I recently started going to this salon and I cannot recommend it enough, all of the ladies who work here are so friendly. They are quick, detailed and professional. They have their licenses posted on the wall and lots of colors and options to choose from. This salon is one of the cleanest salons i've been to in a very long time, I have only been there twice and they knew my name right when I walked in. I love how they constantly ask you questions to make sure you are enjoying the way your service is turning out. I was considering switching to this place as I had visited here before when they first opened. It is close to home and would have been quite convenient. I walked in; there was a gentleman doing someone's nails and someone was getting a pedicure. The gentleman asked what I needed. I told him. He asked if I had an appointment. I said no, do I need one? Jayla and her husband did my mani and pedi. I had dip powder and a regular pedi. I rarely ever get acrlyic usually ust shellac but I wanted to do something different. I told jayla exactly how I wanted my coffin shape nails. I like them not too long and not bulky. She definitely delivered and always said if theres anything wrong or if you dont like something please let me know. Her husband and her took care of me and I also got to use their 20% special. I use to always come to bright nails, but this time I came to get a pedicure and the lady literally ripped my skin off with the scrub thing and did not even bother Inform me I was bleeding.. didn't offer a band aid or anything. Until I got home and realized I had blood on my heel. I called them the next day and informed them and all they said was oh sorry. I am more upset I tipped them and they didn't even bother telling me she had made a deep cut on my heel. Was looking for a nail salon in my neighborhood, as I was searching on Yelp I seen the reviews for Bright nails. I am very particular and struggled with coming but I took the chance and came. When I say as soon as you walk in, it's not overwhelmingly big, not small but open and bright! Very clean which is what I look for. So many color polishes to choose from. I have been on the search for a nail shop that I make my permanent shop for my pedicures. I did a Yelp search and Bright Nails came up. The reviews were very positive so I decided to give it a try. I arrived and opened the door. I was immediately greeted which I loved!!! Customer service is very important to me. A gentleman was working on a young lady. The woman that greeted me asked what I needed and I told her a pedicure. She told me to pick my color and she walked over to get things ready. I needed to use the bathroom so she told me where it was. The bathroom was clean and that is a big plus!! So I come out, she shows me where to sit, I roll up my pants. I stick my foot in the water and that water was very hot. I asked her to add cold water and she did. I chose the regular pedicure, which is $22. I asked her name because she wasn't as friendly as the reviews. Come to find out this lady us Vicki, not Jala. I was disappointed because I wanted to experience Jala. That's when I saw another lady come from another room and I knew she had to be Jala. She asked if I wanted a drink and I chose Sprite. Vicki did fine with my pedicure. If you are looking for someone to engage you in conversation, Vicki is not for you. She did her job and that was it. When she finished, she just got up and went to the next customer. She didn't direct me further. So I looked around but I didn't see a designated area to sit to dry and Vicki didn't tell me anything, so I just sat there. I felt like my toes were dry so I proceeded to the front to check out. Jala checked me out and I let her know that initially I thought Vicki was her. I told her that I wanted to experience her and asked if I should make an appointment with her. She said that would be best and I believe her because her phone was ringing non-stop!!! Jayla is the best! She's done my lashes for over a year and a half and I wouldn't go to anyone else! These babies stay on! Not only is she a meticulous lash artist but she's very friendly and accommodating! Where other techs may have been annoyed by the presence of an adorable yet active 4 year old during a session ( ok most sessions ) she always makes us feel comfortable and relaxed even (the only time I get to relax lol). So I went in for a manicure and pedicure one day like 2 weeks ago. It all felt so rushed, mind you this is my second time coming here because I like to give businesses second chances. So in all sincerity the pedicures were ok the first time was way better, second time was super rushed. When it was time for me to get my manicure they needed to remove the shellac first. First of all they did not do it correctly they used a machine to take the paint off. Regularly you use acetone and aluminum foil. So I let them know that it was hurting, but they did not stop. At one point they were doing my ring finger on my left hand and it ripped a chunk off my real nail off. IT HURT SO BAD I WANTED TO CRY. I TOLD THEM I DID NOT WANT MY NAILS DONE ANYMORE. THEY THEN GOT THE ACETONE AND ALUMINUM FOIL TO REMOVE WHAT WAS LEFT. Then they just left me waiting there for a long time while they took care of other people. Meanwhile I have my finger bleeding with this aluminum foil in it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THE FIRST TIME I WENT THEY REMOVED MY FAKE NAILS SO HARSHLY MY REAL NAILS HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE THEN!!! I AM STILL SUPER FRUSTRATED AND SAD BECAUSE MY REAL NAILS STILL LOOK HORRIBLE!!! read more
