Went here for a pedicure with an out of town colleague close to my office. The inside is beautiful. New fixtures, velvet chairs, new massage chairs. The service is abysmal. They pushed a $55 pedicure that included a massage. My nail tech was so uninterested in her job. She was talking to her colleague, talking and texting on the phone, didn't ask any questions, didn't acknowledge when I told her I had a broken toenail and to just cut it short. The "massage" I paid premium for was her rubbing my shin up and down for 5 minutes. She didn't tell me my pants were dipping in the water, so I left with wet pants. This isn't my usual nail salon and I wouldn't bother coming back! The beautiful interior doesn't make up for shoddy service! It took over an hour for a simple pedicure. DONT WASTE UR MONEY HERE. I came for Mother's Day because it's near by and I spent $165 and my nails look terrible. My mom's arrive was great. Not sure what was wrong with Ms. Bo or Ba but she was very very very unpleasant and veryyyy unpleasant and made me veryyy uncomfortable. I understand having to work on Mother's Day, but that is not my fault. Spending more time on your phone than you are on the service. I'm paying for is ridiculous. Giving me a one-handed massage because you are texting on your WhatsApp is ridiculous. On top of that giving me an attitude when I ask you to fix your mistake that you made on my nails is abysmal. My nails look terrible. I went to the front counter to pay because I got to the point to where she began to literally ignore me . So while I was at the counter, I told them. Some one else did clean them up and for that I am thankful to that person who was actually kind!! But honestly, I've been coming here for years since I live in the area, but this was a terrible experience. I typically tolerate the subpar bar nail polish service y'all provide, but this literally looks terrible and I took it off immediately when I got home. Absolutely horrible experience at this nail salon. What makes a salon great is attention to detail, and this place has none. A woman did my nails and cut them way too short--when I told her, she just said, "No no, it's okay, I'll file them down." Instead, she made them so thick and bulky that they physically hurt. I called the salon, and the manager reassured me that they'd fix it with no problem. But when I went back, I ended up with the same woman--who was rude, dismissive, and clearly upset that I had come back. She acted like I was bothering her and made the experience even worse. She filed my nails down until they bled, didn't bother cleaning the dust or hair off my fingers, and left several cuts on my skin. Yes, she redid the set--but they turned out even worse and still painful. My nails are uneven, and throughout the whole process she complained about how I was wasting her time. This place has unprofessional service with no sense of care. I should've trusted my gut and never gone here. This spot is a GEM! I was in town for the Taylor Swift concert, my friend and I both wanted to get pedis. She lives in HTX and said she's heard great things about Gloss, so we decided to try it out. Parking was so simple, lots of spots and easy to find. We walked in and it was so cute and aesthetic. The bar is awesome and so is the lighting- love the overall vibe. The person working asked us to take a seat while they got our chairs ready for our pedis. We were taken back to the pedi spot- lots of spaces. Would be a good spot to bring a large group. I was given the colors and picked hot pink. I was also given the option of what type of pedi I wanted, and chose the deluxe. The deluxe included a long massage which is my favorite. They have drinks, and I ordered Diet Coke. Alcohol wasn't what I was in the mood for- but they have it. My technician was so kind and friendly. I also felt as if this was really affordable. With tip it was a smidge under $50. Loved it! read more

After coming from my hair appointment, I decided to give this nail shop a try. I entered the establishment asking if I could use the restroom and was met with complete rudeness from the staff. She ignored me, started speaking to someone else in their native language, had more workers come to the front just to tell me they don't have a public restroom. Unbeknownst to them I had intentions on getting serviced however after that behavior I WILL NOT spend my money in an establishment like that. Ran off a new customer simply by being rude when asked to use the restroom. Do better. read more

Nice nail salon the set up is so cute. They serve drinks which is a very new thing for me. I was greeted and seated quickly. I got a pedicure and full set. They start your nails while doing your feet which I love because it cuts down on time. I ordered a margarita which was yummy. The place was crowded but everyone was being taken care of. My nails came out great. They are a bit pricey but the ambience is worth it. This is more so a treat yourself nail shop vs a regular one. Will be back! read more

My friend and I selected this location because it was close to our and since it was New we thought we should try it. We are from out of town and wanted to enjoy our girls trip together. The lady who worked on me was very inappropriate with making comments and when I explained to her about my pain level on her working on me she told me to be a big girl and be quiet. Her and the other girl working on my friend the entire time talk together in their language when we were trying to just relax and enjoy our pedicures together. I'm guessing they went through a whole redo of the business based on the reviews I read before coming here. Whatever the negatives were are not present any more. Now, I only ever get my nails done every 6 months. However, I'm very particular on how I like my pedicures and manicures. I must say that the experience here was one of the BEST I've ever had. I've done the whole nail bar experience and it always feels like a hype that I'm overpaying for and not worth the money. This time though, I'm leaving happy and relaxed. Inconsistent results. 3. Dirty. My last visit, my chair was full of debris. There was trash under my chair (I'll attach a photo). They have a full bar and many drink options for you to sip on while you get your nails done. They play good music and always have someone available to do your nails. I went to this salon today for the first time, and I really wanted to like it...but I feel like the nail tech rushed through my nails. Many were asymmetrical...like each hand looked drastically different. And the colored powder nails that I got were SO thick and clunky!!! Just because I get fake nails doesn't mean that I want them to *look* fake from across the room. I unfortunately didn't have time to dispute the nails, because I had leave before traffic started. So I immediately got in my car and drove to another salon and had them redo my nails completely. These had to be soaked off. What a hassle. Getting nails done 2x in 1 day is a real inconvenience and quite expensive!!! Pro: The one thing I did like about this place was the indoor aesthetic and alcoholic bar (the drinks are not strong though). Btw- I don't have a photo of the nails, cause I got them removed within 30 minutes. Besides I didn't want a photo to remember what they looked like, cause they weren't good at all. The first time I came, I was so impressed! The receptionist girl was so kind and welcoming. My nails looked exactly how I wanted and the woman that did them was so attentive and talented. After my second visit, I was very turned off. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted, and I could tell immediately that the nail tech that was working with me was apprehensive. If this was truly the case, I wish she had spoken up and asked me more questions or let me know that they would be too difficult for her. About an hour later, she was replaced once the other nail techs saw how bad my nails were looking. They forgot the ring finger color too. Perhaps I am partially at fault for not speaking up as soon as I saw the length, but I figured I'd just trust the process. When checking out, I could tell that even the new receptionist did not like the way my nails looked. So many people have told me how much they don't like them! I paid $68 plus a tip and am very disappointed that I did so. In conclusion, I'd give 5 stars for my first experience, however my most recent encounter deserves no more than 1. read more

