I'm all things Yard House--seriously, I'm a major fan. Anytime I'm in a new town for work, I make it a point to visit a new location, and this one definitely delivered! What I love most (besides the great beer, of course) is how vegan-friendly their menu is--huge bonus that they stay open late too. It's perfect when you're looking for a solid meal after a long workday. The vibes were chill and relaxed, perfect for a solo dinner or hanging with friends. My server was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. This location is in a nice shopping center, and the parking garage right across from the Yard House makes getting in and out pretty convenient. I come to this location roughly once every 6 months when I'm in the area, service is always good. The reason why I am now leaving a review... Today I went on a Friday around 4pm and my server was Jeremiah. From his first introduction he was radiating positivity. Natural happiness was showing and he seemed really interested in helping me. I'm a big IPA guy and love trying new ones. Not only did he give me recommendations but he explained the notes and reasoning to them. He advised me it was happy hour and was patient while I made my decisions. Any server can recommend a beer and advise on happy hour. What made Jeremiah stand out from the rest is his excitement behind everything he said. I could tell his passion behind the IPA recommendations which sat very well with me. He made sure my water never fell below 1/4 full and exchanged a few jokes in his passing while checking in on me. My experience with him went so well on my way out I asked to speak to the manager. Ryan came over and I expressed my gratitude for the service Jeremiah provided me. I gave details on the interaction and I did advise I'll be leaving this Yelp review. Service like what Jeremiah provided isn't common. I'd put his personable skills up against any server I've had at a fancy steak house. I made sure he was tipped well (always cash) to show my appreciation. If you go to this yard house I recommend asking to be sat in his section. That's how much of an impact he made on my experience. My favorite place in town for beer. They have over 150 different beers on tap just insane. We happen to go during happy hr and ate literally a pig and spend 40 bucks. Crazy how a place this big can stay this clean, even the tidiness of their restroom was crazy. Our server was nice as they normally are and recommended a few things which were just great. The quality of their food is getting better. I wouldn't get the tortilla soup again. It's creamy and it upset my stomach. The nachos are always a good idea, kids Mac and cheese is a big portion and there was left overs to take home so my kid could have it later. I left my car on the third floor charging. And I chose to come downstairs by myself have a bite to eat and a drink. I have been here before several times with a date and I have been treated like royalty because I was with a man and the female bartenders were super friendly . Tonight was very disappointing n disgusting because those same female bartenders that were at the bar saw me by myself which I make six figures and I can pay without needing a date to pay for me and I would've tipped them very well. Choose to ignore me because unfortunately, I do not have a penis. I would've tipped them very good if the service was the same when I went with a guy. Visiting from out of town and stopped by The Promenade shopping center for the first time for lunch. We decided to eat at Yardhouse. We elected to eat outside as inside was almost packed and besides, it was noisy and loud. I relate all Yardhouse restaurants as noisy and loud inside LOL. The weather was perfect so sitting outside was great. After being seated, we were greeted by our server, Mark. His service was outstanding, very pleasant and attentive. For appetizers, we started with fried calamari and the four cheese spinach dip. Both were served promptly and piping hot. The spinach dip was delicious. The calamari was good too but a little burnt and rubbery-chewy for me. Our entrees were jambalaya with linguine, cheeseburger with fries, and chicken avocado sandwich with fries. The jambalaya was good with a kick of hot spices. The cheeseburger ordered medium was juicy and delicious. The chicken avocado sandwich was tasty and the chicken breast was moist. It was packed due to them absorbing Lazy Dogs business after their closure and Homecoming happening. However, our server Jonathon was WONDERFUL. He had such good energy and anticipated our needs as well as the tables around us. It took a little long to get our drinks, but like I said, it was super busy I'm sure the bartenders were doing their best and possibly they were short staffed. Wine tasted cheap. Took 2 sips and couldn't finish it. Tuna was not fresh. It was hard to finish it. Appetizers came after dinner. I actually ordered the poke nachos but they gave me the poke salad. I just kept it bc I didn't want to complain. Mg waiter did notice and told me they messed up and that was for a different table but since I already took a bite I was told him it's fine I'll keep it. Giving 5 Stars because their Happy Hour is worth 5 Stars!! Their Happy Hour is Mon-Fri 3-6pm. I appreciate the nicer location of this Yard House. My husband and I love having dates at Yard House during Happy Hour because we love the low cost, the deliciousness of the dishes we like and it's less busy and less noisy earlier in the day. I always order their Chicken Nachos with -no beans -no chips for a keto/low carb option and it's a 10 out of 10! Love that it's still a big portion size, I crave this dish all the time. My husband loves their BBQ Chicken Pizza (it's thin crust). We got our toddler their Happy Hour Chicken Tenders with fries which was cheaper than the Kids menu. The chicken was perfectly moist on the inside and he loved it. Their fries are nothing to write home about but they are decent with ranch. My daughter got their Happy Hour Cheeseburger Sliders, she ate it but she did say the burger patties were not very flavorful. We tried the Calamari for the 1st time and I wasn't a fan, it was medium on the rubbery scale. No big deal when it was only $8. First time visit, met up with a friend for happy hour. The ambiance was laid back with a bar/pub feel, but was a little on the louder side for my usual taste. The food was quick to come out and flavorful, we ordered a bunch of apps and I had my favorites and some were okay. I also loved my salted watermelon margarita on the rocks, but not so much the passion fruit mojito. Diane was very doting and checked in on us often even though we pretty much just ordered everything from the kiosk at our table, but as busy as it