I really really really want to say Yard house is the safest bet when we are hungry, but i can't even say that anymore. Service lacks every single time we go there. Bar always has many bartenders which I don't get why service still drags with barely any customers there. I bartend and can handle customers at the bar and tables... and I work with an actual purpose where I want to make money. These bartenders are slow and work like they aren't tip pooling. They don't even acknowledge you to let you know you are seen...food used to be the safe option where you can count on them, but THE FOOD HAS BEEN UNFRESH, OVERLY SALTED OR BLAND. like I don't even know what to say anymore... sigh the octoberfest food all sounds so good, but i got the porkchops and they were undercooked and extremely SALTLY. THE chicken caesar?! How do you mess up a chicken caesar, it tasted like someone dumped a bottle of Parmesan cheese and salt on top. Terrible. The only edible thing we ate tjat day was the black sashami...

Stopped by the newly opened Yard House at Tysons Galleria for their happy hour. Got their Kurobuta Pork Burger and a large assortment of appetizers. The burger was alright, I mainly got it because I never had a pork burger before. Of the appetizers, the calamari, chicken tenders, and blackened ahi sashimi are a must get. Everything else is your standard fare. Good place to hangout with some friends with some decent food.

Food: 8/10 - - 5/10 The onion rings were okay but they weren't hot like they were fresh out of the fryer . The sauce was good with them though, but I only ate a few because I felt like it was starting to my stomach queasy. I probably wouldn't order them again. My friend also was not feeling them. - 8/10 The lobster garlic noddles were great but I felt like it needed a sauce like some type of soy garlic flavored sauce or similar to bring some wetness to the meal. But the flavor was good! - 10/10 Broccolini was great! I can't tell by the smell and taste that it was charred on the grill which was how I like it cooked. It was well seasoned too. Service: 8/10 Had great service! The hosts and waitresses were welcoming and kind. I do feel like the tables should already have silverware so I had to request it in order to eat my food. Ambiance: 8/10 I like the vibe here. My friend calls it an "upscale Friday's" lol. Prices were not too bad tho. Overall: 7.8 /10 I will be back but try something different

Came back and this time we made the mistake of sitting inside where it was so loud we were barely able to carry on a conversation without yelling. I must say the service is really bad and super slow.

We ordered chicken tenders with truffle fries, spinach dip and tuna tortillas. I really enjoyed the truffle fries. Chicken tenders were a bit fishy with some weird tastes. Service was okay, no water for the first 20 minutes though. Great happy hour deals on appetizers.

We went here for the knicks vs spurs nba game and the bar was packed. There was a 25 min wait which I didn't expect for a bar in Tyson's. It's located in the galleria and has free parking which is amazing! We were seated at the booth and were able to watch the game smoothly. We went after dinner so we only got a fries to share and a couple of drinks. The drinks were great and the Parmesan truffle fries were amazing too. We'll definitely come back for an evening out here!

I came here for a friend's birthday dinner. The place was packed and had many TVs around playing the current game. Food wise, this place is okay, it is an average American place serving bar food. I ordered a Passion Fruit Spritz and it took a while to come out. I did have to ask for it a second time and my drink came out last. I ordered the Shiitake Garlic Noodles as my entree but it is listed as an appetizer. It was pretty basic which I didn't mind. The dish consisted of lo mein styled noodles, butter, garlic and shiitake mushrooms. The noodles were cooked well and I liked the flavor. Overall, it was just alright. The price was very high for one drink and one appetizer dish. My total was about $30 including tip and tax.

