When you first arrive they do a scalp assessment where they take a camera, and you can see in live time what your scalp looks like. They'll tell you any issues they see, and they also tell you your scalp type and what it needs most. They take you back in a room where you lay down and give you scalp and head massages, use variety of products, and really take the time to give you great service (hair extensions are more). When you're done, they take you to the dryer room and you get tea and cookies. Such a nice way to end the experience. The drying room has really great, high level accessories (Dyson) and my blow out looked wonderful. I don't live here but I'd highly recommend checking it out!

No other salon like this in all of Houston! I lived in Katy…read morefor years and this was my place every week. I originally visited because of their sanitary practices and standards which are that of a dentist office, superbly clean. What an experienced!! It was the most relaxing environment and kind technicians I've ever experienced. They are meticulous. Going slow to be mindful of your cuticles, scrubbing with a brand new foot pumice, using new files and buffer. They take their time when massaging. This is a spa experience, not a cattle call. When we moved in 2024 I continued to make the drive from Houston. This is my place! If you care about your nail health and getting the best service, look no further. Also, the salon is very clean and cute. They do not use pedicure spa chairs (which was part of a class action lawsuit) nor nasty plastic bags inside bowls. Instead everything is cleaned with hospital grade products. I would also like to point out that the person who posted all those pics of her nails and gave them zero stars, has nail damage NOT due to a manicure. That is an unhealthy nail and a manure cannot fix that. This is a salon that cares about your experience as much as your nails. I absolutely love their polish options (again they use only the best and nothing old and junky). This is not an inexpensive investment, but it's worth the extra for my peace of mind.

I've been going ever since and I absolutely love it! It's quick and painless. Fast forward to after the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down, Serene has taken many measures like requiring face masks, checking temperatures, and even having us wait in our cars, so that we are in contact with as little people as possible. I am so happy with my results and I will continue going to Serene for life. P.S. Check out their waxing packages, I recommend them because it'll save you money in the long run!

After more than a month of trying to repair my skin following a facial from this place, I decided I…read moreshould warn others about my experience. I received a facial from Olivia on October 2nd, and shortly afterward, I started to break out very badly. I have never had issues with breakouts before, but my forehead and the right side of my face were significantly affected. I believe I was recommended the wrong type of facial. I booked a Signature Hydra Facial but expressed my concerns to Olivia, stating that I wasn't sure I needed it since my skin wasn't in bad condition. She insisted that I go ahead with it. I typically opt for a custom facial without any issues. Since the facial, I've had to spend money on a dermatologist to help restore my skin to normal. I also tried the exfoliator she recommended, but I discontinued its use because I feel it made my skin worse. When I mentioned the exfoliator to others, they advised against using that type of product on our skin. I suspect Olivia recommended a more expensive facial and a $30 exfoliator simply to earn more money; I can't think of any other reason for her recommendation. In total, I spent about $270 here, and now I'm spending even more at the dermatologist for their inadequate treatment. I have decided that I will not return to this establishment and would recommend that others exercise caution when considering a visit.

I saw BellaMe Wax & Lash on Yelp and wanted to give Ms. Tamika a try. I messaged through the yelp app and was able to get a same day appointment. Although I knew where the address was, I still got lost. I didn't realize that BellaMe was in a salon complex! It's next to Moneky Joes and the facility holds several independent beauty artists. Anyway, I found Ms. Tamika and she got to work on my eyebrows! I have super thick eyebrows that left unchecked, become furry caterpillars. But once done, they make my face! Ms. Tamika made my eyebrows look amazing!! I couldn't stop smiling at how good they looked! She took her time with angling, waxing, and trimming my eyebrows. Plus we talked the entire appointment and it wasn't awkward at all! Clearly y'all, she won me over! I can't wait to go back to get these eyebrows tamed again and possibly get other services done as well. Thank you Ms. Tamika!!
