Cool Mexican bar in bk. Nice margaritas. Great service. Interior is very festive and nacho libre like. Tons of tequilas and margarita types. TVs to watch games Z

One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I stumbled upon this place once and it became a staple for me once I saw how many different flavors of margaritas they had. The drinks are amazing, the vibes are cozy and very cute, and the food is delicious. I would come here everyday if I could.

We were craving some good tacos for Taco Tuesday and ended up at this restaurant/bar. The tacos were so good, and the happy hour deals were great too! The drinks were amazing and definitely worth the happy hour prices. The servers were hilarious, friendly, and very helpful, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something quick, easy, and a fun vibe!

After a night out listening to great music at Lucky 13 it was late in the evening and we were craving tacos. We found Miti Miti on the Yelp app and since it was only a 10 minute walk we headed over there. Good thing they are open until 2am on Fri/Sat. The place has a fun & chill modern Mexican restaurant vibe. The taco plates we ordered were delicious (coconut shrimp and steak chimichurri) along with the agua frescas to drink. Really nice servers here who offered suggestions and didn't steer us wrong. Plenty of seating, clean, with a cool ambiance.

Drop the BS 20% "auto gratuity" - not noted on the menu or any visible signage. F this place.

We we're seated with a little wait but not too bad. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is well decorated. The decor on the walls were my favorite part. I order the steak bowl and my wife order the skirt steak. The food was ok. Was a little disappointed in the size of my bowl. The steak was delicious and cooked to your order. The food overall was good nothing crazy special about it. I would def come back to try the tacos and to try the all you can eat tacos. They do charge you an extra 20% gratuity no matter the size of the party. I do wish they would tell you ahead of time.

We walked over to this restaurant after a show in Prospect Park. There were some great options, but we decided ultimately on wings and tacos. The flavors and choices were very unique and delicious. I don't think I've ever had termination, but I will definitely have them again. They were delicious. Big, crispy, juicy and well-cooked. The best way to describe the sauce on them is umami, savory, sweetness. The fish tacos were phenomenal. There was a little bit too much of the chipotle mayo, but the extra easily scraped off. Otherwise I would definitely have those any day. My friend enjoyed her tacos so much, she ordered another variety and tore those up as well. Next time we'll probably have drinks with our dinner.

The reviews were right when they said this place is veryyy loud. I could barely have a conversation with my friend even seated towards the back of the restaurant where they said it was quieter. Also had very nightclub/nightlife vibes if that's what you're opting for. The food was definitely amazing! Chips and guac $14. 2 birria tacos ~ $20 could've had more substance to it but great flavor. Lobster quesadilla was so unique ~ $20, had a lot of avocado, not too much lobster. Service was also reallyyyy slow, seems like they forgot to attend to our table often, even when asking for the menu and check. Decent experience

I go to Miti Miti a lot, and it's always a fun spot to hang out. I've went there for my sister's birthday, Taco Tuesdays, and Cinco de Mayo. Just a heads up, on big holidays like Cinco de Mayo, expect long lines and a packed crowd. You will have to wet outside sometimes until tables are clear. Expect people talking a lot and music playing loud, so it's definitely not the place if you're looking for something quiet. I'm a fan of their rice and beans, plantains, tacos, and nachos. Their food is good, and I've never had any issues with the service or staff. The location is great since it's right near Barclays Center and lots of other spots in the area. It a perfect place to go eat with friends, drink some margaritas, and eat some Mexican Food.

Quick & friendly service, delicious late night food, yummy drinks, and great playlist. Honey jerk wings were perfectly crunchy. the shrimp quesadillas were 10/10. coconut shrimp tacos were a little sweet, but the hot sauce on the table helped balance it! The chicken tacos were a bit dry but again, the chipotle sauce was a perfect addition.

Today was my first time at Miti Miti with my son during the 5th Ave Street Fair. Wow! The music, ambiance and vibe was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious! Great service! Definitely recommend and I will be back very soon.

