I popped into this cafe one afternoon just because I needed caffeine and wifi after I finished lunch with some coworkers a block away. Unlike many of the perpetually packed coffee shops in Brooklyn, every single table was available here. The coffee was pretty good, and not just good for a place I randomly walked into. Later I had a roast turkey sandwich that hit the spot for a midday bite. I was also relieved that stay open late-- until 9pm. Many coffee shops close at 4, leaving me little time to get any work done, but I was able to spend a few hours here. Their wifi was pretty solid too, which I think was helped by being the only patron on this afternoon. There's nothing revolutionary about the concept here, but a coffee shop to work from without fighting for a table is a rare find in this city. read more

Grabbed a quick brunch w family while heading to BBG. Very nice sandwiches (Egg and cheese, truffled eggs and burger) - all were quite enjoyable. The banana bread was excellent. This sit in cafe offers quick eats. You place your order at the register and the same guy will bring you your food. I can't say it's flawless, but this was a very tasty veggie burger. Pickles were great too. My step mom ordered the fries which are good but I heard the tots are better. I do feel bad for the one guy running the food and tending to the entire cafe. Immediately, when walking in, you feel cozy! If you're a plant lover like me, being in this cafe will bring you joy. Something about plants left and right make you feel euphoria. Haha. I love the way the cafe is set-up from the color scheme to how the tables are. Just gorgeous. The service was quick and the staff are friendly. They checked in with how we were liking our food which is an important part of food service to me. So I appreciated that! My co-worker who was there with me ordered a beef burger while I ordered a turkey burger. She enjoyed her burger. It was cooked to her liking and it was enough to fill her belly. As for me, I enjoyed my turkey burger. The seasonings that they used on it reminded me of Thanksgiving lol. It wasn't the way that I usually season my turkey burger but experiencing the way it was seasoned, made me think of other ways turkey burgers can be seasoned and still be tasty. So love that. Now, I understand why this cafe has high ratings. I dropped by here on my way to a Yelp event nearby. When I ordered hot chocolate to stay, the server gave me this gigantic bowl of it. I even asked him "this is a small size?!" He shrugged and said, "I might have made too much." It was delicious; it was worth $3. Moreover, I recommend this cafe for its decor. Every single thing we've had here has been exceptional. The gluten free bread (both burger buns and flatbread) in particular is outstanding.

I ordered delivery, but they're only 1.5 miles from me, so while food temperature is always a risk I was willing to take that chance and give the benefit of the doubt on that issue. What I didn't expect or excuse was the poor quality and lack of attention paid to the order. Lettuce on the burger was just... sad: limp, textureless, old. The sweet potato slices were wet and slimy, barely touched by the grill. The mayo I ordered, shown on the receipt, not to be found. The ketchup on the burger, also shown on the receipt: nowhere, not even hidden behind the limp lettuce. Oh, and it *was* all cold. We are regular customers here, but no more. Tonight we ordered and they delivered to our old address from several months ago (which is 15 minutes from here). When I called I was told that it was not their problem and to tell Grubhub (our address was updated and we have been getting deliveries to this address). This is clearly an issue between Stocked and Grubhub and not my issue to resolve. When I texted the driver to tell him the new address, he said he left it there. Even though I had spoken to him and said it was the wrong address. When I asked if they could remake the order since it would be late now they said no because they didn't know if what I was saying was accurate. So I canceled the order and will never order again. I was impressed by how many things were on the menu from café items to lunch and dinner items. We walked by here because I saw that they had hotdogs on the menu and my husband wanted a burger. He got the hamburger and I got the hotdog with cheese and sauerkraut. I have never been so full from one hot dog. If you're in the area I think this is a great option for food. I honestly think about this place and it makes me miss Brooklyn so bad. I used to go there a couple times a week and buy usually a coffee and maybe some tater tots or fries, and it just felt like home. The staff were always so friendly. One staff member was playing the meat puppets one time and we got into a conversation about it. Just the sweetest people. I was working on a project on my laptop and would be there for like 4 hours at a time. Still working on it... lol. Whenever I come across stuff I wrote there I feel nostalgic for the space. The muffins are fresh and massive, the coffee is smooth and strong, and there's spacious outdoor and indoor seating area (the outdoor one is covered too). I cannot rave enough about the original crispy chicken sandwich. Hands down my favorite chicken sandwich and I'm so glad they put it back on the menu after taking it off for several years. Rotisserie chicken made into a patty and crisped up to perfection. The aioli and slaw pair perfectly with it and all loaded onto a toasty brioche bun. Great hangover cure! Everything here is quite good, but none of it is mind blowing if that makes sense. Like definitely above average burger, above average fries, and good shake that I've had more than once and will continue to get. But none of the three are that mind blowing OMG THIS IS AN EXHILARATING EXPERIENCE type of thing that leads me to rank a place 5 stars. And I hope that doesn't come off as starting the review on a negative because this place really is good! The bun is great and not one of those that's so big you can't even eat it, the burger is well cooked, the fries are nice and salty, and the shake is a good consistency. They've got other pastries and cookies that are great to go, take covid seriously, and have a very friendly staff. It does take quite a bit sometimes to get your food, but, you can also tell it's super freshly made. I love this place - I don't know if it's new or something but I hope it just stays as wholesome as my visit yesterday. Found this place after another cafe I visited was too packed. I got the BEC burger and truffle tater tots. My company ordered some jalapeno one.. it was also good but it was not spicy (surprisingly). They didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked but it was juicy and more on the medium/medium well side. The bun was amazing and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The plant decor brings a very grounding and refreshing vibe to the space. I look forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu. read more

