    Burger with Brussels sprouts

Tasty food and quiet atmosphere. Staff members were fast, kind, and attentive. We enjoyed having dinner here. I went with my son. He loved his burger. This is in a new part of town in Raleigh. I would definitely come back.

We love Iron oaks it is always delicious. The brussels sprouts are my favorite thing on the menu. Which is big, because I also love their mushroom Swiss burger, the truffle Parmesan wings and their fries. It's a great place to go for a drink. It's great for outdoor patio dining. I love to sit outside and dine. We love the golf simulator to practice our golf swings on rain or cold days. We have always had the best service. I do wish they would have a couple more non-alcoholic beer options besides untitled, but that's only suggestion.

This place is definitely tucked away and hidden. We hadn't ever heard about it yet stumbled upon it. Many times we drive down Glenwood past Crabtree Valley Mall and see this area off Women's Circle Drive. The area has been around forever but was always businesses in the past. We had heard that it was turning into a destination for new apartments & restaurants. We decided to drive in & explore. There were a couple of restaurants & shops. It was an early Saturday evening and we had already eaten dinner but decided to pop in and see what was offered. It is pretty inside with dark chairs/tables and a couch area. There also is a beautiful waterfall fountain on the outside but still too hot for us to sit outside. Not very many people there but again it was on the earlier side for dinner. The bartender was super friendly & helpful. We were shocked when he said they had been opened for 4 years. The menu is bar food but not your regular bar food. They put their own spin on the food to elevate your typical bar food. We tried the nachos and the chips were covered with some special spice. They had a big craft beer selection that included several sour & cider beers for those of us who don't like regular beer. Similar to some breweries, they provided a small selection of board games & books to enjoy. It was kinda quiet w/several millennials there but then a couple families with young children showed up. The special secret of this place is that hidden behind a wall were Golf Bays. The GolfZon simulators let you play a full 18 using the driving range and Swing Analysis. Now I don't play golf but these golf simulators can be fun for the whole family. This place was such a nice surprise. Raleigh is so unique and has so many different parts of town. Goes to show that you never know what you will find unless you explore.

This restaurant is kind of hidden from the road unless you know it's there. There is a parking structure near the business. Seating is available inside and outside. We sat at a table with high top chairs and was approached by our server right away. He was very helpful and nice. I got an order of Thai chili ranch wings and an apple Gorgonzola salad. The salad was recommended by our server. The salad had a lot of greens on it. Both were good.

We got drinks at The Iron Oaks while waiting for our table at nearby Sushi Mon. Sushi Mon has some of the best sushi in the Triangle, by the way: https://www.yelp.com/biz/sushi-mon-raleigh The drinks and service at The Iron Oaks were good. This is a relatively-new bar and lounge located on the ground floor of one of the office buildings at Glenwood Place. The Iron Oaks serves food too -- small, shareable plates + burgers and sandwiches. At the bar, the big-screen menus had dozens of beers on tap. The wine list was sizable. Our group got cocktails. There were about 10 cocktails available. My wife had The Iron Margarita ($13) and I had the Mulligan Mule ($13). Both were well made, balanced, and tasty. Simple presentation. The Iron Margarita came with Lunazul Reposado Tequila, Cointreau orange liqueur, and housemade sour mix. The Mulligan Mule is The Iron Oaks' version of the Moscow Mule. It was made with Tito's Handmade Vodka, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and Goslings Stormy Ginger Beer. There were TVs playing sports around the bar. Homey furniture was used for the lounge spaces (e.g., tufted couches and chairs, coffee tables). It was a mix of both traditional and contemporary furniture. The indoor and outdoor dining spaces consisted of modern high-tops with Tolix (or Tolix-style) stools. Inside, a glass fireplace separated the bar and lounge areas. Outside, they have a fairly-spacious patio that's mostly covered. Hidden off to the side are two golf simulators. You can bring your own clubs if you want. I saw some guy walk in with his bag. While we were here, on a Saturday after 6pm, there was some sort of event (shower) going on. This does look like an ideal event space for smaller gatherings. Plenty of free parking is available in the adjacent deck at 3705 National Drive. Service was friendly and efficient. The men's room was out of soap and paper towels. This is in an interesting spot in the middle of a business park, retail, and apartments. I easily found parking on the street right outside, but there is also a parking deck right by it as well. Quite a bit of seating outside (covered) with portable heaters. We sat at a high top for 4 people. There are also couches you can sit at. Decent craft beer selection and you can get flights. They also have a cocktail menu, but I didn't look at it. The food was good. The fries that came with my Buffalo chicken sandwich were average and nothing special. The nachos my friend ordered as an appetizer were, unfortunately, a bit cold. They have a golf simulator thing in the back for those interested in it.

