My restaurant waiter, Mason - I can't say enough about this young man. I go to A LOT of restaurants, and the one thing that I always lookout for is superior service...and Mason, you sir have REMARKABLE customer service! Ordered some appetizers for a quick lunch. The spicy tuna stack was really good and only 550 calories! Nice combo of Asian flavors with a beautiful presentation. Unfortunately the chicken nachos were a bit disappointing. There were hardly any chips and not as good as we remembered. Prices have definitely gone up since the last time we ate here. We were a party of 12 on a Saturday (January 10th) evening, and we chose the Yard House to celebrate my husband's and his twin brother's birthdays. The place was packed as usual and because of the size of our party, our wait time was an hour. We didn't even mind the wait, we watched the games on the many tv's and visited with each other and before we knew it our party was called. The staff up front was so calm and courteous and really great at handling the very crowded wait area. Once we were seated Keith and Noelle went to work for our table and they never stopped working the whole time we were there! They were fantastic! They were very accommodating and attentive and always with a smile and a yes we can attitude! That's the kind of service that makes you forget about the long wait. Yard house is a great place to have a beer, chow down on some appetizers, and watch some sports. This place is fantastic, and although busy they always take care of you every step of the way. They have numerous TVs to catch every sport on tv, and they will change channels if you ask. Their beer selection is extensive and they offer beer flights. My family and I went on Saturday, September 27th for my mom's birthday (11 attendees) and the food and service was NOT good. It took forever to get our food and when it arrive, my mom, the birthday lady order was wrong and had to wait for a new order. After getting stuck in post holiday traffic alllllllllll the way down the 15, we were starving and needed real food. You see, we just spent 3 nights in a small town with super limited food options...and when you throw in the holidays and limited staff, every dining out experience was an ordeal. Might've come on an "off" day, but I'll never come back again. This is the second time I've come in here with each time worse than the last. We got seated and no one came by for at least 15 minutes. When the waitress finally did come by, she was incredibly rude. The food was sub par and when I requested the dressing for my salad, I was greeted with more attitude. I come to this location roughly once every 6 months when I'm in the area, service is always good. The reason why I am now leaving a review... Today I went on a Friday around 4pm and my server was Jeremiah. From his first introduction he was radiating positivity. Natural happiness was showing and he seemed really interested in helping me. I'm a big IPA guy and love trying new ones. Not only did he give me recommendations but he explained the notes and reasoning to them. He advised me it was happy hour and was patient while I made my decisions. Any server can recommend a beer and advise on happy hour. What made Jeremiah stand out from the rest is his excitement behind everything he said. I could tell his passion behind the IPA recommendations which sat very well with me. He made sure my water never fell below 1/4 full and exchanged a few jokes in his passing while checking in on me. My experience with him went so well on my way out I asked to speak to the manager. Ryan came over and I expressed my gratitude for the service Jeremiah provided me. I gave details on the interaction and I did advise I'll be leaving this Yelp review. Service like what Jeremiah provided isn't common. I'd put his personable skills up against any server I've had at a fancy steak house. I made sure he was tipped well (always cash) to show my appreciation. If you go to this yard house I recommend asking to be sat in his section. That's how much of an impact he made on my experience. What I love most (besides the great beer, of course) is how vegan-friendly their menu is--huge bonus that they stay open late too. It's perfect when you're looking for a solid meal after a long workday. The vibes were chill and relaxed, perfect for a solo dinner or hanging with friends. My server was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. This location is in a nice shopping center, and the parking garage right across from the Yard House makes getting in and out pretty convenient. I flew to LA and drove to Temecula to attend a concert at Pechanga Resort but was staying at the Holiday Inn Express near Promenade Temecula. I was killing time in the mall while waiting for my hotel room to be readied. I'd never been to a Yard House even though we have one in Honolulu so it was the perfect opportunity to try it and kill an hour. I sat at the bar and ordered a Hendricks gin & tonic and French Fries. Why so little food? I'd had a large breakfast at another venue in Promenade Temecula just a couple of hours ago. I did a bit of people watching while enjoying my drink and fries. I can't consider this a "normal" visit but it did give me a taste of the vibe at the Yard House. The drink was "just right" and the fries were crisp and tasty and not too salty. I have been here before several times with a date and I have been treated like royalty because I was with a man and the female bartenders were super friendly . My favorite place in town for beer. They have over 150 different beers on tap just insane. We happen to go during happy hr and ate literally a pig and spend 40 bucks. Wine tasted cheap. Took 2 sips and couldn't finish it. Tuna was not fresh. It was hard to finish it. Appetizers came after dinner. I actually ordered the poke nachos but they gave me the poke salad. I just kept it bc I didn't want to complain. Mg waiter did notice and told me they messed up and that was for a different table but since I already took a bite I was told him it's fine I'll keep it. Visiting from out of town and stopped by The Promenade shopping center for the first time for lunch. We decided to eat at Yardhouse. We elected to eat outside as inside was almost packed and besides, it was noisy and loud. I relate all Yardhouse restaurants as noisy and loud inside LOL. The weather was perfect so sitting outside was great. After being seated, we were greeted by our server, Mark. His service was outstanding, very pleasant and attentive. For appetizers, we started with fried calamari and the four cheese spinach dip. Both were served promptly and piping hot. The spinach dip was delicious. The calamari was good too but a little burnt and rubbery-chewy for me. Our entrees were jambalaya with linguine, cheeseburger with fries, and chicken avocado sandwich with fries. The jambalaya was good with a kick of hot spices. The cheeseburger ordered medium was juicy and delicious. The chicken avocado sandwich was tasty and the chicken breast was moist. Its pretty upsetting watching what ever manager was working tonight (10/2) at the end of happy hour belittling a man with his kid for wanting to move outside. The first words out of his mouth to the server was "Hey I came here from another table is it ok if I sit outside?" Just had dinner to celebrate my husband's and MIL's birthdays and it was super disappointing to say the least. We were a party of 10 and we ordered everything at once. The only positive was that our food came out fast but the rest of our service was horrible. 1) Fountain Drinks and an appetizer were forgotten and came almost 30 minutes after the rest of our food. 2) One of the food runner had an attitude and our server only came 3x to check on us. (Each time asking him why we didn't receive our items) 3) We told our server it was a bday celebration, he told us about a getting a small bday dessert and it never came. 4) The worst part was my BIL was eating a pickle spear and it had a small piece of a plate or glass. I mentioned it to one of the managers, she took the spear with the piece of glass that was left AND NEVER CAME BACK. I usually don't care about the small stuff, things happen all the time, but back to back mistakes and not even getting apology for at least the pickle mishap is crazy.
