This was my first time visiting Ms. Tamika and I enjoyed my experience! I used to get my eyebrows done at a salon near my home but after a few botched waxings, I knew it was time to find a new place. I saw BellaMe Wax & Lash on Yelp and wanted to give Ms. Tamika a try. I messaged through the yelp app and was able to get a same day appointment. Although I knew where the address was, I still got lost. I didn't realize that BellaMe was in a salon complex! It's next to Moneky Joes and the facility holds several independent beauty artists. Anyway, I found Ms. Tamika and she got to work on my eyebrows! I have super thick eyebrows that left unchecked, become furry caterpillars. But once done, they make my face! Ms. Tamika made my eyebrows look amazing!! I couldn't stop smiling at how good they looked! She took her time with angling, waxing, and trimming my eyebrows. this was my first time waxing and oh my.. Tamika is so funny. Throughout my session I kept laughing and laughing which helped with distracting me on the pain. these things don't feel the best but naturally for the first time it doesn't. the process was very quick and easy and I already scheduled my next appointment! Tamika was very sweet and we chatted thru ought the whole process. She was very understanding of my nervousness and made me feel very comfortable. I am not going to lie and say that it was totally painless, but there is no pain and minimal redness afterwards. Compared to experiences that my friends have had, I'm very happ with the results. I love Tamika at Bella Me Wax and Lash Studio! She is incredibly good at her job, she has a gentle touch. Yes getting waxed hurts but she makes it nearly painless, her years of experience really show. All her products are completely biodegradable and earth friendly which is a big plus for me:) I was getting waxed religiously every two weeks and when I told Tamika I wanted to keep that schedule she honestly told me I wasn't benefitting from that and only needed to come in once every 4-5 weeks to get best results. She was more than accommodating after there was a scheduling glitch either technical or user error but my appointment never got booked on the scheduling website and she was able to work me into her crazy booked schedule! I was very concerned about this place not having any reviews since I live on yelp! I called Ms. Tamika and was honest with her. She was very nice to me and reassured me that the shop was new but she had years of experience. I had two very tramatic brazilian waxing experiences, but this one was pain free and done in under 10 minutes. I didn't take any medicine be going. She was very clean, professional, and comforting. The job she did was also the best I've ever had, no pain afterwards and no wax left for me to pick off in the shower. I can't praise this lady enough and I only saw her for 15 mins total. I will be referring her to all my friends. She has same prices as European Wax but will honor first time customers and the Groupon special. Call b4 you buy. I've been to many salons that made me feel uncomfortable - from questionable sanitation to gossipy employees who criticized my flaws. With that being said, I've grown extremely hesitant to set foot into just ~any~ salon. After seeing that Tamika got nothing but positive feedback from multiple sources (Yelp, Facebook, Google, etc.), I booked my appointment without a second thought. Upon entering, I was so happy to see that she works in a private room within the salon park building. Talk about heaven for introverts like me! I also immediately noticed how clean and welcoming her room is. My impression of Tamika: friendly, funny and the conversation with her wasn't awkward or forced. She is very meticulous and detail oriented. She not only cleaned up my train wrecked brows (I went a little too crazy with the tweezers.