I have been to iron oaks a handful of times and every time the food has been delicious! I honestly think they have the best fries in all of Raleigh! And the beer selection is always excellent, I never have a problem finding something that I like to drink. And they let you try samples to see beer you like, which is very appreciated! The food menu is limited but everything on it is really good. I highly recommend this place!

Fun well stocked bar with reasonable prices. Nice selection of draft beers. Comfy couches and chairs for a relaxed atmosphere.

We came here on a Sunday night and it was packed at all. We ordered at the counter and ordered a pineapple seltzer they had on tap and it was absolutely delicious!! We ordered a caesar salad to share and it was phenomenal. The portion probably wouldn't have been enough for one person. Loved the cheese crisp on top! We ordered a chicken & pulled pork nacho to share as well. It was topped with bbq sauce, beans, jalapeños, and queso. Only thing i wished was that were more veggies on it (tomato and lettuce really). The portion was a great size and perfect for sharing. My husband and i left full and satisfied. There is a parking garage right next to the building. The restaurant is located in a corporate building. Service was great. Highly recommend!

They have a very extensive inventory of bourbons including all the high-end ones you would want. They don't serve food, so it's a good place to come after dinner. The ambiance is simple, a wooden bar and now that they have expanded, they have some tables as well. For those that follow me on Yelp for brewery reviews, cocktail bar reviews are few and far between. So if I make a point of making a visit, it really is special. Great selection of product (I guess) but what I appreciate is the care and attention each glass is prepared by the bar keep. They are very friendly and knowledgeable - which is good for me, b/c I ask a lot of questions! Service is careful, but does crawl if the house is full, it really is tiny inside - did you know there was a back door, patio area? I particularly like the absence of having to yell at my table mates - it makes this barbour more sophisticated in this respect.Everything, right down to the outside marquee is subtle - and we like leaving the madding crowd far away...

I came here for drinks and dessert with friends, and the star of the show was definitely the beignets. As someone who has visited New Orleans and tried the real deal, I thought I knew what good beignets tasted like. Turns out, I did not have to travel that far after all! The beignets here are like a cross between a classic beignet and a croissant. Light, fluffy, and just the right amount of indulgent. I will definitely be back to check out more of the menu, but no matter what, I am saving room for the... say it with me... beignets!!

The Service was outstanding thanks to Hayley. Her recommendations for pairing the drinks with the food were flawless, and each drink was prepared like a work of art. I started with the raw oysters, paired with a glass of Rose, which I loved. They switched from the Halibut with Fennel to Mahi with Forbidden Rice. The rice is black and inky and potent and extraordinary, but it overwhelmed the fish completely. Still greatful I got to experience it, but I would pair it with something more gamy like lamb or goat. The Pecan pie with warm salted caramel ice cream was nothing short of a spiritual experience, and Hayley's recommendation to pair it with Rum Flip was perfect. Yes, I Ubered. Overall, this one is going to be a frequent hangout.

If it's a beautiful day, I'd definitely recommend sitting outside instead. Still, the inside has a cozy, laid-back feel that works well. Shoutout to Qua, who was both the hostess and our server. She was welcoming, attentive, and handled everything smoothly, even as a few more parties came in while she was the only one serving at the time. One thing I really appreciated was that she let us know upfront what items were out of stock before we even looked at the menu. That level of transparency is huge and makes the experience so much better. My son ordered a slider with fries from the kids' menu. It comes with just one slider, so I ordered a second, definitely the right call. He enjoyed it, and the fries were cooked well, just a little on the salty side for our taste (ketchup helped balance that out). I had the shrimp tacos. It's packed and perfect portion for lunch. The shrimp, pineapple slaw, and chipotle mayo was a nice mix. The restaurant was clean (including the bathrooms). The location is also a plus, super close to the Art Museum, which makes it a great stop before or after visiting. I ordered their new Salmon BLT and my friend ordered the Meat Lovers Omlette that was served with gouda grits. The salmon blt lived up to my expectations. It was light but filling and super flavorful. The star is the red onion and dill aioli. My only complaint is the bread. It's tasty bread, it's just not sturdy enough fpr all of the sandwich ingredients. I would have appreciated if it were something thicker or served as an open faced sandwich. The sweet potato fries were fresh and crispy. The fresh pepper sprinkle on them gave them a new dynamic for me. My friend enjoyed the meat lovers omelet and she let me taste the gouda grits. OMG talk about flavor. I'm going back just for those damn grits!! I like very textured grits and these were that on top of perfectly seasoned and cheesed! Geeze!!!!!!!!!! Besides their massive wall of spirits, another component that i appreciated was their inclusive restroom offerings. The door signs are genius! This place looks like it's also great in the evening and late night. They certainly earned a customer in me! Can't wait to go back for more grits!!!!
