The first time I came I had a wonderful experience with Lucy, ASK FOR LUCY when getting acrylics done. Writing this review because of my last visit. I asked for coffin shaped nails and when the nail technician began to shape them I noticed that my right ring finger nail was shorter than the rest so when I told her she decided to shorten my left ring finger. Common sense would tell you to add length If it's short. When she finished I saw that some nails looked like different shapes. I asked them to fix my nails and the lady that fixed them was nice, when she was fixing them she completely re-did my ring fingers but they came out even shorter than before. Moon did an excellent job on my halloween coffin ombré nails and advised me well on the shape so that the ombré would really stand out with the two colors. Additionally, Elaine did a lovely job on my pedicure and her massage was one of the best I've ever received. This place was already poppin' early on a Friday, so you know it's a legit nail salon. Since this salon is so close I am a regular there. When it first started the place was great, all the staff is nice and for the most part did an ok job constantly. Problems 1. Now since I an a unique person I like designs and colors which if that's what u like dont come here. 2. The management especially the female is very rude and pushy. For example my daughter (whom I haven't seen in 3mos) her bestfriend and I went 4 /20 Saturday before Easter. Knowing it was going to be busy we were all ready to sit and wait. So we wanted shellac so they handed us the basket of colors but as we were looking the lady kept rushing us making us feel really uncomfortable constantly interrupting us asking us have we picked a color yet. And saying ur water is ready 4 the pedicures. So I went to put my feet in and showed her a picture of a design I wanted and she immediately said they couldn't do it. So as I look for something else not 2 minutes later she came back and asked do I know what color I want. Not only did she rush me but she rushed my daughter to the point I could see the stress in my 15 yrs old face. I was so stressed took my feet out of the water and sat in the lobby. 3. Problem no concern for the clients. After I got up the mail manager asked what happened I explained very politely and the only thing he said was well if u changed ur mind let me know. He never apologized or corrected the situation or offered up any kind of incentive to help ease the situation. I'm now crying and upset in the lobby waiting on my daughter and friend to finish still no concern for the situation just let me know if u change ur mind. NEVER again will I go there. read more

Just went in today ( Friday, Sept. 7 ) for a full set and pedicure. Even though it was super busy, my mom and I were seated immediately and taken care of the same minute we walked in. My nail technician, Moon, did a great job. Love the way my nails turned out. This is my third visit to wow8, and all three visits have turned out great !! Will continue to go back. I have come here several times to get my eyebrows waxed. I usually walk-in and go with whoever is available. Never had a problem and they all have done a good job. Very disappointed this last time I went. The technician was really nice and personable but she completely messed up my eyebrows. They are uneven. One was too thin and left a gap or dip on it. How did she not notice this before giving me the mirror. She was surprised that they were uneven. Really apologetic but her excuse was "oh I guess the wax must've dipped lower on one side". The BEST pedicure in the world! The place is super clean and relaxing! No TVs blaring or strange music. The employees are so nice and they aren't constantly having their own private conversations. Everything is clearly sterilized and immaculate! I opted for the 37 dollar pedi and it was worth every cent! The pedicure comes with a neck warmer, wine, a ten minute foot massage, neck massage, parafin wax, foot masque, and you get to pick the scent they use. Absolutely amazing! I've been coming to this nail salon for 2+ years. Never have I experienced bad customer service until today. I usually get my pedicure with Lan and and dip or shellac with Amber. Amber was out today and typically when this has happened I am ok with anyone else doing my nails. Well...today Tina was the one that had me experience my worst visit here today from the beginning!! I think she got upset because I was watching Netflix on my phone????? I thought I could relax and just enjoy like I usually do, ohh! And because I didn't want to cut my nails shorter and she thought I should. The way she was handling and doing the job was just very uncomfortable I had to stop and tell I did not want her to continue. To make matters worse the owners husband took part in it as well by telling me I had to wait until somebody else was available and when I asked how long without any concern or care that I was upset he answered, about 1/2 hour or you could just wait for Amber!!!??? I use to refer EVERYONE to this nail salon, not anymore. They don't appreciate their customers at all. With the ton of nail salons opening around the Katy area I am sure I'll find one that will. read more

Since the storm put my old nail salon is out for the moment Due to water damage . I went in search for a new place and found WOW8 .I showed up at 6pm and was seated fairly fast . I needed a pedicure and "Mary" was selected to do them . The place was clean and they used the sanitation plastic over the foot tub which is a huge thing for me . The massage chair was awesome and went deep! It was the best I've had in a while .... Mary helped my toes get back to normal after working many hours lately at work. I paid $35 for a deluxe type pedicure which was decent . Only thing I could have wanted was a longer massage but other then that I was happy . I will try this place again soon. read more

The owner or manager in charge was extremely Rude and had an attitude with me because I didn't know what color I wanted, mind you I was only in this nail salon for 2 minutes. She then makes it worse on herself by trying to insult me in Vietnamese to her employees. I then corrected her as I spoke back to her in Vietnamese telling her I understood Vietnamese too and she didn't have to speak about me like that, and that calling me a difficult little cunt because I didn't know which nail color to get was uncalled for. She was speechless after that, as she should be. She had no remorse and continued to give me attitude while she buffed my nails with the machine. love this place! Its been my go to salon for years now and since im new to yelp, decided to give em the 5 stars they've always deserved! Vee is incredible for pedicures and shellac manicures, always takes amazing care of me! Big color selection for gel and dip powder, and wait time usually isn't too bad. Comfy pedicure chairs, social distancing and covid precautions are being taken appropriately and the salon is beautifully decorated. You really cant go wrong coming here, my only suggestion is that they change the channels on there tv to something other than the news, or sports. Nails service was okay.. the reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because they overcharged me!! When I got there I asked the guy how much a refill and regular pedicure was. He said 35 for refill and 23 for pedicure. He charged me $61 when I left which was $38 for my refill. It wasn't that great to be honest.. and i was overcharged. I don't care if it's only $3 this place is already expensive for not such a good service. I rather go to my regulars in Houston. I won't be coming back. read more

Very good experience here went in for a pedicure .They were very nice and ready to get me my every need right away, was seated as soon as I walked in I had a design in mind already so I showed them right away it was $6 extra , complimentary wine, champagne or for me being pregnant water or soda. Clean and spacious nail salon. I have been to others and drove out of my way to come here. I tried the dip nails the process is long, so don't think you can drop in and dip out in a hurry. The ambiance is soothing and the workers are nice. I didn't have a connection with the person doing my nails, but I wish I did. Conversations make the time pass faster. I said okay I'll trust you. Then she immediately changed her mood when she was filing down my nails. Then got up and said someone else would do this for you. Wait for the lady behind me. I waited.
