First time at this Yard House and great experience! This space is huge with really cool decor especially the wall murals all over. Very quirky and artsy! We came here on a Saturday night to watch the FiFA game and have dinner. We had just stopped by Copley Square and taken some cool photos by the official tricolor football there on the green. I got my usual spicy jambalaya and it was great as always - that's the nice thing about chains you know you'll get consistency! The hubs got a salad with salmon and he enjoyed it as well. This Yard House is located in Back Bay inside the Marriott Copley Place on the 2nd floor. There's a parking garage for the hotel where you can park or catch the T and get off the green or orange line. It's like a 5 minute walk. I happened to be staying here during 4th of July weekend, and the hotel gave a $20 daily credit as part of the destination fee. The first time I went was the day I flew in. I tried out their Happy Hour and sat at a large open table near the bar and TVs. The FIFA games weren't on yet. My server was fine. She checked in every once in a while. I had to ask for water with my mocktail - Hibiscus Mule-ish. It had Seedlip spice 94, ginger beer, hibiscus, lime, mint. It was ok. It was a little too sweet. I couldn't really taste the hibiscus flavor. For Happy Hour, I ordered the Brussels sprouts and Classic Sliders since it was 4 mini burgers on toasted brioche buns with cheddar and special sauce and came with house fries. It was A LOT of food for one person. I was hungry but not THAT hungry. It's definitely shareable, but my friend had to get something and didn't accompany me. It's nice to know that the half price appetizers are still the full portion for HH. I had plenty left over but didn't take it since the hotel rooms didn't have a microwave. Classic sliders - The sliders were pretty big in size. It was filling. I didn't like the patty. It tasted bland even with the special sauce. Plus, the pickles were sweet and not sour. The fries were too salty. I ate one slider and tried to eat a second patty just for protein since I hadn't eaten breakfast since I had an early am flight. It might be good on another day, but I didn't care for it. Crispy Brussels sprouts - I really liked this, but I couldn't eat the whole platter. It was spicy and acidic. The gochujang sauce added a nice flavor and kick to it, and the malt vinegar aioli paired nicely with it. The second time I went, my friend joined me. It was nice to sit in after a few hours of walking the Freedom Trail during a heat wave. We dined in the larger area with all the TVs. We watched two FIFA games. It was nice to be around everyone cheering. Some people even stopped to watch outside the restaurant while waiting to be seated where you could see the TVs. We ordered the appetizer Miguel's queso dip which had cheddar, pepper jack, queso blanco, roasted poblano peppers, guajillo chile, chipotle and served with warm flour tortillas & chips. I had my favorite lambic sour beer - Lindeman's framboise. Miguel's queso dip - Large portion. Cheesy. A bit too salty. The tortilla chips were stale. I prefer something crispy to eat with a cheese dip, so I didn't try the flour tortillas with it. I have been to Yard House where I live a few times, and it's an average bar chain. Not a place I frequent. I think it has a great selection of beverages compared to other bars. This location was an interesting experience. The first time, there were gnats everywhere. I kept having to swat them away which got annoying. For an enclosed space in a hotel on the 2nd floor, I'm surprised at how many gnats were inside. They were living their best life for sure. Luckily, there were less in the dining area that was more inner compared to the open area. This location seemed to have interesting conversations as this lady was talking loudly about how her partner was a cheater and that all her friends knew what he was doing. It didn't start off that way, but she must've had a lot to drink cause the conversation changed. You go girl, but also, how embarrassing for the guy she was yelling at in front of everyone to hear. Lol. If you're staying at the hotel, use your credit. If not, it's a great place to socialize and bring groups of friends to catch a game. read more

I stay 4 night 3 rooms in Marriott Copley We had a great stay until Monday night I am from belgium and spend 3 nights in the sport bar "house Yard " I had some great nights there with great food' But on Monday on the " USA/Belgium " game I was supporting "Belgium" I am from Belgium ... I was making nose my team was winning ... tables Arround was paying me drinks . I was paying drinks to them , it was a great athosphere When at the middle of the second half a waiter came to me and told me to not make nose!!!!!?????!!! What is this? This is extremely disappointing and spoiled my night and I decided to leave the bar as I was so disappointed And I never experienced a moment where I was feeling disrespected and my fifa experience was diminished to watch the end of the game in my room. We were staying at the Marriott, and I can guarantee you we will never go back to that restaurant or any other in their chain. Stopped in here for their Happy Hour. The prices looked great on the menu and the selection