A fun meal in a vibrant room The room is comfortable and decorated nicely. The cocktails were inconsistent, some much better than others. The Soft Shell Crab Tacos were outstanding! The service was attentive, even when the restaurant was crowded. The restaurant is owned by a group that operates other good restaurants in the neighborhood. A 20% service charge was added to the check.

After a night out listening to great music at Lucky 13 it was late in the evening and we were craving tacos. We found Miti Miti on the Yelp app and since it was only a 10 minute walk we headed over there. Good thing they are open until 2am on Fri/Sat. The place has a fun & chill modern Mexican restaurant vibe. The taco plates we ordered were delicious (coconut shrimp and steak chimichurri) along with the agua frescas to drink. Really nice servers here who offered suggestions and didn't steer us wrong. Plenty of seating, clean, with a cool ambiance.
We we're seated with a little wait but not too bad. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is well decorated. The decor on the walls were my favorite part. I order the steak bowl and my wife order the skirt steak. The food was ok. Was a little disappointed in the size of my bowl. The steak was delicious and cooked to your order. The food overall was good nothing crazy special about it. I would def come back to try the tacos and to try the all you can eat tacos. They do charge you an extra 20% gratuity no matter the size of the party. I do wish they would tell you ahead of time.

We walked over to this restaurant after a show in Prospect Park. There were some great options, but we decided ultimately on wings and tacos. The flavors and choices were very unique and delicious. I don't think I've ever had termination, but I will definitely have them again. They were delicious. Big, crispy, juicy and well-cooked. The best way to describe the sauce on them is umami, savory, sweetness. The fish tacos were phenomenal. There was a little bit too much of the chipotle mayo, but the extra easily scraped off. Otherwise I would definitely have those any day. My friend enjoyed her tacos so much, she ordered another variety and tore those up as well. Next time we'll probably have drinks with our dinner.
The reviews were right when they said this place is veryyy loud. I could barely have a conversation with my friend even seated towards the back of the restaurant where they said it was quieter. Also had very nightclub/nightlife vibes if that's what you're opting for. The food was definitely amazing! Chips and guac $14. 2 birria tacos ~ $20 could've had more substance to it but great flavor. Lobster quesadilla was so unique ~ $20, had a lot of avocado, not too much lobster. Service was also reallyyyy slow, seems like they forgot to attend to our table often, even when asking for the menu and check. Decent experience
I go to Miti Miti a lot, and it's always a fun spot to hang out. I've went there for my sister's birthday, Taco Tuesdays, and Cinco de Mayo. Just a heads up, on big holidays like Cinco de Mayo, expect long lines and a packed crowd. You will have to wet outside sometimes until tables are clear. Expect people talking a lot and music playing loud, so it's definitely not the place if you're looking for something quiet. I'm a fan of their rice and beans, plantains, tacos, and nachos. Their food is good, and I've never had any issues with the service or staff. The location is great since it's right near Barclays Center and lots of other spots in the area. It a perfect place to go eat with friends, drink some margaritas, and eat some Mexican Food.

Quick & friendly service, delicious late night food, yummy drinks, and great playlist. Honey jerk wings were perfectly crunchy. the shrimp quesadillas were 10/10. coconut shrimp tacos were a little sweet, but the hot sauce on the table helped balance it! The chicken tacos were a bit dry but again, the chipotle sauce was a perfect addition.
Came here for lunch one day and I ordered the skirt steak entree with maduros and yellow rice. The steak was okay and the maduros were good, but rice was a little dry. For the price point, the size of the entree was quite small. Service was good. Ambiance is cool, vibrant and modern inside and they blast throwback songs.
Today was my first time at Miti Miti with my son during the 5th Ave Street Fair. Wow! The music, ambiance and vibe was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious! Great service! Definitely recommend and I will be back very soon.
Oh so delicious! Came for date night. Was glad to get a table so fast as it was Friday and it's very popular. Very nice service. I got the steak fajitas hubs got the steak burrito. We don't eat a lot at one so it lasted a couple of meals. My fajitas lasted 3 meals , the burrito was 2. Delicious even reheated. The green Sangria is interesting but strong if you're a lightweight. If you want good Mexican food come to Miti Miri! read more

It's quite a large restaurant, with pop culture art all over the place. So right off the bat it was eye catching! We were seated inside on a Thursday night, and the DJ was playing some tunes (a bit too loud, but that's just a personal preference). Our server was great, very attentive and friendly! I got the crispy Brussels sprouts, that had the most delicious sauce. The Brussels were perfectly charred but not burned, and tasted divine! I also got the grilled shrimp and coconut shrimp tacos, which both were absolutely mind blowing! The flavors of the coconut shrimp coupled with mangos were just out of this world! That with grilled shrimp that came with pickled onions and guac was just such a great combo order! Highest of the keys recommend checking out this place if you're in the neighborhood! read more

I did not see any advanced notice of an automatic 20% gratuity until I got the bill (for a party of one). Gratuity should be EARNED and I should decide the amount based on the quality of service. Automatically charging that without my knowledge or consent seems like theft, in my opinion. I have no respect for it and I will never return to a business that does that. read more