I have been to this restaurant in its multiple iterations. In its current iteration of Stocked Cafe, I have gone three times in the past 7 or so months. The staff is friendly, helpful, and genuine. They help you if you want to put tables together or get multiple high chairs. Once, when they realized that they were out of an item that we had ordered, they immediately removed the charge and let us know. They are patient with toddlers, too. The food is always prepared well -- nice combinations of flavors and cooking techniques. It is not fancy, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes--salads, turkey burger, and other items. Their fries are quite good. I especially like their beverage options -- an interesting and appealing selection. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to the table. This place is always there for us when we want to go out for a no-fuss, nutritious meal in a pleasant atmosphere. read more

Beef patty with sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, gruyere cheese, lettuce and a house-made garlic aioli, served on a grilled brioche bun with a side of tater tots. Omg. In Brooklyn visiting family and my cousin suggested this place as it was a short walk from his house. It's a small but charming place. I ordered the BEC Burger which had bacon, egg and cheese on it with arugula and a garlic aioli. My burger was juicy and the bun was heavenly. I absolutely loved the arugula as it gave a nutty taste that I didn't think would be great on a burger. So glad I was wrong. I also ordered the truffle Parmesan tater tots and they were crispy with just enough truffle and Parmesan (which are both very big flavors) to create such an awesome balance. I actually took another order for my ride back home. My cousin had the Bacon Me Crazy burger and said it was the best bacon he's ever had. He had the tater tots with garlic and parsley and you know Men.....not very demonstrative but he ate every bite and said "excellent". I am already looking forward to my next family lunch in Brooklyn. Ok, we've got to talk about Stocked for a minute, Yelpers. Visited a couple weeks ago on a whim w/ the parental units and ended up having one of the best darn sandwiches I've ever had. For real. Their Housemade Roast Turkey sandwich is legit delish. Thin cut & super juicy turkey with bacon aioli, tomato jam, a little arugula, all on a lightly grilled ciabatta roll - so so so good. I couldn't get enough of this sandwich. Although I need to subtract 1 little star b/c I really wish that for $12 or $13 (!!) my amazing sandwich came w/ a few equally as delicious crunchy chips or a little side salad. Something that would pair well with the sandwiches... * But lets be real - I'll very likely be back for another roast turkey. Plus the place is super cute. They've got a wall of banquet seating with tables of 2 and 4. And then an outdoor patio (for when the weathers nice, of course). The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Was craving a burger and realized that stocked was a short walk away from me. Ordered the stocked burger as well tater tots. The burger was perfectly cooked, and exactly what I was craving. So what have I tried: Lemonade: perfect balance of tarte and sweet. Get it early before they run out! 5 French toast muffin: It's basically pieces of French toast put together in muffin form. I wasn't a huge fan, but word out on the street is that it is a customer favorite. 3 BEC/ Fried Egg Sandwich: both are AHMAZING. That bread is grilled to perfection, Egg the right amount of runny, cheese is gooey. The bite is crunchy then soft. SATISFYING. If you like bacon get the BEC. If not, no biggie, get fried Egg sandwich! 5 Steel Cut Oatmeal: perfect consistency. Sweetened with brown sugar and has little surprise bites of apricots and apples. Yummy. 5 Sweet Potato toast: I get this when I'm acting health conscious. The textures are all complimentary and the flavors explode in your mouth. The soft sweet of the sweet potato is cut but the soft tart goat cheese with the crisp of quinoa and kale. Once again the egg is the right amount of runny. 5 Roasted Eggplant sandwich: Again with that BREAD. Subtleness of the eggplant flavor is brighten by the whipped feta and capers. This place is insanely good. We order their burgers about once a month. For sure top 3 burgers I've ever eaten every. Single. Time. Always get the fries and truffle tater tots. Not super crazy about the fries but crazy about the tots. Perfect amount of truffle. Tomato sauce in it was overpowering, and my hands were drenched in sauce by the time I finished my sandwich, but highly flavorful. The meatballs were soft and perfectly seasoned. -Their homemade Stocked hot sauce. Has a unique flavor to it and complements the sandwiches well. -Fast casual vibe. Cons: -Prices. For a $15 sandwich, albeit very filling, I was surprised to get only a half inch slice pickle as a side. I appreciated the gesture, but the pickle was such a tease that they would have been better off not adding it to the plate. -The housemade roast turkey sandwich. It sounded cool on the paper, and I did like the tomato jam in it, but the turkey was crumbling in my hands at all times. The turkey wasn't in slices but rather in minced form. I finished my sandwich since I paid $15 for it, but didn't enjoy it. -No laptops on tables between 12-2pm on weekends. The stranger next to me had his laptop out at 2:30pm on a Saturday though, so either the rule is loosely enforced or the man waited for 2pm to whip it out. read more

We just placed an order for the stocked burger, bacon burger, a hotdog, tater tots and fries this past Friday. For pickup. When my husband came home, he realized the fries never made it to the bag. When he called for a refund for the fries, they decided to rectify the problem by going above and beyond. The had someone deliver fries, tater tots and baked good to us! The customer service is exemplary. They clearly care about their customers and making sure they're happy. The burgers were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. The hotdog was surprisingly better than most hotdogs we've had. The tater tots and fries were so good, I kept eating them even when I was full Bottom line- give them a try.
