I recently had to find a new nail shop; mine is currently temporarily closed . I have been forced to find a new one temporarily, and it has taken me five unsuccessful nail shops to find this one, which is literally in our backyard. My husband and I tried City Nails two months ago and had a great experience. He had a manicure and pedicure (I'm not sure of the tech's name), but she did a great job. His toenails and fingernails were perfectly even ( he's a nail-biter). He said the leg massage was very relaxing; he especially enjoyed the hot stones they used. I also received the same pedicure service: relaxing, calming, and rejuvenating. You can pick the exfoliating scrub you want, and I chose lavender. The leg massage was amazing, soothing, and breathtaking. I also had a full pearl set with buffing (no clear gel polish). Diane gave me the exact look I was looking for; she shaped and buffed to perfection ( in my opinion). I also requested paraffin wax on my hands; that was life! My hands felt so soft, brighter, and younger. I would recommend this at every visit; it's a must-have! They have several colors to choose from. They offer drinks, like water, Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, and Pepsi, which are nice and cold. The towels smell super fresh, not to mention the establishment is very clean. The prices are priced well! First of all it's false advertising... if you are going in for a basic pedicure with shellac they are going to screw u over. From a $30 pedicure plus$15 for shellac by the time you're done and they will not tell you is $52 and up. For a basic pedicure.. the cheapest...they charge you to take off your shellac and then to put it on. Smh freaking ridiculous. So if you wanna spend over $50 then go ahead. Service is fast and they will be sure to turn on that timer to only give u the 5 minutes they put it on for while "so called messaging " over all experience 2. Me and my sister just got our nails done yesterday. I almost cried when I walked out of the salon with this nail set! They cut our cuticles a lot and I even bled two fingers. Before painting the top coat, there were 2 of my fingers that were distorted and lost a lot of powder but when I told her to fix it she said it was even. I was at this salon on Wed. Jan 8th at 4:30 and witnessed a rude customer. Her behavior was condescending from the minute she walked in the door. At one point when Mimi was doing he powder nails, the lady was telling the owner how to do the nails. Then she said "I know it all." Mimi handled this situation pleasantly and professsionaly. I ha e been going there a vouple years and alwsys had good results. read more

Never again!!! 2 customers were finishing up when I got there and I felt like they were rushing to do a refill on my nails when the salon was empty which resulted in getting a pretty deep cut on my finger. Got my cuticles done and shellac on my toes. Looked good when I left. But as I was looking at my toes today, she did a HORRIBLE job. There are patches in the polish and on my pinky toe, the polish is clumoed. And I even tipped $10.00. Waste of time and money. Might be good for other people but not for me. read more

I asked for some special nail work and the staff immediately called Mimi's husband to come in. He arrived in less than 8 minutes. We had not seen each other in awhile and catching up was great. I have found a new nail salon! Ms Mimi did a Wonderful job today! Backstory: my previous nail salon kept getting more inconsistent each time. My nails were thicker each time. I even had a new full set put on, at the suggestion on a tech, to make them thinner and more natural. But to no avail. Today I went to City Nails. I have been going to City Nails for almost 2 years now because it was close to my house. I instantly liked the atmosphere because when you walk in everyone stops what they are doing and greets you (with big smiles on their faces), they offer you water.. ask what you would like done. I always get a shellac manicure and pedicure and each girl who has worked on me has done a wonderful job. They pay great attention to detail, make sure that my needs are met, and are so friendly while doing so. I actually enjoy spending time with them and chit chatting, and sharing some laughs. Going through the whole COVID-19 pandemic, I went in to get my nails done before we all got locked in our homes.. I was telling the owner Mimi how I couldn't find my son's size diapers anywhere in the stores. She immediately said that she had some that he son doesn't use anymore and that she would love to give them to me. I said no, no but she insisted. I got my nails done at City Nails today and I couldn't be more in love! They're so beautiful! I walked in the Salon and was greeted so kindly and was even asked if I wanted a beverage. Christy did my nails. And she was so nice, friendly and she took her time doing my nails. I had walked in for a full set because the Salon I went to prior had ruined my nails and did a poor job. I was a little hesitant to come here for a pedicure but it was a great decision. It's literally down the street from my house so super convenient. It was rather slow for them when I walked in, so even better because I don't have to wait! They didn't have a lot of colors to offer but I knew exactly what I wanted anyway. My nail technician was an older lady name Ana. She was very friendly and courteous. Placed my handbag in its own chair and started to work on my little feet. She did a good job with the cuticles and polish. I was a little nervous because she was a little rough on the buffing but it turned out great. Nails were polished perfectly white and even. My pedicures usually lasts about a month so hopefully this place does the same! not bad for $30 with a 7 min hot stone massage! read more

City Nails is under new management since around March 2017 and it's my go-to nail salon. I drive about 30 mins to come here for my beauty necessities. They're currently running a summer promotion, 20% off manicure + pedicure combination. Take advantage of this promotion because that's a steal! The staff is very friendly. I generally do shellac (gel), but in the photo provided (excuse the shininess, they had just put on cuticle oil), was my first time doing dipping (powder) and I absolutely love it. The color is the lightest nude that they had in semi-shine. They have a variety of nice colors from neutral to bright poppin' colors and with the dipping nails, you can actually choose how shiny or dull you want the end result to be. It holds up to several weeks, nor does it peel. They also do waxing services and I'm not sure what kind of wax they use, but if you have sensitive skin, they're great to go to. Definitely gentle and painless. Check them out! They also take appointments and walk-ins. read more

OMG I love Linda. I have such a hard time finding people that will do my nails the way I want them done, and not the way THEY want to do them. The very first time I walked in here, Linda listened carefully to what I wanted, how I wanted it, and was careful with my delicate skin. The second time I walked in, she remembered me, remembered what my preferences were, and had even set my color aside for me so we didn't have to keep hunting for something I liked. I also had her thread my eyebrows and do my brazilian wax. She was excellent at both and again very gentle and attentive. I cannot recommend her enough. She is such a sweet person and really makes you feel like she's going to take care of you. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they should be a little better about the upkeep on lights and hardware in the place.
