They always tell you what they are doing and why and give you lots of good information on how to take care of your skin and nails. They are super friendly and always remember who you are. I chose the #2 pedi and the wax treatment left my feet super conditioned. My mani is the dipping powder and I chose a sparkly mint. I was done in less than an hour and they noticed I was new and gave me 10% off for mentioning that I found them on Facebook. My mom brought me here the other day because she is literally addicted to this nail salon LOL!! It's so cool that they have a bar and the drinks are FREE. Not even joking. Getting your nails done goes by so much quicker when you're sipping on a drink! The drinks are strong too! Long Island and Adios are even on the menu!! He also makes virgin drinks for non-alcohol friends. I love my nails and I left my first set of French tips on for about three weeks before I went in for refills so they lasted well. I decided to start doing my nails again and Orchid Nails and Facial is adjacent to my neighborhood. I'm so glad because I enjoy the complimentary cocktails that Kelvin serves after a long day or when I come for a visit on my day off. My daughters come here with me to get their nails done and my cousin has joined me for a refill while I got myself a pedicure. Kelvin is there to host to make sure you are having a nice visit with a cocktail of out choice with or without alcohol, and he always has them beautifully decorated with edible garnishes. It really makes all the difference when needing to come in for a visit to get our nails done and/or enjoy a pedicure. I was looking forward to getting my nails done based on Yelp reviews. Unfortunately I did not have a great experience. It took 2 1/2 hours to get a pedicure and dipped nails. The pedicure was great but the dipped nails turned out bad. They are grainy and the color ended up 5 shades darker than what was shown. While waiting for the pedicure they had my feet in the foot bath which would have been very nice. However my feet say in cold water for 30 minutes before I finally asked if I could take them out since it was taking a while before they could start on my feet. read more

I was in a hurry to get a basic manicure and pedicure during lunch and was happy when they took me in right away and was able to have two different people work on me. I give it stars because of the service, the speed, and cost. Only reason I do not give it 5 stars because I feel like there were not too many color options for nail polish and because I did not see where the instruments they worked with came from (a sealed plastic bag, a container, where?)... that worries me sometimes for sanitation purposes. They are not normally open on Sunday but I guess I got lucky bc they are open today! The employees are very nice and don't speak their language while doing what ever it is that you paid for. I am happy with the services at Orchid. I have been going there for several years. There was a bumpy transition to the new owner, but it has passed and the ladies work well together. It isn't a fancy salon, but the new owner is making improvements. All of the instruments are cleaned properly and they are very particular about getting my pedicure and shellac are well done. Just went this Saturday and had a lip brow wax. The place is under new ownership and it sucks! Worst experience ever! The lady was rough and TORE OFF skin above my lip. She blamed my tenderness on sensitive skin, but I have a patch of raw skin! They took no ownership for her bad work and I am left with a big red patch of raw skin.