was also very good. Many items were 50% off. When I got seated by the host, I did not get any server coming for a while. I then noticed the virtual ordering menu Ipad on the table, so I decided to order my Happy Hour item...Chicken Lettuce Wraps. I waited for a bit and still no one ever came to say anything to me. A bit later someone from the kitchen came with my item and placed it on the table. I asked if I could get a glass of water, he said, later....he never came back. I noticed a small Bell icon on the iPad, so I pressed it to get some assistance....that red light flashed for over 10 minutes and no one came to ask if I needed something. I finally flagged someone far away to get me a water..... When it was time to pay, I used the virtual iPad but it did not work, so I approached the bar area and asked if someone could run my card. Servers are accommodating and attentive. There's also a touchpad on the table if you want to put in an order in between the servers' rounds. Food is reasonably good and well-presented. The orange chicken rice bowl was really good, we enjoyed our selection of tacos (Jorean chicken and beer battered fish taco were great, and love that the birria tacos came with a tiny saucepan of jus), and ahi salad was refreshing. For a lower carb option, for the taco mix and match ( Korean chicken and Beer-Battered Fish Tacos), our server was able to sub in roasted veggies instead of rice and beans, and bib lettuce wraps instead of tortilla shells- satisfying without the guilt. read more

Yard House was conveniently located in the Copley Marriott on the 2nd floor. After arriving to Boston late in the evening we got a late night meal. We only had about a 10 minute wait for a table which was great considering the host told us it was a 3 hour wait all day long as this was the end point for the Boston Marathon. It made it really neat to be able to see alot of the runners here at the finish place. My friend & I both ended up ordering the Korean BBQ steak and subbing the fries for mashed potatoes. We started with cheese curds & wings, both were mediocre. Cheese curds were good but were a bit on the soggy side - I am also a bit spoiled as the ones we serve back home are garlic crusted so these lacked in flavor in comparison. We got two types of wings - buffalo & sweet chili. The sweet chili ones were better than the regular buffalo wings, nothing too special about these. The flavor on the steak was delicious and the potatoes were top notch. I highly recommend those mashed potatoes they were the best part of the meal. Yard House is solid! A great option for large groups as their menus caters to everyone including vegans and their expansive drafts and cocktails are enough to keep everyone satisfied. We ordered Buffalo Wings, Guac and Chips, Turkey BLT, and Fish and Chips. The Guac and chips were good as it tasted like Chipotle's Guac. The Turkey BLT probably the best of the bunch. Pile high with Turkey and a good amount of avocado and bacon. Both the wings and the fish and chips were a disappointment. Wings were not crispy at all and could be straight out of a frozen bag of buffalo wings. The fish were too heavily battered and oily. I frequently eat at Yard House before heading over to Back Bay station to catch a train home. I really enjoy the food and they always have pretty good service. Nice selection of beer, appetizers and a good happy hour. Be aware it's a loud sports bar so if you're looking for somewhere quiet don't stop here! We came in for dinner since we were staying at the Marriott. This was before the dinner rush and we got sat down right away. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout dinner. The place was huge with plenty of space, tables, and large televisions. Many people were watching sports. We got the firecracker shrimp; tempura shrimp, sweet soy ginger, red pepper threads, green onions, cilantro, sweet chili siracha on crispy rice cake. OMG- this appetizer alone was five stars for me. Then I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with fries; it has white cheddar, spicy sweet slaw, garlic aioli on toasted brioche bun. The sandwich flavor was on point and perfectly crispy and the fries were crunchy. They got really busy when we're were starting to leave. The check took a while to come after we were done. Had them at a yard house in Orlando a few years ago and have dreamed about them every since :) this location is in the mall and I thought they would validate parking from everything I read- they do not. I got the hot chicken sandwich and it was too hot for me which is crazy because I like hot but maybe it was just not my day. The staff was friendly and patient and remade my sandwich with the hot sauce on the side bc I couldn't handle it which was very nice. The place is huge so any size group you have- they will fit lol. I will just let you know I was there on a Friday night for a late beverage, Saturday for lunch, Saturday for a late beverage, Sunday for breakfast. The service was AWFUL each visit. They were understaffed but the staff they had was rude, inattentive, borderline rude and extremely disinterested. Since this crap service was consistent clearly it is how they were trained. Lisa Ann, a server and Marco a bartender were the only 2 that were pleasant. They