I'm naturally hesitant to give 5 stars, but wow! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was phenomenal. Every server we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to engage with, and our waiter Hector was fantastic. The décor was beautiful, the drinks were strong and perfectly crafted for happy hour, and the food was incredible. The lobster quesadilla had generous, delicious pieces of lobster, the steak chimichurri tacos were juicy and full of flavor, and the wings were exactly how we ordered them, extra well done and perfectly saucy. This was our pre-Knicks-game dinner and drink spot, just a short walk from Barclays, and it delivered on every level. We'll absolutely be back, possibly for the unlimited tacos, brunch, or honestly both it was that good. We drove in from Long Island and as true foodies, it takes a lot to impress us, but this spot genuinely wowed us. Highly recommended definitely check it out! read more

Came when it just opened on a weekend and it was nice, quiet and chilly inside. The server was so warm and welcoming. She was very patient and explained the taco flight for us which included 10 tacos. There were a lot of tacos to choose from. The options were lobster, jerk chicken, pork and many more. For appetizers, we got nachos which I thought was fine. The quesadilla which was cheesy and the calamari which was definitely the best. It was lightly battered and has a bit of old bay seasoning to it. The server overheard we were celebrating our friend's birthday and even offered us each an iced sangria wine shot. I've been here a couple of times and this time kinda felt the most underwhelming out of the visits. We stopped by just to grab a quick bite and chat. The restaurant still looks clean and appealing. The staff were also friendly. I forgot the name of the drink I got, but it was a hot alcoholic drink that actually tasted really good. I also got a lobster burrito bowl but felt like I should've gotten steak. The lobster was really dry but everything else tasted good. It was a bit pricey as well for a plate of food and one drink with no apps. Overall, it was decent. read more

I am not new to this spot, and every time I come I always have a good time and enjoy my meal. I went with my friend who has also been there once last year. We went during brunch hours. The atmosphere is nice and chill. They still had up Halloween decorations lol but I didn't mind :) and our waitress Caroline was great and attentive. The first thing I ordered was my go to drink, which is their Frozen Coconut Margarita. I actually ordered two lol. And my friend ordered the Frozen Passionfruit Margarita. And yes, both were delicious. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn and Hot Queso and Chips for starters and for my main course I got the Chimichurri Steak Tacos with black beans and rice and my friend got the Chicken Tacos with a side of fries. Everything was so tasty and well seasoned we would come back time and time again. My friend loved the Hot Queso so much she ordered a second dip lol. All in all I definitely recommend. From the moment I walked in with my OpenTable reservations before the Knicks game until I walked out, I was blown away by this place. The decor was awesome, our server hector was awesome. We ordered our drinks which were lychee margs and jalapeño margs. The jalapeño margs were amazing. The perfect amount of spice. For food we ordered the lobster quesadilla which came with generous portions of lobster. We also ordered the chimichurri steak tacos which were cooked so well and tasted delicious. We also did the trio wing thing which came with 3 diff sauces. One was jerked, one was smoked bbq and one was buffalo sriracha. We ordered the wings crispy and wet and that's exactly how they came out. The quesadillas were incredible. The tacos? Forget trying another spot for tacos. These were incredible. Hector was generous and kind and even gave us drinks to go on our walk to the Barclays to watch the Knicks beat the nets. This restaurant was packed when we got there, luckily we made reservations. They sat us up front but it was too cold so we asked to be moved to the back and they were very accommodating without being annoying. I ordered a Mexican mule and it was not good could not taste the mezcal it just tasted like water and ginger beer. The tacos were good I got a shrimp, a carne asada a chicken and a fish. The carne and fish were my favorite. The corn bread was slamming. The elotes were good but they needed salt to bring out the flavors. The taro chips were bomb with the guacamole and spicy cheese dip. The music was good. Prices I think were okay. read more

Have been coming here for years. It's one of my favorite spots. The food is excellent, appetizers, tacos, mole. It has all the gringo favorites and it does them well with fresh ingredients and nice takes. The music is loud for some and the drinks are stiff. This is not your grandma's Mexican restaurant and that's not a bad thing. Great for a night out after work with friends or a date night for the young or trying to be young. Prices are reasonable for the area, 120$ for 2 with drinks will leave you full. Service is adequate. read more

Easily made a reservation on open table. They had options which was nice. Going to a show at Barclays and my old Mexican spot closed. I was so happy to find this spot. It was a short walk from the LIRR and to the Barclays center. We were running late and they held our table until we all arrived. Our waiter Chris was amazing! He was patient and answered all our questions. Yes they can do flour tortillas, yes you can mix n match the tacos, yes we need to order right now to get happy hour prices and we did! lol You can't go wrong with a frozen flavored margarita. I do NOT drink tequila but the margs were tasty and strong. I had mango and the tamarindo. The tamarindo was a pleasant surprise. A tangy and sweet flavor. I really liked it. The giggling and talking that ensued following these beverages was something else. The tacos were yummy especially the crispy fish. Making it a meal was a perfect choice for me. The rice and beans could do with a little flavor but I added a few dashes of the hot sauce and some of the guacamole and it was great. This was the perfect spot before a concert at the Barclays! Music and vibes were also amazing.. and shots! Looking around ..the place was buzzing and everyone in here seemed to be having a GREAT time. I come here all the time but always forget to review! Visited on a rainy Saturday evening without a reservation and was promptly seated for a party of 4. Service was and always is great. Food is always fresh and tasty. First time getting a taco flight, love the presentation. I had a frozen lychee margarita which was tasty and well balanced. Well the happy hour is there just the menu is much smaller and not as extensive as before . And also they are not doing as much of their brunch happy hour deal

They're currently accepting Cinco de Mayo reservations and will be releasing a special menu. In the past they've had complimentary tastings and drink specials along with giveaways.
