Good quick and easy breakfast spot! Large space so also good for groups. Service welcomed us quickly and was friendly. I ordered a French Toast and Barbacoa Melt from their smaller-side lunch specials and was pleasantly surprised with the portions. Good amount of food and came out quick! I also got their Pineapple Matcha which was pretty good too. I wasn't a fan of the orange juice though since it tasted artificial. Overall a good affordable breakfast spot! read more

We've dined at various Broken Yolk locations over the years. Each has the same diverse menu and same great menu options. Visited this location many times and have had Vanessa and recently Angie as servers. Both were exceptional. Always kept coffee piping hot. If it wasn't, they fixed it no questions asked. It can get crazy busy any day of the week. Be prepared for a wait especially on weekends. The team keeps the wait as short as possible tho. Once seated, the team is always personable and friendly with prompt service. Keep on Yelp'n! read more

Sunday morning breakfast was delightful thanks to Brisa! She was the epitome of service with a smile even at 7 am Sunday after July 4th. I was the first customer of the day. Brisa greeted and seated me. I ordered the greek omelet with fresh fruit and english muffin. The omelet was made from egg whites and was packed! Upgrade to 4 stars since my last review! Thanks to Brisa for her sense of humor and great service! read more

From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. We were seated immediately with no wait, which set the tone for a smooth and enjoyable visit. The restaurant itself has a beautiful, cozy vibe--simple décor done just right. Nothing feels overdone, yet it creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotless and clearly well maintained, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was also a breeze with plenty of spaces available in the shopping complex. Now for the food--absolutely outstanding across the board. The chilaquiles were a highlight, featuring an amazing salsa with just the right depth of flavor and perfectly seasoned carne asada that complemented the dish beautifully. The tostadas were cooked to perfection: crispy and sturdy, holding up well before soaking in the salsa while still maintaining great texture. The avocado toast had an excellent consistency and was mildly seasoned in a hearty, satisfying way that let the freshness shine without overpowering it. For something sweet, the Nutella crepes were spot on. They were cooked just right--neither overdone nor undercooked--and had the perfect balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. Paired with a Bloody Caesar, which offered a fun and tasty twist on the classic Bloody Mary, the meal felt complete. The drink had a nice, mild spiciness, though it was a bit light on the alcohol--but still very enjoyable. A special shoutout to our server, Vanessa, who truly elevated the experience. She checked on us consistently without being intrusive, was always nearby when we needed something, and our food arrived incredibly fast. Her attentiveness and friendly attitude made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Overall, this place absolutely delivers--great food, excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a hassle-free visit. We'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others. read more

There was a day in time I'd wait hours to eat here! Back when I was in the OC, when the first opened it was the go to spot for myself and my fellow breakfast companions. Today we walked in around 830 on a Saturday. No line, but also no one was there to greet or seat us. I always think of Padema from Top Chef fame during restaurant wars, there was an episode where the host was there to greet initially or say goodbye to, and she made a comment about that. It's stayed in my head since. Service was ok, a little slow, blueberry smoothie tasted powdery, and came with whipped cream. Biscuits and gravy was ok, biscuit was dense and cold, like it had been in a fridge overnight taste. Not saying it was but that's what it tasted like. Sausage and bacon were great! Wife got the club sandwich and said it was ok. The fruit plate had a nice variety but the grapes were mushy and a little sour. read more

Tried this place for my birthday (brunch) last Saturday, and I'd honestly call it Mid. For being busy, the wait wasn't bad; they had a nice large location and moved people through. I liked our waitresses. That being said...I found it to be quite pricey: fifty bucks for 2 breakfasts with 1 coffee, before tip??? (Spoiler alert: the coffee and the sausage were the best parts.) Granted, the pancakes were GYNORMOUS...but TBH had no flavor. Hubby said the same about his biscuits. I actually took most of my pancakes home, and ended up just tossing them out...which is EXTREMELY RARE for me; I HATE wasting food. We told the hostess staff it was my birthday, and it basically got a yawn ( unlike the fanfare at other places). We won't be back bc there are so many other places that are so much better, for equal or much less money. Not horrible but definitely not great. read more

EGGS-EMPLARY FOOD! WOW, I loved my Mile High Omelette with green peppers, onion, ham, and cheese. It was light and very satisfying, perfect for brunch. I visited this location for the first time with my Mom and we had a blast. My meal came with wheat toast and a side of fresh fruit. My Mom and I asked for a side order (my favorite part of the meal) of short stack pancakes. The fluffy short stack pancakes (quantity of 2) were topped with banana slices and a bit of butter. Everything tasted great! I love that Broken Yolk has fun glasses for their drinks, my orange juice came in a tall, thin glass with a perfectly sized straw. Overall, the restaurant was tidy and our silverware was ready upon arrival. My only suggestion is that the restroom should be checked more frequently, there was toilet paper on the floor and a mess of water by the sink. The manager was very attentive! Additionally, our waiter was super polite and friendly. Shout out to Josue P., he was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave a great short stack recommendation. I loved the professional staff and service. Broken Yolk is near the freeway and not too far from the Temecula Promenade, it's centrally located. read more

