    Picada Colombiana (blood sausage)

My friend raves about this place's pizza. I didn't know it was green plantain based crust, which I was a fan of bc i love tostones. Rice is nicely flavored and its a quaint cutesy place very intimate with a friendly server. She was kind and check up on us often. My guac for the table was loved by my cousin but for me i prefer them chunkier. I would get it spicier for next time but the table prefers mild. Our group's favorite of the options was the ajiaco (soup), the chicken was nicely shredded and the corn and potato has such good flavor, the pot itself was super conveniently homey vibe. Picada was nicely fried w a various of pork and beef, yuca fried was nice and the blood sausage has a very juicy flavor with yummy rice bits which all blends very well with a side of avocado and soupppp. A little side salad came with the patacon pizza, and there was unlimited amount of sauce i think its ketchupmayo taste good w fried meats. The carne asada camerones with the creamy sauce and spinach tomatoes was a cute entree to share. The juice was freshly made.

Great atmosphere, food, and service. We got the beef empanadas which were pretty good but my favorite was the chicken Milanese which comes with a side of rice, fries, and beans. Definitely get the soursop drink.

Heard about this spot through IG and had to try the pernil a la cerveza! It was so good! Tender and savory. I love Colombian food and usually make my judgement based on how the bandeja paisa tastes but I had to try their ajiaco (most places don't offer it or only on certain days) it was good! Service was kind and quick. Ambiance is friendly. Drinks were strong and delicious! The mojito with aguardiente was a yummy touch. I would make the drive out to try their food!

Forget Sábado gigante. Hello Feliz viernes! The best Colombian comfort foods and drinks with complimentary shots of Aguardiente courtesy of the house for every guest. Stay an hour, stay forever. There's no pressure to settle up and leave anytime soon, but you won't want to either!

This place tastes like home cooking. My favorite dish is Chuleta de cerdo en salsa de Tamarindo. It's *chef's kiss*

Ordered from here on a whim and I'm beyond happy I did!…read more What a flavor bomb every bite was. Wow. Ordered the rotisserie chicken with garlic sauce and got it with yellow rice and tostones. (9 out of 10) Also tried the empanada sampler which came with four empanadas of my choosing and tried the Beef, shrimp, chicken, and birria. (8 out of 10) I mean this sincerely... everything was beyond flavorful. The rotisserie garlic chicken had to be my favorite bite of the night but each empanada included in the sampler was crispy, tender, and decadent; each one leaving its own individual mark. Seriously blown away and might even had to stop in to try the food at the restaurant next time. Can't wait to see order from here again!

Service: Good. Got checked on regularly by friendly staff:…read more Ambiance: loud, colorful, probably a good fit for a loud drunk brunch vibe. A lot of seating and a back area with fans. Food: This place is quite bad. We ordered the tortilla soup and the vegan tofu chimichurri. The tortilla soup was inedible it was so salty. The tofu was grilled and entirely burnt on the bottom. I had to slice the entire bottom off. The chimichurri sauce was flavorful. The yellow rice side seemed like bagged instant rice. The maduros were good. Did not try the alcohol but they had a large selection including non alcoholic options. The place adds a 20% auto gratuity fee. Kind of absurd on a 2 person check. I am Latina so perhaps I have a higher expectation for Latin food but I'm perplexed at how this place could have such high ratings, perhaps it was just a bad night. I would never go back and would not recommend.
