Incredible! I got the Nashville chicken burger and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was remarkably quick and our waitress was very pleasant, the right mixture of attentive and polite. There is a low calorie section of their menu, but it definitely didn't look appetizing. read more

Whenever we're heading to Fenway, we plan a trip to the Yard House either before or after... sometimes, both! The service can get a bit slow when it's super busy, but I think that's par for the course for most restaurants. If they'd staff up to meet the volume, they'd make more money by turning tables over faster, but so be it. The food has been consistently good and the beer selection is decent. They definitely have a prime location and the atmosphere is always lively, no matter what time of day it is. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic evening, this isn't the place, but it would definitely lend itself well to a birthday party or some other celebration where the loudness of the restaurant isn't detracting from the ambiance. read more

The general manager Mike Hennessy is the consummate model for customer service. after traveling from CA and attempting to get to Boston, being diverted to Connecticut - we arrived at the Yard House in the Marriott Copley at 9pm (after 15 hours of traveling). we were told it was going to be a 30 minute wait and we hadn't eaten - United flight ran out of food! When general manager Mike saw our faces and our totally fatigued demeanor - he took us over to the lounge, got us drinks and an appetizer and told us to relax until our table was ready which needless to say he expedited. This location is convenient if you are staying at the Marriott but I'd recommend going anywhere but here. Service is awful they are not accommodating to larger parties, almost make you feel like your business is an inconvenience. I'd recommend not putting them out and going somewhere else. Restaurant is part of the Marriott so ate here 3 times during a trip (2 breakfasts and 1 dinner). Service on 2x was comical. Waitress totally disappeared and restaurant wasn't even crowded. The host had to refill our water glasses. The turkey club is bland and tastes like cold cuts. The poke nachos are too spicy. However the French toast was very good. Overall, I would skip Yard House unless you're staying at the hotel and want the convenience it provides for guests. read more

Went to Yardhouse for Happy hour and was greeted with the most miserable waitress. Not only were we pressured into quickly ordering but the Chicken tender and Fries appetizer was the equivalent of a kid's meal. Also, the fries that we had upgraded to truffle fries were inedible and tasted as if they had sat in the kitchen overnight. Save yourself the trouble and get McDonald's. read more

I can't believe what went down when I came here. I used to go to their location in Fenway all the time, it was great. This place, not so much. I am not sure what has changed over the years but seriously, they need some adjustments or an entire revamp. I was there to watch the game & got there early to claim a seat at the bar. I asked for water & if the game would be on, he said, yeah it will be on all the tvs. Well that was an out right lie. While I perused the menu to find something vegan, (they changed their menu for the worse) more & more people came in to grab tables or snag a seat at the bar. The person a few seats down asked about the game as well. It is now ten minutes before game time & still no channels have been changed. Some more time goes by & it's literally three minutes before & so I ask again he said yes, yes, it will be on. SERIOUSLY?!! It is now game time & still NOTHING. Somebody gets up to find another person to see about changing it. It is now several minutes after the semi finals have started & they finally turn it on. People go there for the tvs, not really for anything else. Never again at this joint, not worth the aggravation. read more

Probably one of the most inconsistent service you will ever get. One night the bartender will be so helpful and quick to help and the next you will wait forever. The food is terrible, flavor less or too spicy, nothing in between. Always too loud inside and something uninteresting on the TVs. I will not return. Disappointed by the service. Showed up to watch Liverpool match 2.0 minutes before start. Sat at the bar and asked bartender if could change channel on 1 of the many TVs. Told me she had to get a manager to do it, but 20 minutes later nothing had changed so I found manager myself. She changed the channel but to the non-HD version which made it almost impossible to see the action. On the other hand, the food was good for a chain sports bar. read more

We were here Sunday night for drinks and snacks. Bar was busy but not crazy... yet service was impressively nonexistent. It seems that the staff were adamant that we only get help from our server. We couldn't get a container for ketchup for 20 min... I asked for a small glass from the bar but was rudely dismissed and refused... on another note, one server was kind enough to offer help with their tablet ordering service when we wanted a second round, but we were told "I got this, one second", before he disappeared and never came back after 10 min. For a two hour visit, we got the chance to order one round of drinks and an order of fries. I wish Marriott had a friendlier lobby bar. :( read more

Food was good value on the whole but I don't recommend ordering a bowl of fruit diff breakfast. 5 pieces of melon a few slices of strawberry and a couple of blueberries for almost $7 isn't good value as far as I am aware. We went here because of the convenience when we stayed at the Marriott. The food was either bad or mediocre. We had a chicken lettuce wrap. The wrap did not hold and the chicken was extremely salty. The cobb salad was cobbled together and had no taste. The guacomole was watery. Then they charged us for the kiosk games without bothering to tell us that there was a fee. Maybe that is why the service was so slow. Some places will do anything to squeeze an extra buck or two out of you. This is one of them. read more

