I needed a new nail tech so I came to by bf YELP to help me find one. Two other nail salons were short staffed so they were unable to take me. I was almost ready to quit when I found this gem. (I prefer supporting smaller, family owned salons.) I called and the owner invited me to come by. When I arrived, I was immediately seated. His wife Tina did my nails. She was nice, attentive, she asked what I wanted and went to work. I was very pleased with her attention to details such as removing dead skin and perfecting the shape. And this ombré honey... I love it! Hubby took care of my feet and was equally attentive. He offered a drink towards the end of the service but that's because he was busy when I entered. I've lived right down the street from this nail salon for ages and have never been... my feet were trashed from the night before because of the heels I wore in my friends wedding I stood in. I hate going when its crowded to the salon so I chose to go at a very off time when I knew it would be quiet. Have to start out by saying the woman (forgot her name.. I'm horrible I know) who was given the terrible task of working on my feet was one of the best I've had. I usually hate going because I'm so sensitive.. meaning any kind of massaging usually irritates and hurts- even when I've told someone in the past, they insisted on continuously giving me a hard massage on my legs and feet. I came here for a regular pedicure before and tried the orange pedicure this time. The regular pedicure is $20 and orange is $28. Man, was it worth it! Probably took about an hour or more and was very relaxing and my toes look great. There is an older lady here with short hair that I really like for my pedicures. She is very detailed and gives a firm leg massage. I don't know her name yet, but I'm going to figure it out asap! I've had a shellac mani here before and it was great. It was my first time here. Got a pedicure with Lynn. It looks great. She was very patient while I chose my color, I'm very picky. Lynn really paid attention to detail. She made sure I liked the shape. They even let me choose what to watch on Netflix, lol. She had to take off the shellac I had on previously, in the end I was charged $40. read more

The prices are cheap and when I come, I always get a pedicure and occasionally a full set/refill. For the price, this place is great. For the past year I've tried multiple locations to get my nails done. I never really found a place that I absolutely loved and paying a higher price didn't always necessarily meant I got better service. That being said, before this appointment the last time I went to this location was about a year ago. However, when I walked in the two ladies working recognized me and asked how have I been! The only reason this doesn't get the full five star rating is because my nails haven't always been consistent. There have been times when the powder on my nails were set too thick and I only noticed after leaving the location. Then other times, they come out looking great. I have been trying to find a place in the Katy area or nearby and after reading the reviews I was happy to try them. I arrived and Lynn immediately greeted me!!! The customer service provided was very nice. The polishes look old. My pedicure was fine, nothing to brag about. My manicure was not great (see my picture). I feel if you are getting false nails, you will probably have a better outcome. I should have known that she (I forgot to get her name) wasn't going to do well when she asked if I wanted to get nails instead of just doing my natural nails. Very disappointed. Asked for sns nails (dip) & the guy did his own thing giving me acrylic. Which was fine until the shape was completely off. I asked for square and he made them so pointy on the edges that they were basically inverted. I asked him to fix the shape and even gave him an example and he only fixed one nail. He acted very frustrated and did not let me explain at all and just left it as if he was confused and did not want to do what I asked. The nails were very thick! One of the worst experiences in years. I specifically requested a person who could speak English so that I could discuss what I wanted. I was assured that they had someone that could speak English. The person who did my pedicure spoke NO English. The person who did my manicure sniffed and sneezed throughout the entire procedure. I suspect he spoke some English because, with some effort, I was able to make myself understood - although he never spoke to me - not even an introduction. The blower had almost no flow and was useless. There was no UV light - at least none that was set up. Absolutely no personality to this visit which is surprising because I told them that this was my first visit. Yep! its a win. $26 for a mani/pedi on Monday - Wednesday. They have CND, OPI, Essie, and other nail brands available. It is a small, clean shop so don't expect super luxurious amenities. My nail tech, Helen, was thorough and meticulous! Great color application (it still amazes me how some folks cant get this right!), full arm massage during manicure, and they offer OPI exfoliate scrubs for an upcharge. Not necessarily the BEST pedicure for getting rid of dry skin on your heels but...... did you see me write $26 for both? For that, I'll give my heels a bit more TLC at home. I waited for an hour to finally receive my mani and pedi but I still give them a 5 stars because the services was damn good and the ladies were very very sweet... The services are amazing and the price were reasonable. I love that they do actually do their message not just like a 30 sec thing. I am really impress with the effort that they focus on each client. Visited here several weeks ago & had a fabulous pedicure. They took they're time. Very gentle. Great massage so naturally I return. Today I did shellac French manicure. Horrible. The white part is crooked & uneven & lumpy. Why why why is it impossible to find a place that does both great manicures AND pedicures??? I would also like to mention that when I walked in NO ONE acknowledged me. Not one single hello or hi. I sat down & was patient. Horrible experience. Don't let the guy do your nails. I asked for oval/round... he started making my nails very pointy. I asked for no point and ended up with an uneven, inconsistent shaped mess. There is a huge gap between the polish and my skin, it's rigged and not even and you can clearly see where the 2nd coat was not painted up to where the first coat is. He blamed the rippling on the matte color I chose and cut my fingers 3 times. Don't go here. And if you do, don't let him do your nails. read more

This place is a hidden gem. They almost always are offering a $25 dollar mani-pedi special. I walked in and only waited about 5 minutes. Got to pick my color and head over to one of the awesome Pedicure chairs. I received a mani-pedi a few weeks prior somewhere else, and paid almost $40 bucks. This mani-pedi was so much better and I saved $15 bucks. These ladies know what they are doing and they don't try to sell you crap you don't need! Excellent Service! Great results! read more

Tried this little gem for the first time and couldn't be happier! The time, care, and quality are unparalleled. I've spent MUCH more $$ on nearby salons that clearly pay much more attention to faux "spa" decor than they do on their actual CRAFT. They each do such a good job, and I really enjoy it, however I feel the need to warn about the letting the cute little receptionist do you nails. DON'T let the receptionist lady do your pedicure!
