While the staff was super lovely, I'm very disappointed in my nail set. I came in from out of town on Valentines Weekend to get my nails done since I didn't have time to back home. The girl that serviced me said she doesn't usually do longer nails which is fine, however 10 days later they have began to pop off with the simplest movements. I called prior to coming to see if there was a way. The lady indicated there was no way so I came but when arriving, I ended up waiting 20 minutes for a pedicure in full set. Helen literally said nothing to me the entire time she did my nails. Some other girl began my nails and then with no communication Helen took over. She worked on me very quickly and in a rush and was not friendly. The entire time I was getting my nails done they were whispering to one another as if talking about a coworker. It was quite awkward! One of my nails was crooked, my cuticles were nicked on three different fingers, and a holographic powder was added without me even being asked. A set of nails that I thought was going to be $45, when I spoke with them about what I wanted (I pointed it out on the menu) ended up being $60 for the shape. Went in because I wanted bright green nails for halloween season and because I was going on vacation to orlando. The guy who did my nails did them perfectly, in the shape I wanted and didn't rush through it. These nails lasted me A MONTH, and at no point did they start to separate at the edges. These would've lasted even longer had it not been for the fact that I wanted to switch colors. This is my favorite nail place to go to, just because I know these nails will last. this place does a great pedicure but my gel and nails were awful the guy who did them trimmed them which was the right length but them filed them way shorter then I ever wear them, the shape was awful and the tips of my polish were uneven, I told them I didn't like them they told me the polish was too thin which I think they could have told me as soon as they realized it so we could adjust the color to work correctly, after being there over an hour I gave up and took what I got. I went in today for gel manicure. The service was awful. The lady did not paint to the cuticle, the color starts too far from the cuticle. It looks like badly press on nails. They are so affordable and you get so much for your money. I have been in other establishments where they charge up to 45 dollars for the simplest of pedicures. Not here. You have various options that are not only affordable but even make you want to pay for more due to the value increasing exponentially as you do. How great is it to get a hot stone massage and sugar scrub and amazing nails for a shockingly great price. Now, obviously there's some room for improvement. The nail game is strong but it would be great to see a wider range of spa services. If you guys could offer some more options to relax and pamper yourself that would be awesome. And in terms of the vibe, it's chill and clean, but it could be even more relaxed. Adding a few extra touches in terms of decor and ambiance would make the spa experience even more laid-back and enjoyable All in all, Kristine salon spa is a reliable choice for quality beauty services. Nina did the coffin shape right but she cut me 3 times hurts like hell. She said my fingers were small excuses. Doesn't matter what size or shape the clients has anyone that's a nail tech should be able to do their job correctly. I felt really uncomfortable because she was speaking in Vietnamese and talking to other nail tech while filing my nails. $45 for this set just to cut 3 times. This is how my hand looked after the nail polish. Victoria is amazing not only at pedicures but also as a person. She is friendly and always makes me feel comfortable. If I could give her 10 stars I would. The 2 star rating is nothing to do with her and all with the poorly executed shellac manicure. It has only been 8 days since I was at the salon and the nail polish is chipping and lifting off my nails. Got a pedicure. It was a Monday and I called and scheduled an appointment, but it seemed that you could probably do a walk in with minimal wait (maybe). There were a couple of workers who weren't with clients when I came in but I can see them getting busy quickly. The lady (didn't catch her name) that did my pedicure was quick and thorough. Followed a sequence of steps to make sure nothing was missed. Soak, remove old polish, nail trim (if needed/wanted), cuticle trim, callus softener, lotion, hot stone, two layers of color and one clear coat to finish it off. Sat under the drying table for about 5 mins. Was in and out of the salon in about 45 mins, so very efficient! My toes looked really cute and the color pops! Everyone I interacted with was very nice. I just wished I was offered a beverage during my visit. Will come back in a few weeks to get another one! read more

Oh my goodness I'm so glad I found this salon! I recently moved to the Katy area & was in the search for a new nail salon. Kristine's is only about a mile away from me. Everyone here is so nice including the owner. I loved how she engaged with all of the clients, hard to find owners like this nowadays. They work as a team and I really appreciated that! I had a terrible set of acrylics on at the time and wanted them taken off then either dipping powder or shellac. One of the guys there, I believe he might've been the owner too, took a look at my nails and suggested the best choice would be dipping powder since my nails would be weak. I worked with Jasmine for both my mani & pedi. I did a dipping powder mani with a shellac pedi. Both were soooo pretty!! She really took her time with me and made sure everything was perfect. The prices are fair and reasonable for the amount of time & work they put into their mani/pedis. *I know there's always backlash about nail salon employees talking negatively amongst each other about clients but they do not here. I'm half viet but understand it fluently and I also don't look like I am so I stayed quiet majority of the time until the end when the owner & Jasmine asked if I was asian. Super professional! Just so you know all of these good reviews are from the old owners and team. I tried to give the new management a chance. The new owner's customer service isn't the best. The last time I was there she had the person doing my pedicure to get up and wax someone's eyebrows. Yes, in the middle of my pedicure. I was the one with the appointment, and wasn't happy. She apologized once I brought it to her attention, however she didn't when she had Nancy get up. Horrible experience overall. When I get there I showed them a picture of what I want & they are telling its a bad Idea & try to change the designs. Luckily I caught on to the fact they didnt really knew what they were doing so I chose completely different nails. Unfortunately I took my sister as well & she asked for french tips with a high arch - All acrylic. Instead of all acrylic they gave her partial acrylic & shellac. The nail lady ONLY asked her if she wanted that high arch. She never mentioned that she didnt know how to do it with all acrylic. So she continued to do her nails & finished with shellac. When this issue was brought up it was expected for us to walk away unsatisfied. No one attempted to fix the problem & no apology was issued. Overall wouldn't recommend. She's amazing at what she does I even let her decide on the designs I get. Please ask for her if you're wanting a design. I like this place because it's not big and overwhelming like all the new salons out here. They're average priced and don't charge for a bunch of extra crap. She's so patient with me and her opinions are always honest. I'm sure everyone's been to a salon where they are speaking in their language so it almost feels like they're talking about you... but not here. It does get a little packed so if you're in a rush, make sure to make an appointment. They don't make you wait if you have one either.