I was under crunch time because my movie was starting in an hour, so I had no time to dilly dally lol. My server's name was Mya, and she was amazing! She got my order and drink in so fast that I was in and out in 45 minutes. Pro tip: if you're in a rush, sit at the bar if you can and pay early, because if your server gets swamped... welp ‍. I ordered the Salted Watermelon Margarita and the Poke Nachos, my go-to when I'm keeping it light. Next time I'll probably try the Picante Margarita (I love a spicy marg!). Here are a few items I recommend from that loooong menu to help you avoid information overload lol: Drinks: * Old Fashioned * Salted Watermelon Margarita (ask for it spicy if you're about that life) Apps: * Poke Nachos (get them during happy hour if you can) * Spicy Tuna Stack * Crispy Brussels (it was bad one time, please don't do that again YH lol) Entrees: * Spicy Jambalaya * Sesame Crusted Ahi * Any of the burgers The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and overall I can't complain. I've even had a few dates here lol. It's definitely a good spot to relax, but fair warning, it gets loud. Saying "speak up, Sonny or missy!" is not attractive, lol. Parking is right out front, and they have car charging stations too. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm.

Been here twice and loved the service and food both times. I ordered the calamari and chicken wings from the Apps menu and both were great. Had a dragonfruit cosmo which was AMAZING! It was a nice place to sit and actually hear the person across from you. Would def come back

Happy Hour, Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm The service was very good and shoutout to the manager for saving the day with picking a dessert. My drinks weren't the best, only the Hawaiian mule I actually liked. I had the Lavendar drop and the salted watermelon margarita and those were a no for me. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the spinach dip and those were good. The brownie dessert is the only one worth getting really. Large space with lots of seating inside and outside.

Stopped by on a Monday night around 9pm and had Kyle as our server. He was very quick and attentive. Our food came out as requested. We asked to split the orange chicken and swap out the jasmine rice for spicy rice. Waters were refilled frequently. He did an amazing job as our server and we had a great Monday night dinner.

10/10 experience! I was definitely skeptical because of it being a chain restaurant... however I was pleasantly surprised!! Johnny was our server and was super positive, informative, and quick. The food came out quickly but well presented. We ordered two appetizers- the Cheese Curds and the Poke Nachos. Both EXCELLENT. The poke nachos were absolutely delicious- light, crunchy, and yummy. I got the Cumin Chili Shrimp tacos- they were crunchy and yummy. Good seasoning. I got corn tortillas. I ordered the Downeast Blackberry Cider which was also delicious. It was definitely very sweet but in a good way! The booth was spacious and TVs were playing. It wasn't too loud- you could hear each other talk, it was a good mix of sounds. Would definitely return!

Overpriced with terrible service. Stopped in here for a drink during happy hour and ordered a Vodka and soda, double. I saw the bartender splash only a tiny bit of vodka in a glass, without measuring it and my drink tasted like just soda water. The price for that was insane and on top of that, the bartender was not the least bit friendly. Would never go back.

We had an incredible experience celebrating a birthday at Evelyn Rose!…read more The menu is exciting, seasonal, and features a TON of local options and farms- you can taste the difference. We decided to start by sharing the wagyu carpaccio, the fried green tomatoes, and an appetizer portion of the cavatelli- I really like that you can do appetizer portions of both pastas on rotation on the menu here. We were also brought two pieces of focaccia with incredibly flavorful olive oil (yum!). The cavatelli and the fried green tomatoes were standouts for us, the pasta had a great chew and the bolognese was really flavorful. The fried green tomatoes came topped with a pimento cheese that was incredible. For our entrees, we opted for the braised bison shoulder and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly prepared and were a very generous portion. The bison shoulder was so tender and the accompaniments were incredible- this was a perfect fall dish. We also got the charred sweet summer corn, which was delicious and came studded with the lightest goat cheese, and rustic Old Bay potatoes, which were absolutely perfectly fried and came with a side of some honey mustard. We took a good amount of the sides home and they held up for a day or two! I was really impressed with the wine list here- there were a lot of solid options. The champagne in particular was excellent (and I am picky!). Our server, who I believe was Riley, really made it a special night. He was so attentive and had excellent suggestions. One touch that was so thoughtful was that we had declined dessert because we would be having birthday cake later, but mentioned that the banana tres leches sounded so good. He brought over a scoop of the banana ice cream that's typically on top of that dessert with a candle in it! It was so kind of him to listen to us but still recognize that it was a special occasion- and it was some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time (he said it is made in house every day with duck eggs, it was so rich and flavorful). We have already booked our return reservation here! Thanks to Evelyn Rose for a wonderful night with such memorable food.