Came here for lunch one day and I ordered the skirt steak entree with maduros and yellow rice. The steak was okay and the maduros were good, but rice was a little dry. For the price point, the size of the entree was quite small. Service was good. Ambiance is cool, vibrant and modern inside and they blast throwback songs.

    Is bottomless brunch back yet?

Hi Morgan! Bottomless brunch at Miti BK is not back yet BUT our sister restaurant Medusa Greek…

I was told that they have Mariachis that play there. Is this true?

No that's false I've been coming to this establishment for over 3 years and i have yet to see any.

Do they impose a mandatory tip/ gratuity onto all bills?

Yes they do . I forgot the percentage but it’s definitely included

    Is there in door dining?

    Yes

Does Miti Miti not have the same happy hour specials anymore now that it's outdoor seating?

Well the happy hour is there just the menu is much smaller and not as extensive as before . And also they are not doing as much of their brunch happy hour deal

Is there still boozy brunch happening during this time?

Nope sorry no boozy brunch yet

    Is there a happy hour?

    Hey Jasmine! Our happy hour is Monday - Thursday, 11AM - 11:30PM, and Friday 11AM - 6PM.

    Is this place kid friendly?

    Yes it is!

Will you guys be doing anything for Cinco De Mayo? Music/ drink specials?

They're currently accepting Cinco de Mayo reservations and will be releasing a special menu. In the past they've had complimentary tastings and drink specials along with giveaways.

Do they play music, is there a dj?

I haven't seen a DJ, but yes they do play music

The bowl was packed with flavor and made with some of the best, freshest ingredients. And the mac & cheese? Creamy, delicious, and completely vegan. Aunts et Uncles: Vegan food that doesn't need a disclaimer…read more Baby, that loaded baked potato?! One of the best things I've eaten at a vegan restaurant. Period. A strong 9.5/10, and I don't hand those out casually. The peanut butter cauliflower was a close second--absolutely delicious, just a little pricey for the portion. The lasagna was a solid 8/10. Flavorful and hefty despite its lighter ingredients. Unless you're skipping appetizers, prepare for leftovers. Fair warning: it's saucy and doesn't travel particularly well. I also noticed an aftertaste I couldn't quite identify, but nothing that ruined the dish. The mac and cheese? A 6/10 for me. The flavor fell flat, though my dinner companions thought it was decent for vegan food. They also loved their burger and the gorgeous steak-style sandwich with chimichurri and avocado. The sandwich looked delicious, but the portion didn't quite justify the price for me. Now, the sorrel cocktail? A 9/10. Easily. What would make it a 10? A bit more alcohol. I couldn't really taste any. It gave mocktail. My girls did enjoy their wine, though! Service was very warm and friendly, although the packed crowd meant extended waits once we placed our orders. The space is beautiful, cozy, and elevated, but cramped in many areas. Between counter ordering and table service, expect people moving around you. Some patrons could use a gentle reminder that their behinds are not a complimentary side dish. The aesthetics are beautiful, the bathroom was cute and clean, and there's a small outdoor patio out front. They even had a DJ bringing block-party energy during our visit! I could easily see myself returning for breakfast, brunch, or a little café workday. What I love most, though, is the community-centered spirit and how the owners' partnership and love story are woven into the space. My final word: I judge vegan food by the same standards as everything else. No participation trophies just because it's plant-based. My ultimate test? Would I order it again, and would I return to the restaurant? Aunts et Uncles didn't need a vegan consolation prize or watered-down standards. Some dishes could use tweaking, and the portions don't always match the prices, but the standouts absolutely hold their own against non-vegan food. I'm already plotting my return. That loaded potato and I have unfinished business.

TL;DR version- Some high highs and some very low lows. Hot Figs was a fun app. By a mile, the soups…read morewere the favorites, so I would recommend the Pepián or Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo. Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.

It was good overall but it could have used a little more salt. I also tried the matcha latte (which tasted a bit too milky) and I had to add extra sweetener, so I'd probably try a different drink next time. The pastries, especially the apple strudel and Boston cream donut, were both really good. Highly recommend the apple strudel.