The most unimpressive staff imaginable. We stopped for a drink and a bite to eat on the way home, ordered our food and beverages at the bar. The bar was steady, but not overly busy. We had to wave down the servers to order... when we got their attention, very little care was given or attention to detail. I ordered a burger, wrapped in lettuce. The menu says it comes with a side salad or fries - but was delivered, about 20 minutes later, a la carte, with the meat still moo'ing. I wasn't asked how I wanted my burger. My husband ordered a burger as well. His came out done, with fries. We asked for ranch, it took another 10 minutes for them to bring it out of the kitchen. Water was not refilled during our visit. 1st day back in Boston and staying at the Marriot which uses the yard house for breakfast. Obviously the yard house is not familiar with serving breakfast. The receptionist was cold but it's Boston so don't expect friendly. The best aspect of this place was our server Abbey she was apologetic about everything that happened at this place. In ordered the buffet. Food was mediocre at best. Bagels were hard and had to toast twice. Omelette bar was decent. My wife ordered the eggs Benedict and this is where the problems began. 10 minutes goes by and no food and the 15 minutes still no food. We ask for her food and her the typical response the kitchen is slammed. I go talk to manager who was very unresponsive about the issue and wait again. Finally after thirty minutes the food comes out. It looked like some slapped the thing together. Missing fruit and missing avocado and the poached eggs were hard boiled. They did the right thing and didn't charge us. They need to get their shit together. It's breakfast...not that hard. Good luck eating here. read more

First of all the service was fine. They were doing the best they could under the circumstances. We ordered 2 diet cokes and the pretzel as an app. The drinks came out quickly and were dropped off, but something didn't look right. The soda looked too pale and upon tasting had no flavor almost just soda water. When the pretzel was dropped off we asked if they could try a different dispenser which they said they would. Bizarrely when the replacements were brought they had no ice but that didn't really matter as it was the same fizzy but tasteless soda. We requested water instead. My partner ordered a Korean beef and rice dish. The beef was salty, dry and chewy. Whatever cut of beef was chosen to be so thinly sliced and cooked well was a poor choice. It was so lean that it was closer to jerky that the tender bites that were expected with such a dish. I ordered the house cheese steak which was actually a chicken an uninspiring hoagie filled with cooked chicken, I couldn't tell if it was boiled, sautéed, or grilled it was just white meat, with a cheese and bbq sauce drizzle. I ate half out of pure hunger and we paid and left as quickly as we could to eat some leftovers we had from the day before. The place will do if all you want is beer and bar snacks. But if you have a little time but don't want to travel far, pop over the sky bridge on the same level as the restaurant to the attached mall and see if you can eat at Terra above Eataly or in Eataly's little restaurants themselves. 2 stars instead of 1 for the pretzel with beer sauce which was similar to fondue and quite tasty. read more

Shame on this restaurant group for not being prepared for a busy weekend with a concert at Fenway. Running out of liquor was a nice touch. Much better than your normal hotel restaurant experience. Had the boneless wings (whiskey pepper + Asian sauces) and both were good! Garlic noodles were good as well... definitely recommend especially if staying at the hotel and wanting to find a quality spot to watch the games (plenty of TVs!). read more

This is quite possibly the most unprofessional experience I have had with management staff. We recently visited and were seated by the lovely hostess at the bar, after she checked with the bartender. About two minutes after we sat and the bartender greeted us, the manager came up to us interrogating us if we sat ourself because he needed to set up service bar. When I replied that the hostess sat us there and told us to get up and go back to the hostess stand and get re-sat somewhere else. Rather than seating us at one of the MANY empty seats around us. When I stood there astonished in the tone and manner in which he spoke to us, he yelled at me to return to the hostess stand or leave. I worked in the industry for 15 years and have never seen a manager treat guests so poorly and unprofessionally nor would I ever do that to a guest. Ultimately, we ended up leaving and not dining here. Shame on you yard house. Learn how to treat a guest. I will never patronize a Yard House after this mistreatment read more

I been for 8 days staying at the Marriott here, and they are super understaffed at he Yard house. You order food and they forget so you have to ordered about 3 times. If you are at the bar it will take you a lifetime just to get acknowledge. Food comes cold so its kind of not the best. Love Yard House, but this location needs help from corporate. Spinach dip was soo good ! I got the Maui pineapple chicken, it was good and sauce was a nice touch but broccoli had absolutely no seasoning. Chicken sandwich was good and coleslaw was good. Service was nice once you can get ahold of your server. Ambiance is nice even though you are at a mall. Odd If they sit you on the outskirts and you have people standing behind you while you eat. Had dinner at Yard house with my wife. Such a great experience. The host, manager and server were friendly and provider great customer service. Want to give a shout out to Daniel who stopped by and introduced himself. The ambiance was nice as well. The team graciously changed one of the channels on one of the televisions to a game that was near and dear to my heart. Thank you all for such a great experience in Boston. read more