were juat overworked. The food was close to terrible. Dinner was terrible. The soup served ice cold (tried to send it back, the server wanted nothing to do with that). Anyway, this place cant staff properly. They dont train. The food is garbage. No one cares. That's my second time here and let me tell you brussel sprouts are still the best thing they have on this menu. This time I also had some cheese curds OMG they are so good. Taylor was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She did not miss a Beat though there wasn't many of us there she did everything on time and had our orders put in right. I had just had some dental work done and she was so kind about trying to help me find something to eat. It's in the coffee mall so it does have this nice little vibe to it. It's a middling experience. The kitchen is glacial. We are talking a30-45 minute wait for spinach dip on one night and for a side of French fries on another evening. The quality is average, it's all premade, be it frozen or from a bag. I wasn't expecting much and didn't receive it, it what to expect of a YH. The service again is hit or miss, some servers are attentive and intuitive others or are like management should be happy I showed up. Same with the bar staff, huge inconsistency here. Each drink is drastically different depending on who is making it. Overall the place is clean, it's expansive and not too loud, so a conversation can be had without leaning into someone's ear. The beers remain the same excellent quality and there is always a wide array of choices. The bartenders are experts and can provide great suggestions. This Yard House is inside a mall, open to the surroundings so it's VERY LOUD. We were seated pretty quickly into a booth near the entrance to the restaurant. Our server was fine albeit a little stony. He kept forgetting to bring us things we had asked for like silverware or sauces for our fries. I ordered the korean bbq sub which was pretty tasty. There was a decent amount of meat in the sub. I can't remember what else we ordered but it wasn't good or very filling. I'm sure this is a great place to watch a game or other sporting event. Not only did I get a house salad with no dressing, the guacamole and sour cream that was supposed to come with my tacos wasn't on the HOT plate they handed me. I asked for the guac and sour cream and received it from our waitress, but did not receive my dressing until I asked for a second time. Another great stop at a Yard House location. Food choices are always good here and ambiance is great for gathering and hanging out. This time I picked the turkey club. Was a solid choice, but taking off the bacon trying to eat healthy took a lot of flavor off the palette. Next time will try something else, as the burger I had in Hawaii was delicious. My friend went with a chicken dish and they liked it. Could've cooked it a little less so it wouldn't have been so dry. Location is perfect and the setting was really Cool. Stopped in yesterday afternoon and sat at the bar--it wasn't busy at all. We were told the tap system was down, so only canned drinks and cocktails were available, which was totally fine. But the bartenders seemed stressed and totally uninterested in engaging. We tried to make casual conversation to lighten the mood, but they weren't having it. We asked what we believe was the bar manager about how the outage was affecting business, and she outright ignored us. Service was so slow we decided not to bother ordering food. To top it off, we overheard the bar manager telling another bartender they were intentionally giving poor service to an older regular because she doesn't tip well. The Marriott Copley Place uses the Yard House for their room service orders, as they operate a restaurant on the second floor of their hotel. That's not a bad idea, and when we ordered, the food arrived quickly, within twenty minutes. We selected: * Cobb Salad (add Ahi Tuna): 16.99 * Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza (hold the pepperoni): 16:49 Just in case that pizza order sounds odd to you, let me explain. They don't offer custom pizza orders, so I couldn't order a cheese pizza and add mushrooms. Perhaps they took a prepackaged Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza and took off the pepperoni? Your guess is as good as mine. And the Cobb Salad was mistakenly delivered as a Crunchy Ahi Tuna Salad. The person who took our order over the phone was very nice, but did say she was new and asked for patience while entering the order. We thought the pizza was mediocre, thin crust, possibly prepackaged and tossed in an oven. It was better than a store bought pizza, but that's certainly a low bar. The salad was pretty good, but it was the wrong one, and my co-diner did not like it. So overall, this was not a good dining experience, and one which was accompanied by a $7.00 room service delivery charge (and I provided a cash tip). This dining interlude was the only disappointment during our stay at the Marriott Copley Place, which we greatly enjoyed and thought otherwise warranted a five star rating. We could have ordered from one of the many restaurants in the area, or taken a quick walk to the Prudential Center Mall for dinner. Next time we definitely will! read more
