Delicious pork hash with Peruvian hominy, a perfectly poached egg safely nestled in a cup for takeout, and pickled jalapenos/onions/carrots. (The dining-in presentation's more vertical.)

Buttermilk pancakes, fried egg and avocado.

This is my go-to spot for pancakes--light, fluffy, and always delicious. They also make great coffee and lattes, and the staff is super friendly, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!

food is so delicious and they are incredibly fast in serving it to you! I think this is the best eggplant sandwich I have ever had. The ambiance is great for eating, reading, or working, and never seems too incredibly loud or packed. I also love the outdoor seating options.

This was the most pleasant surprise during my trip to New York this go round. The ambiance is quaint and intimate. The staff was very patient and friendly. All that I could ask for as a first timer. I elected for a Cortado and the Pork Hash. My guest had the chorizo tacos with scrambled eggs and a maple latte. The flavors in both my hash and the chorizo tacos were phenomenal. I made a perfect bite of the hominy (in place of potato), pork, pickled jalapeno and onions, and poached egg. I'll be back to try a few more items from the menu. Job well done.

4.5/5| Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese | $12 4/5 | Iced Coffee | $4 Wow this was an amazing brunch spot in Brooklyn! Lots of baked goods, drinks, and brunch food items. I tried the tomato soup and grilled cheese, which were delicious. The tomato soup was rich and creamy, only complaint was that it was a bit too salty. The grilled cheese was delicious as well, can't go wrong with that combo! The iced coffee was well made, but a tiny bit watery for my taste. My friend got a latte, which was much better so would recommend getting their lattes instead! Loved the ambiance inside and service was fast.

Love this place! Got a grilled cheese and tomato soup combo on a rainy day. it was perfect! Place is busy on weekdays and weekends, free wifi and ample working space both inside and outside. Love it! Great neighborhood spot.

Very cute spot with really good coffee and service. Ecuadorian fried rice was delicious and hit the spot, the egg on top made the whole meal. Would strongly recommend, very well priced and good serving sizes. Not too many seats indoors but still worth a visit if you're in the mood for either coffee or good food.

This is the top of the machine. He also never wiped off the dust.

I'm not going back. Decided to give them another shot. This Hispanic man that seemed like the owner (he was working the register and training a barista) put a coffee cup on top of one of the machines drinking-end down. When I said I didn't want that cup, he asked why. I told him there was dust up here. He rolled is eyes, shook his head, said wow and took out a different cup for me. He then proceeded to put the other cup back to be used for the next person. I'm glad he did this because the chai latte at memes healthy nibbles and the matcha latte at namas tea are amazing.

    Horchata! They have delicious horchata!

We didn't have a reservation, but we went the day after a snow storm so it was pretty quiet. At first we were the only customers, but they slowly filled up during our meal. I would describe the inside as 'rustic cute'. It feels very cozy with the exposed brick, wooden tables, and soft lighting. For food we each did the Prix Fixe which lets you choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. For appetizers we got the Chileatole and the Anticuchos. For entrees I got the Grass-Fed Skirt Steak and my boyfriend got the Pato en Mole Poblano. For dessert we both got the Bread Pudding. I thought the Prix Fixe was a good deal for the quantity and quality of food. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. Favorite bites were the Chileatole soup and the Skirt Steak. Our server was super friendly and approachable. Overall it was a really good experience and I would definitely return the next time I'm visiting the area.

I'm not going to pretend that I am the best person to determine what an authentic Colombian experience is (never had the pleasure of visiting Colombia), but if this isn't it, I can't imagine what they're missing. The staff speaks to you in Spanish exclusively, which made me glad one of my boys is Honduran. The TVs all over the place are playing what appear to be Colombian music videos that were made in the 80s featuring old men and attractive young women. They've got buckets of Colombian beer and frosted mugs so cold that the beer turned to slush around the sides. They've got a platter called the Bandeja la Berraca that consists of rice, beans, steak, plantains, eggs, avocado salad, little corn cakes, blood sausage, other sausage (amazing), and a giant side of chicharron. Eat and drink to you're bursting, while adorable Colombian kids run around the place. And rejoice that you live in NYC, where these things can be had.

Everything was excellent, but the paella was the star of the meal my wife couldn't put her fork down. The drinks were cold, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. The only downside was the service at the front. The host seemed a little unfriendly, which wasn't the best first impression. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, was very welcoming, and seated us in the back, which ended up being the perfect spot for a quick bite and a couple of drinks. The space itself is spacious, and I loved that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. There's plenty of seating either way, and the atmosphere was lively when we visited. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the sauces and little details. That said, the flavors were a little outside of what I was craving that day. I was looking for something light, bright, and refreshing, especially seafood. I ordered the scallop ceviche and completely missed that it came with a guanabana sauce, so it ended up being a much thicker, saucier ceviche than I expected. The scallops were fresh and the flavors were good, but I was really craving a more classic ceviche. I ordered another ceviche afterward, and while the fish was fresh, the pieces were chopped a little too small for my preference and it still wasn't quite what I was looking for. Some of the plantain chips were also a bit too hard to enjoy. The fried branzino was probably my favorite dish. The fish was very fresh, and I loved that the skin was left on. Personally, I think I would have enjoyed it even more with a creamier sauce instead of the chimichurri, but that's just a personal preference. Overall, I really liked the vibe here and appreciated the creativity and care put into the food. Not every dish matched my personal taste that day, but there are still plenty of things on the menu I'd like to come back and try, especially during happy hour. And I'll definitely be back for a margarita.

We initially had decided on ordering the Combo La Chacra, which consists of a whole rotisserie chicken, yellow rice with red beans, an avocado salad, an order of salchipapas, and an order of maduros. We added an extra half chicken, and thought "that's a wrap". However, there was an appetizer special of thinly sliced octopus prepared Peruvian style that needed to be ordered too.