I came here the other day to enjoy a late lunch hour. This place offers brunch options; which could be enjoyed until 2pm. My boyfriend and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak n Eggs with a side order of pancakes. This order was enough to feed 2 people and the brunch option was really decent. I think this restaurant is better than Denny's or IHop as well. Our waiters were really nice and there is plenty or parking. I would say the place is clean, but the workers might need to check the seats for some spilled food. read more

Came here as a pit stop to a wedding rehearsal to pick up some breakfast. We ordered the fiesta burrito - it is a wet breakfast burrito so we ordered the salsa on the side. I can't put my finger on what was missing but it was overall mediocre leaving me craving something with more flavor. I was deciding between this burrito or a breakfast sandwich and I immediately regretted my decision in choosing this burrito. We love the freshness of the food. We also like how friendly and caring the staff is. We always enjoy having breakfast or lunch with them.

Food, service, and ambiance were great!! Our server Brisa, was AMAZING !! We will definitely going back.

Food: lemon ricotta pancakes (not enough lemony flavor) combo with sausage patties (good good) and added another egg to make 3 with a side of home fries (good), Chai latte (yeas! warm and cozy feels), and apple juice (yeas! so fresh). Service: Vanessa is friendly and attentive. We went near closing time so take that as you will. Ambiance: we arrived 20 mins before closing. Not as busy. Food: French toast combo with a side of hash browns! Hash browns are AMAZING!! Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. French toast was delicious, eggs and bacon, perfect. I haven't ate at a Broken Yolk in many years. I did use them for catering last year for my birthday but more of that in a bit. So I was remembering their biscuits being massive and delicious so I wanted to see if that was still the case. They're just how I remembered them :) My husband ordered El Fuego Omelette which came with a side of hash browns and toast. Biscuit was an option so my husband was kind enough to share it with me. It's definitely shareable because it is bigger than your standard biscuit. Eat it immediately while it's hot and fluffy. I ordered the Wellness Health Wrap. It had egg whites, bell peppers, onion, spinach, and feta cheese, and came with a side of fruit. It was a perfect size and it was delicious. I was definitely impressed with their breakfast. So as mentioned earlier I use them to cater for my birthday brunch last year. Ordered breakfast burritos from them for about 20 people. I forgot the managers name but whoever it was in May of 2024, she was very sweet and thorough with pricing and accommodating with some of my requests. The burritos were a hit at my party. Very delicious and filling. I know there are so many breakfast spots in Temecula and I know Broken Yolk is a chain but the food is pretty darn good, good portion sizes, still reasonably priced, and friendly staff. Definitely will be returning. read more

This is my second time here and once again I was not disappointed. The dreamcicle drink is my absolute favorite. It's like an orange 50/50 ice cream. One of my favorites growing up. Today I ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken. With home fries. Everything taste great. The chicken was good with good flavors. The biscuits are made fresh. But really dry. The taste and quality is great. I would recommend more gravy but once again that is my preference. The waitress must have been reading my mind because she asked if I wanted more gray. Which I did. This is the kind of service you should always get when you go out. I tried one of the new fall items. Pumpkin express martini. I figured out I am not a pumpkin person. But I won't knock the drink. It was good. It is definitely something different to try. I totally understand why this place is always packed. The food is great. The service is great. read more

Came back yesterday because I actually enjoyed the food last time. We went around 12pm and was disappointed again. The same lady that didnt greet us last time at the podium was at the podium again and she is still very mad at the world! Service was worse this time, did not get utensils or a water, just the coffee i ordered. Server never checked on us during the meal, only when we waved him down to ask for utensils. Even after we asked for it he made it sound like we were inconveniencing him. Then after the meal the server gave us our check and asked for a yelp review. I hate bashing businesses but the service is so bad here that its uncomfortable. Never returning. read more

We visit this restaurant once or twice a year when we visit family. When we visited most recently, it was not quite morning time more of like a brunch. I decided to try the lemon ricotta pancakes this time. They were pretty good, but the only lemon taste is from the zest on top, I wish they had been more lemon-y. Plenty of pancake though, I couldn't finish it. My son had a kids meal with scrambled egg, a bacon and a sausage and he ate the whole thing so it must've been good. The service was a bit slow this time around, they did seem fairly busy, but there was no waiting to be seated. read more

Was greeted friendly and was given good service but it seems the main task fall on the server and the runners and bussers are eagerly walking around letting the server do the most... I understand that the main purpose of the server is to care but when you have one server for 10 tables on a Sunday morning poor thing couldn't even charge us.. waiting for 20 minutes for a bill and just to get charged out doesnt seem good for buisness. #helpagirlout read more
