After parking you'll walk inside the restaurant, check in with the host and be seated. The vibe inside the restaurant after entering is upscale, classic rock music playing, and high energy/loud. For drinks I ordered a bull city cider which was excellent along with a plate of chicken nachos. The chicken nachos are definitely big enough to share. It's March Madness and we went to watch women's ball. We had a few appetizers and some beer. The Pizza was good and even better the next day heated in the oven. The Brussels were very tasty and nice and big. The drizzle was good and so was the dipping sauce. The Queso is always a hit, we tried it with the ground beef this time and yes it was great. I like it with the Pita, my GF likes the chips. There's never any left. Now let me tell you about this Tuna. If you like sushi if you don't like sushi, you must give this a try. We were in town for a track meet and after being out all morning, this was a wonderful experience. Of course we're in the middle of March madness so there were multiple TVs throughout the restaurant and it didn't matter where you sat in your booth. TVs were in your view. Service was with a smile every time.. Now let's get to the food. The Aji tuna salad and the Aji tuna stack for both incredible. They were fresh became with wonton chips on the side that were crunchy and after being outside all morning and into the afternoon, it was just what we needed. To that point, someone else had the bacon cheddar burger and fries and said it was very juicy and fries were crunchy. Everyone shared in the fries. We had two birthdays at the table, so got the chocolate lava cake and the whiskey, caramel butter cake. First time went to a Yard House, it has great atmosphere with the USA Soccer Team in the World Cup games. Our server Tiffany is amazing, we are fast and explained what is her favorite dishes to us. The portion was nice and it was cooked well but lacked flavor. Without the glaze on the side, it wouldn't have been enjoyable. I had loaded mashed potatoes as my side. Also just ok. The place is big and loud. Even if a game had been on, it would have been difficult to see and enjoy. I would have expected more tvs for a place that's a sports bar. I've been on a Brussels sprouts binge lately and let me tell you, these Yard House Brussels are Elite. Crispy, Smokey, sweet and medium spicy. I would absolutely recommend if you are a fan of some heat! The calamari was well seasoned, you can tell they seasoned the batter. I also had a lychee martini, it was strong and sweet. Went for Mother's Day. I hate the parking just because of where it's located. It's so busy and no set parking. The wait wasn't too long. There was about 7 of us, and they put us in a large booth. It wasn't too bad. They have a lot of options to choose from. I ended up getting a burger. I got it well done, but they pretty much burned it. The burnt flavor was overpowering. I wanted to send it back, but we had already waited 45 minutes to get our food. Other tables with 5-7 people sat down after us and still got their food before we did. I came to Raleigh for a work trip. We found this cute little area with several options to eat. The menu at Yard House looked appealing and I have not been here before. When ordering our food, we asked the waiter to bring our salads first and then the other dishes later. This didn't happen. All the food except the spicy tuna stack was delivered at the same time. The brussel sprouts were good. The spicy tuna stack was ok. It was very fresh but missing something. The house salads were fresh and our favorite dish. My colleague ordered the chicken nachos. She said they would have been better had they come out after the salad. By the time she was done with her salad they were cold. Other than this, the service was good. I know it's not fair to compare this to other authentic cheesesteaks but I hate when the Cheesesteaks don't mix their cheese with the meat and they just throw 2 slices of cheese on top. It's a pet peeve of mine because it makes the sandwich dry almost, and even with the garlic aioli it still was dry. Came here to watch women's ncaa basketball tournament and I didn't know they had a Happy Hour. We sat at the bar which I'm not usually a fan of, because I feel you get lost with all the task they have. Full disclosure I had gone a couple of weeks before with my mom and the wait was an hour plus but I saw some seats at the bar and we grabbed them. I was not happy with the service we received, but today was a different story. It could've been the time we were there, but I didn't want Jenna to wait on me. I can't say who helped us, especially since the receipt had Kay and Savannah but we had a gentleman. We started off with a flight of beers and we chose our next drink based on what we liked and ended up with Give 'em Helles. For the food, we tried several items, which for happy hour was half priced. The pizza was good, the tuna sashimi was great and the Brussels sprouts were good, but I felt they weren't as crispy as they were supposed to be and I blame that on the sauce they put on the top. They have outdoor seating and plenty of tvs to watch the games, it's a very loud place due to this while they also play good tunes. I would definitely recommend checking out the place. read more

I'm typically disappointed with restaurant food and rightfully so?!? I usually relegate restaurants to the weekends, meltdown days, or social events. Either myself or a family member cooks during the week. After having a near meltdown, I settled on Yard House. I've eaten here 8++ years ago and wasn't necessarily impressed. This particular Friday must have been graduation celebration day, as it was pretty packed with large groups for a 3pm Friday dining time. I'm dubbing this best restaurant meal of the week, maybe month! Weekday between 3-5 selected apps are 50% off. Late lunch partner opted for calamari and Brussels sprouts appetizers. I opted for the Asian inspired pork chop with cauliflower, quinoa, veggie medley. The apps were solid. Calamari light flour dredge, not too chewy, faint "fishy" smell. Brussel sprouts coated in Korean inspired savory & sweet glaze (slight bitter taste). Both appetizers accompanied by a dipping sauce(s). Generous portions. I opted for a bone in Asian inspired pork chop. Meat moist and not too salty with a good sear. I was concerned about cauliflower rice, not to fear. Minimal cauliflower rice and the soy based sauce gave the veggie medley plenty of flavor. Finally, there was a sweet and sour dipping sauce that balanced the meal well. Service was fine. If I had to guess they were short staffed on our visit. Our server checked on us several times, but we did have to request drink refills. Atmosphere is dark and could possibly be loud. We had no problem hearing each other. Good for groups with a reservation, solos, friends, girl nights, etc. Menu is expansive and price point large enough that MOST people should find something they like. I visited Yard House for the first time a couple of weeks ago on a Friday during happy hour, so it was understandably busy. That said, it did take quite a while to get seated and then to have a server assigned to our table (party of 4). Once our waiter, Malik, was finally assigned, everything shifted in the best way. The service improved immediately, and he was attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. We tried several appetizers--each one was delicious, came in generous portions, and was perfect for sharing. Malik also let management know we had been waiting for a while, and he helped keep things moving so we could get our food. Tiffany, the manager, came over to apologize, adjusted our ticket, and made it clear that our business was valued. I was really impressed by the professionalism and how they owned the mistake and made it right. Tiffany and Malik absolutely provided excellent service! It's a bit pricey but it puts fusion into a classy dish and creates a palate of umami and savory flavors. I tried my friends Chicken and Vegetables and it was very good too. The table service here was outstanding! I wish I could take that waitress with me all over. Another bummer for girls' weekend. I went as a recommendation from a friend. Friday evening is a busy time for this spot. The atmosphere was NOISY. They were a bit bland and didn't have the flavor or presentation I was expecting from Yard House. I probably wouldn't order those again, but everything else was delicious. My husband tried a few of the tacos including the Korean chicken taco, the vampire style taco, and the brisket taco with birria sauce. He said all of them were really good, especially the brisket one Our server was friendly, checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed.
