menu. Service was slow to start but got better as the meal continued . I got the Huevos Rancheros which was $17.50 - a decent sized portion and good. All in all - it's a classic dinner and definitely recommended if that is what you are looking for.

Loved this little spot. There's a lot of breakfast locations in this area but this is definitely one to check out! Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by the most friendly servers. Our booth was comfortable, clean and spacious. Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick. The food was fresh and delicious. I got the Nova lox bagel with cream cheese, with a side of sausages. My fiancé got pancakes with home fries and everything was cooked and flavored to perfection. We walked away satisfied and planning to come back. It was also very affordable! I was impressed for the area. Cute little dinner would definitely recommend for a quick sit down bite.

We love this place. It has a cute ambiance with old time sinage, like street signs etc. for decoration. My family comes here all the time, staff is nice. I love the kitchen burrito and the dulce de leche French toast. I would recommend!

Purity Diner is my go-to diner. The food and service never disappoint. I always end up either getting my usual breakfast order of eggs that come with a side of fries and toast with an iced coffee. In terms of service, I don't think I've ever waited longer than 20 minutes for a seat and the 20 minutes was because there was only outdoor seating available (during COVID). Now that indoor seating is available at a limited capacity, you are required to sign in if you'd like to eat inside and write your name, phone number and the time you came in. Also, the waitresses/waiters are always there when needed, as are the other employees refilling your coffee etc. In terms of price, I would say the prices are standard diner prices. But you will definitely get a good portion of food for the price paid. If you are hungry and unsure of where to eat, definitely stop by Purity Diner as you'll end up leaving full and happy :)

Ordered breakfast at Purity Diner on Saturday morning. My meal was a mixed bag of food that showed the limitations of this diner. Quality: Purity Diner serves up pretty standard diner fare. I ordered the HE-MAN Combo, which was French Toast with Bacon, Ham, Sausage, and Eggs. The French Toast was excellent, but the meats and eggs were not very good. It felt too much like frozen items. The French Fries, which we ordered steak-style, were very good. I also enjoyed my Vanilla Milkshake, though additional flavors are needed. Quantity: Large portions of everything. Value: $15 for the HE-MAN Combo. $4 for French Fries. $5 for a Milkshake. Ambiance: Purity Diner is located across the street from the hospital in Park Slope. They have a large outdoor dining area, constructed during COVID. They also have a fair amount of seating inside, a mix of tables and booths. A bar area is located in the front and two televisions play on opposite sides of the restaurant. Some classic rock music was on in the background. Crowd: A decent crowd on Saturday morning, lots of families. Service: The waiters were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Parking: Tough street parking.

Beautiful lights, a sky line art work, comfy leather seats, and you can scribble on the table I love it. Staff & service are also amazing, there very attentive, respectful, friendly and the service is great, they do a great job in both of these aspects. However, their food is lacking. It's a very small menu, we ordered their burger, clams, wedge salad and Sunday. All of the items were fine, I personally didn't like the clams, I felt they were too dry, the burger was good but nothing you can't get anywhere else. The salad and Sunday weren't worth it. However, what was very disappointing, I believe they cook using cheap oils, because after our meal, my girlfriend & I just felt really bad in our stomach. I really wish this place well and hope they last, but the hype is way too high and I think they need to switch the oil and quality of their ingredients.

Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. A friend and I each got a soup to start our meal, along with sharing a Potato Pancake. The Matzoh Ball Soup and Potato Pancake were good, but not great. However, I enjoyed the Pork & Cabbage Soup enough to take home a quart. For entree, we shared a Deluxe Meat Plate that was quite delicious. All three pierogi flavors were great, but the short rib was my favorite, followed closely by the mushroom & sauerkraut. I also really enjoyed the grilled kielbasa, but sadly it was served at room temperature. Lastly, the stuffed cabbage is not usually my thing, yet I liked this version. Once again, it was served barely warm. Thankfully, we finished on a high note. My friend really wanted the Challah Bread Pudding, which was moist and tasty. However, the lovely waitress advised us strongly to try the Medovyk. This Ukrainian layered honey cake had a wonderful texture, not too creamy or sweet, with a great walnut flavor. We were extremely happy with her suggestion. We also really liked the diner vibes that felt warm and inviting. This was so close to a five star review. The main reason for the deduction was the temperature of our food being served. Hopefully that problem will be solved on my next visit.