My husband has the ribeye with fresh veggies and a side of the beef fat fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were so good! We passed on dessert as I couldn't even finish my meal. It was all quite good. The service was high end. Ashley was very attentive and our water glasses were never empty. We will definitely be back!

My mom is extraordinarily sensitive to anything remotely "spicy"--even black pepper can be a problem, and sometimes arugula! Our server David listened carefully to her concerns and made sure the chef knew exactly what she needed. The kitchen modified her dish accordingly, and she was able to enjoy a delicious meal without worrying about what might be in it. But the food was only part of what made the evening so enjoyable. David and Ceara were both fantastic--warm, attentive, and incredibly personable. They really listened to Mom and made an effort to engage with her. Mom eventually started telling jokes, including a few that were definitely on the bawdy side. David and Ceara were wonderful sports and laughed right along with her. They made her feel welcome rather than simply accommodated, and that distinction meant a lot to all of us. Clarity gave us delicious food and excellent service, but more importantly, they helped make my mother feel celebrated on her 91st birthday. A memorable evening and a restaurant I'm very happy to recommend.

Chef Jon Krinn's menus and his warm, personal touch with diners made the place special. After he left, Chef Tracy O'Grady admirably revived it with creative new menu concepts, and under Chef Danny Ahn the brand has now expanded to a Reston location. Through it all, bartender Victor has been a steady, caring presence -- even as service slowed and courses started taking a long time to arrive. After one visit where we waited 50 minutes for dessert, we stayed away for a while. We decided to come back to celebrate our anniversary. The new manager, Jeff Miller, and the rest of the staff greeted us warmly, but the dining room was nearly empty, and the air conditioning was set to meat-locker levels. Victor had the day off. Clarity is known for a daily-changing tasting menu, and we were looking forward to that night's advertised special -- giant tiger prawns, lobster and black truffle risotto, and venison. Instead, we were handed a menu with octopus, cod loin, and duck -- solid dishes, but standard fare you'll find at plenty of restaurants in the area, not the standout the website promised. We ordered from the regular menu instead. For appetizers, we each got the grilled Wellfleet and Old Salt oyster platter. For entrées, my spouse ordered the yellowfin tuna with tiger shrimp; I asked if I could get the Maryland soft-shell crabs as an entrée with two crabs instead of one. The waiter said no and suggested I add a sweet corn bisque to round out the meal. When he mentioned to the manager that we were unhappy, Jeff offered to plate two crab appetizers together for double the appetizer price. I happily agreed. The manager explained that website updates were no longer handled in-house, that the tasting menu posted online hadn't actually been available for months, that other guests had complained about the same thing, and that the takeout/pickup menu was also wrong -- to the point that he' had just contacted customers to tell them their online orders couldn't be fulfilled. Service was slow, and the waiter never told us which oysters were Wellfleet and which were Old Salt. To kitchen's credit, the portions were generous, properly cooked, and genuinely tasty. The dessert menu seemed uninspired, so I asked about a double shot of Angel's Envy rye instead. It had always been reasonably priced when Victor poured it -- generously, too. This time, I overheard the manager quote the waiter $56. A 750ml bottle (25 oz) currently retails at Virginia ABC for about $75, or $3/oz -- so $56 for a double shot works out to about $18.67 per ounce. I said that wasn't acceptable. At that point, the manager repeated, for the fourth time, that he was still on the phone trying to get the website fixed. I told him his reiterated efforts might help future diners, but it didn't help us that evening. He said Victor had trained him and that he was charging what Victor would charge -- I told him I didn't believe that, since Victor had always been fair and accommodating. I also said that as the manager overseeing service, he should be checking the website' daily for accuracy himself. He then offered to pay for my "cocktail" out of his own pocket. Before I could point out that a shot of whiskey isn't a cocktail, my spouse asked him to just leave us alone. We paid and left feeling genuinely sad to see a restaurant we loved fall this far.
