FLORENTINE OMELETTE
David M.

This is a great small spot that serves up breakfast and brunch items. We were seated right away and got quick and great service. I got their Florentine omelette and waffle with whipped cream. The omelette and waffle were both very delicious. The Florentine omelette had a combination feta cheese and spinach. This is a great spot in the park slope area that serves excellent food with friendly and great service.

My partner and I came here to split a healthier brunch and really enjoyed our meal! The Johnny Peanuts smoothie was delicious, and you could really taste the peanut butter! We were both big fans and needed the extra protein after a tough workout. The eggs were delicious, and nothing is better to pair it with than toast with butter. While neither of us typically like sweet potato, we actually really enjoyed it in this dish. Very reasonable prices, especially with those portion sizes. Would definitely recommend!

Great little restaurant in Park Slope. Randomly stopped by a few weeks ago and had a nice experience. The food and service here are really great. The prices are also budget friendly! What's better than doing brunch without breaking the budget? Mimosas are 2 for $12 which is a great deal. Enjoyed my food and the service and will definitely be back again.

Homestyle potatoes, eggs over easy, toast and pancakes

I dined here the end of November during my NY visit. I'm not sure if it was the owner of the restaurant but he was very nice and complimentary (because of that alone I'd go back). My friend and I were the first ones and it was nice. You get the time to have a conversation with the staff with no rush. I had the home style potatoes (a little softer and they would have been perfect). Everything else was excellent! The eggs over easy had me wanting more. The pancakes were warm and fluffy. Lastly, the pineapple mimosa was delicious. Chicagoans can be very critical...but I was well pleased

Nice casual cafe spot for brunch on. Saturday morning. The servers were nice and the options were simple. I got eggs benedict and a berry smoothie. Everything tasted great and we were thankful for the extra bottle of water the server dropped off at our table because we finished running and needed the hydration.

After getting some great news I wanted some breakfast and stopped in here walking up 5th Ave in park slope. Mimosas were 2 for 12. I went with the pure omelette which had onions peppers Turkey bacon and pepper Jack cheese with a side of sweet potato home fries and buttered toast very delicious. I again got a side of pork sausage which I enjoyed very much with my mango mimosas to wash it down ambiance was casual plenty of seating, also outdoor seating is available. My server was very friendly. Very relaxing no loud noises and chill just the way I like it.

Love! Charming atmosphere (love all of the plants!), friendly and hard working staff, and there is always so much to choose from the menu. I definitely recommend getting a smoothie, regardless of what meal you're having. My favorite dish is the Herb Grilled Chicken, but all of the burgers are amazing too.

This is a solid breakfast/brunch place! The French toast was good, but we loved the omelette!! Nice portions. The staff was attentive and very nice. We came on a Sunday morning and didn't have to wait for a table. Definitely recommend!

Mangosa and Mimosa

Stopped by Pure Bistro while looking for brunch places in Park Slope! They have a 2 for $10 mimosa deal that lured us in, and you can get it with orange juice, mango juice, or grapefruit juice. We grabbed the mangosa and the classic mimosa, would definitely recommend the mangosa if you prefer a sweeter drink and the mimosa if you prefer a more champagney drink. For food, we ordered the eggs benedict and the pure omelette. Eggs Benedict: Perfectly poached eggs! Tasted great. The muffin was a bit too hard though 7/10 Pure omelette: Delicious, loved the combination and the addition of avocado, no complaints. 8/10 Both dishes came with sweet potato fries which we had mixed opinions on, loved the crispy pieces but not the mushy pieces as much. Overall, great place with good service and would definitely recommend.

Build your Omelette! Healthy choices available:)

Highly into this spot! Stumbled upon this place & stopped only because the outdoor seating looked clean, food on tables looked great and the staff waved hello ;) they gave the option to pick from both regular and breakfast menu and made it a point to sanitize before I sat at the vacant table. I made myself an omelette with all the veggies, drank an ice coffee (very good) and finished with a ginger zinger for good health. #EATHEREITSGOOD

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

Got a TGTG order here. 11/10 I'd do it again…read more Brooklyn DOP actually originated as a pandemic business where my friend's personal trainer started baking pizzas outside of his Greenwood Heights apartment. When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Their pizza is SOOO perfectly crisp and charred, and actually is one of the closest pizzas that reminds me of the famous originals in Napoli.

Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.

I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista.