got, she still made it a point to stop by to see if we were doing well and I appreciate that. We definitely beat the big dinner rush, but hoping I can find a down time to visit where it's not so noisy. Being smack dab in the middle of the crazy mall also made parking hard to find. Love my local yard house in Oxnard, and this Temecula location did not disappoint! Ordered the steak bowl, hubby got the chicken nachos, and we shared the poke nachos which ALWAYS hit. Its pretty upsetting watching what ever manager was working tonight (10/2) at the end of happy hour belittling a man with his kid for wanting to move outside. The first words out of his mouth to the server was "Hey I came here from another table is it ok if I sit outside?" And and oh yeah, they are outstanding when it comes to beer. Just had dinner to celebrate my husband's and MIL's birthdays and it was super disappointing to say the least. We were a party of 10 and we ordered everything at once. The only positive was that our food came out fast but the rest of our service was horrible. 1) Fountain Drinks and an appetizer were forgotten and came almost 30 minutes after the rest of our food. 2) One of the food runner had an attitude and our server only came 3x to check on us. (Each time asking him why we didn't receive our items) 3) We told our server it was a bday celebration, he told us about a getting a small bday dessert and it never came. 4) The worst part was my BIL was eating a pickle spear and it had a small piece of a plate or glass. I mentioned it to one of the managers, she took the spear with the piece of glass that was left AND NEVER CAME BACK. I usually don't care about the small stuff, things happen all the time, but back to back mistakes and not even getting apology for at least the pickle mishap is crazy. We stopped for an early dinner at the Yard House recently in the Temecula Promenade and were very pleasantly surprised to realize that it was happy hour! I love that it's a nice long HH - 3-6pm, with 1/2 off all pizzas and a bunch of apps, $2 off draft beers, wine, spirits & cocktails, $3 off 9oz wine, and $4 off half yards. There's also a late night happy hour. Beer is their passion, and the list is crazy long and has something for any beer lover (which I am not!), including cider, kombucha, gluten-removed beers and flights. The cocktail list is long and interesting, as well. The wine list is the shortest - very pricey and no Temecula wines are offered. I started with the dragonfruit cosmo which would have been great except it was way too sweet for my taste (if ordering it again, I'd ask for much less agave). Would like to try the lavender drop next time..and will inquire about sweetness before ordering! Hubby a hazy IPA which he enjoyed. We sat outside which was lovely with a view of the nearby Promenade fountain. Even outside, there was a football game going on 2 tvs in our one not-terribly large patio area (which I could do without...but I get it!) It was quite loud inside. Also, the rest rooms were sooo dark - like a cave, and not maintained very well when we were there. Being happy hour, we ordered two pizzas - BBQ chicken and the carnivore. Both were good and a reasonable deal at half-off. The menu is really extensive, with many gluten-sensitive options. We enjoyed Yard House and would certainly return, especially for happy hour. Attentive service, good vibes, and delicious food makes this a place to go. The menu is pretty expansive, and the beer selection is amazing. Stopped in for lunch while doing some shopping. I've been to a few Yard House locations before, but never this one. Myself, wife, and daughter came in for lunch and a little break. We were seated almost instantly and the server came over shortly. We weren't drinking this day, but the beer list is extensive and if you're a beer drinker this is your place. Local beers, ciders, big names, they got them all! We ordered, I had the Cobb salad with blackened chicken, wife had the ahi nachos, and chicken strips for the little one! Cobb salad was good, it could've used a little more dressing. Salad came with edamame beans, radishes, corn, hard boiled eggs, and avocado. The blackened chicken was the highlight. It was seasoned perfectly and had just the right amount of spice. The poke nachos are always good. Ahi tuna with won ton chips and avocado chunks. Some green chilis on top and a spicy sauce as well. Frustrating experience with their online waitlist system (Friday 10/4/24) - we were excited to dine at Yard House for dinner before catching a movie at the nearby Edwards theater. We booked our movie tickets accordingly and planned to be at Yard House for their 3-6PM Happy Hour. The day of, I was glad to see that their website showed their estimated wait time as well as the ability to join the waitlist online. I continued to check the wait time before we left and it continuously said there was "No Wait! Come on in! We are ready to serve you." On the way over around 5:20PM, I decided to put my name on the waitlist just in case and it went through successfully. After sitting in Temecula traffic and arriving around 5:30PM, we were surprised to find the waiting area filled with people and that there was in fact a long wait. After checking in with the host, I was informed that I was removed from the online waitlist because "they don't take reservations on weekends" and that if I wanted to dine in, I would have to join the in-person waitlist that was estimated to be a 30-40 minute wait. Since we got added to the in-person waitlist at 5:30PM, she said there was no guarantee we would make it for the Happy Hour and offered no explanation or apology as to why their online waitlist was so convoluted. If we had known there was a wait, we would have planned to arrive earlier, picked another dinner location, etc. We ended up dining somewhere else due to time. Overall very disappointing experience in terms of how they manage their website waitlist system. read more

Great Service & Thoughtful Management! We stopped in for dinner and noticed that the portion sizes seemed a bit smaller than expected. Not a huge deal, but we casually mentioned it to our server Gracie who was amazing! To our surprise, the manager, Paul, personally came over to check in and genuinely thanked us for the feedback. To make up for it, they comped us desserts--and not just any desserts, but beautifully plated, absolutely delicious ones that really ended the night on a sweet note. It wasn't something we asked for or expected, but it really showed how much they care about the guest experience. I got the same thing I order every time I'm here, the Poki Nachos. I also ordered the House Amber Tripel with a whopping 9.0 alcohol and both were everything I wanted.
