I really think they were one of the first few in Katy area that had luxury looking interior decor and the price is always very fair. Before I found them, I never trusted men doing my nails but Kevin here proved me wrong! They never pressure you into any additional service and everyone has always been very polite! I don't mind any one of them doing my nails but I especially like Tam because of how detail oriented she is. I'm usually pretty plan Jane but once in a while I'd want to try different designs and she would always entertain the idea. Don't waste Your time. The women who offer service were extremely disrespectful to me. I was there for a nail removal appointment and had to wait for almost 3 hours, but no one came to remove my nails for me. The first set I got here was very terrible and not what I had anticipated at all. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Extremely disrespectful to the other customers as well. Greeted prompty by friendly staff. I asked pricing prior to service to ensure no surprises. Nail girlies, you get it! I got the classic pedi and a fill. Both technicians were nice and handled my nails with care . They did forget my drink, but once I asked, they promptly brought it over. At checkout, they did add on for length, which is not on the price list, and i have naturally long nails. It shouldn't be a charge. Once I talked with the manager, they took it off for me. Let's just say it wasn't an upscale experience. It's esthetic to the eye when u walk in but after that the service is down hill from there. I had a male attendant and he was rough on my nails. He drilled my nail until it burned. I declined further drilling and I also declined the cuticle trim because what!!!! I'll just stick to my usual spot and will post about them at a later date. The lady at the front desk does not know how to do her job. She will quote you 15 minute wait when In reality it'll be a 35 minute wait. I came in for a pedicure and acrylic full set, thinking I was saving time getting them done at the same time. Unfortunately my pedicure was almost over and I STILL was waiting for my nails to be serviced. I had to ask TWICE for how long it was going to take. I ended up leaving unsatisfied, and all the staff knew. The front desk lady didn't offer any type of apology, she just didn't care. due to the recent weather, my nail shop was closed they had no power. I live in katy, and I looked at the reviews and thought this might be a spot that I can frequent. Upon entering, the shop its very nice clean. I filled out the form to get a fill, I have Acrylic overlay on top of my natural nails, and I needed a pedicure. I also checked that I needed my cuticles done. And I wanted a French tip. I paid a total of $125 for the worst French tip I've ever received and the pedicure was mediocre at Best. I am attaching pictures that were taken immediately after I left the shop in my car. The French tip was sloppy. I showed the Young lady at the front desk my nails When I went to pay. And she apologized and stated they have a seven day guarantee so if I wanted to come back to get my nails Repainted I could. I told her why would I come back when it should've been done right The first time. I was charged $30 alone for the deep french. The total on the form that she showed me was $95. When she rung me up, it came up to $135.. This shop is extremely overpriced. The customer service was horrible with the staff. There was no one waiting when I entered, so she sat me down and stated that my pedicure would be done at the same time as my nails, but No one came to do my nails although I kept asking, they just kept saying to wait Coming. then A lady came she started to soak my nails but she left me soaking for 40 minutes because she stated that I needed To remove the old Acrylic and I was ok with that. She said the charge was $10 for removal so I'm thinking ok now my total is going to be $110 no problem. Then The same lady who was supposed to be doing my nails went to someone elses full set. I said excuse me when are you going to do My nails she said please let them keep soaking. I said I can't leave my Nails in acetone It's been a long time, I kept taking my nails Out and scraping the acrylic off myself. You will Even see after washing my hands with the brush thoroughly, They are peeling. I was there over three hours for a basic fill and a pedicure worst service ever I will not be back. definitely wasn't worth the $125 I spent. and by the way, they didn't do the cuticles like I asked for, or the nail cut down and how do you give a pedicure Without adding the paraffin wax. They were extremely busy and honestly, I don't know why maybe because it looks nice but quality is definitely horrible. I forgot to mention that I even had to ask the young lady to do the bottom of my foot. She completely just didn't do it at all really all she did was paint my toes white. Updated: I hate to have to give a bad review, but even though customer service is great, and I've been a long standing customer... I do not recommend this place. I tried to oversee flaws but every time I've gotten serviced by a certain nail tech (I don't want to say any names) I have gotten an infection. I wasn't aware that it was an infection until I went to the doctor. She nicked me and I bled almost every time but I didn't realize the pain I was in was an actual infection. I was getting acrylic with gel polish and it was always inconsistent, no matter how much I try to coach through the process. I have gotten pedicures here as well and I wasn't satisfied with the amount of dead skin that was still left over and I had to finish it off myself when I got home. Not to mention recently I heard one of the people that works there coming through the back door as I was getting a pedicure, saying, "My N***a!" And he was not black!. I have came here about a good 3-4 times all together. It will be my last time, this time around. Lady in there named Tran, she nearly tries to get blood out of your toes. Digs too far deep and it ends up hurting a lot. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing and it is defiantly not supposed to hurt. Went for an acrylic nail takeoff which they upped the price and the lady tried to take my nails off by digging under with another acrylic nail until i told her to soak them off. Then for my toes it was an old guy who was half a$$ doing the pedicure, nails were short and crooked. when he finally went to polish them he made it so thick and ugly. i made them remove it because i was so fed up with the service. honestly the whole experience from the moment i walked in was terrible. walked out crying and $50 broker. Highly recommend. Came here a few weeks ago on a whim looking for a new nail salon and I definitely found it. Walked in and was greeted by the friendly staff and asked if they had time to squeeze me in. I was tended to immediately buy a technician named Amy. Now let me tell you about Amy! She was so nice, really listened to what I was saying and the results of her doing my nails were amazing. I've been told by multiple other nail salons that I could not do the coffin shape and keep my nails short. So I told Amy, and she said "yes we can!" And she did and I LOVE my nails. I have not been this happy with a set of nails in years. As I write this I sit her for my second appointment with Amy, and am getting a pedicure as well! So far so good, the technician doing my pedicure is Joanne. She is taking her time and really giving me her full attention. I don't get pedicure often so when I do it is nice to have someone who actually takes their time and doesn't rush through. . Other stuff to note about Beauty Nail Bar: -YES they serve mixed drinks! I'm not a big drinker but I think it's awesome they have a margarita machine!!! -Facility is very clean, I'm a hairdresser and pride myself on keeping my salon clean and sanitary, so of corse I look for that in a nail salon as well -they space out all of the clients so that social distancing is followed, everyone has their masks on, and they have hand sanitizer to offer you. -the salon itself is beautiful and very well put together. On the other foot she was clipping the dead skin, once again way too far and clipped off too much; Hurt like hell. Coming back here after a while has definitely given me a different view of this place. First of all, my pedicure tech never covered her nose with her mask. Only her mouth. In addition, the manager on duty took his mask off at the front counter. Also, the pedicure station needs to have foam blocks to put your feet on because the lady insisted that I hold my own leg up while she put products on my feet. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing and that is NOT relaxing. While a deluxe pedicure does have multiple steps, it's not worth $64. read more

DO NOT WAX HERE. It was my first time coming in for an underarm wax.. I saw the pricing, and thought it was a bit overpriced ($21) but the spa looked very nice so I decided to go for it. (This might be tmi.. But for reference, I do not have much hair in my underarms since I got them lasered off about 5 years ago. They grow very sporadically and not all that thick.) 1st underarm: She applied very hot wax to my underarm going one way, and then reapplied it again going the same way because some hairs were left behind. 2nd underarm: she reapplied the hot wax 3 TIMES! So much, that my armpits BLED. It was my first time to I didn't think much of it.. And I didn't think to take before/after pictures. But after speaking to some girlfriends, they said it was definitely not normal. These are the pictures of what they look like about 5 days later.... the 1st one is only burned half way, the 2nd one is COMPLETELY burned. I went in thinking I was going to come out and be able to wear my sleeveless tops for 2 weeks without worry... This was my first time here. I love that when you come in it's so pretty and clean and inviting. There is a check in area where you fill out what services you are there for. The lady at the counter was so polite. There's a whole wall of colors to choose from. It was so organized and you don't feel rushed or anything. You get two complimentary drinks which is awesome!! This is only a good place if your not picky about your pedicures and enjoy being disrespected. I am so incredibly disappointed in the quality and personality's here. I went to go get a French gel pedicure and it came out pretty bad.. my nails were cut slanted, many of the corners of my nails were cut diagonally with a cuticle cutter, and the French tip was not even. There's was even paint left on the skin around my toes... when I called and told them that I didn't like my pedicure, they told me they would fix it. As I showed up, they got the same lady who messed up my toes to try to "fix" them. She was clearly irritable, so I'm not quite sure why they had her fix my toes specially, since she was the one that messed him up in the first place. To put a cherry on top, as she's trying to "fix" my toes, I had some guy who works there asked me where I got my manicures from and asked to see my nails. He then replied with "well there ugly", "you should come here" and proceeded to continuously tell me that my hands were ugly, which is absolutely beyond me considering they couldn't give me the proper pedicure. I came for a refill and this is how they left my nails. Three coats of shellac and they still look this bad! Apart from the horrible job on the color, several of my nails are lifting and cracking and it hasn't even been a week since I got them done.