This is my third time being to this nail salon. I've had two different technicians and both did a beautiful job. The first technician I had asked for a design and I thought she did a beautiful job. These last two times were more solid colors with the third time a chrome look and I absolutely love it. Both the technicians I had were exceptionally capable, I thought the customer service was absolutely fine in my opinion. It's a new place so they may be having new people come on and still getting familiar with things. so there might be some hesitation and being told to please wait a moment. also you can't be afraid to tell them exactly what you want. If you want your nails thinner tell them, if you want them longer, shorter and all the above you have to tell your technician - they can't read your mind. read more

A woman asked if I could wait 20 minutes to which I obliged because I desperately wanted them to be removed. 40 minutes later, no one came to remove or soak off my nails. If the establishment does not remove nails or only removes nails if you're coming in to get a full set, this should have been mentioned. Needless to say I will not be returning due to principle. I am so in love with my nails and the salon, it's so beautiful, relaxing and the staff was so kind. I don't do my nails often so I'm not super familiar with the products and prices. I've had a few bad experiences, but then I was introduced to this place by a friend, and I've now been here 3 times. Upon my first experience to now, my nails have always come out amazing! I've had such a great experience that now my mom has become a customer too. The workers are very welcoming and kind. Myky is the one we always schedule with! She's an amazing, talented, and very sweet nail technician. She works hard and her best whenever my mom and I come in with a new design that we want. I also had another nail technician work on my pedicure and paint my toes. She was very sweet as well and instantly offered a blue color that would match my nails Myky did. The color she picked was perfect and I'm in love with it. Pricing and customer service here is outstanding. And despite the fact it is quite the drive, it's worth it. I will give them this, the positive side to this place is that the inside is gorgeous, it is kept very clean and they are all very nice, overly nice, suspiciously nice even. Asides from the front desk that was a whole different cup of tea. Here's the negative side to it though, I felt very pressured into getting Gel done even after I had already said I just wanted regular polish. After she kept pressing me I decided to go with it and give them a chance because who wouldn't want their nails looking nice for longer. All that effort of pressuring me into getting gel and she didn't even do a good job. My nails were trimmed into a super awkward and uneven shape and the gel is very uneven. Literally all she did was clip the nail straight across file and file it straight across. She didn't file/shape the corners or anything. Then she moved onto my cuticles where she managed to pinch me a few times. In some spots the gel is piled on and in other spots it's very thin, you can literally see where it bulges out it is so uneven. I decided to just do regular polish on my toes, no gel and the pedicure was mediocre... At one point he was more focused on checking his phone. Don't even get me started on the "massage" it was so half assed and awkward I just closed my eyes and wished for it to be over. My toes have dried now and the polish (126 I think it was) on my big toe is literally just peeling off on its own. They were both very nice when I entered but once I was sat in the chair everything just seemed so awkward and rushed. Like they just wanted to get me in and out and couldn't be bothered if the final product was sloppy. They also seemed more concerned with whatever gossip was going on at the front of the salon as they kept leaning around trying to look and listen in, talk about awkward... I was genuinely so dissatisfied that I just wanted to leave as soon as possible and didn't want them touching me anymore, so I paid my bill with no complaints and I of course still tipped but I most definitely will not be returning. The first receptionist was stand-offish and I just genuinely felt like I was being rush on my first time there trying to pick a service. I very politely told her it was my first time there I'm not familiar with their services so I needed to look them over. The second receptionist as I was leaving just seemed to have such an awful attitude, seemingly annoyed and made me feel rushed as I was paying my ticket... Like girllll I'm am just as over this place as you seem to be too. We are new to Katy and I've been looking for a new nail spot closer to home. With that being said after the let down of this place I would much rather keep driving across town to Nails Life Studio where I actually get the bang for my buck. The prices here were such a let down for the overall outcome. I decided to do a "classic" mani & pedi just to try them out and give them a chance. I don't mind paying whatever because as the saying goes you get what you pay for but y'all for $68 total for basic mani & pedi and this outcome it's just down right disappointing. My mother did nails for a living basically all of my childhood and she has taught me the difference between what is good and what is not and that I should speak up for myself. At this place I didn't even bother because I was so upset and I literally felt like there was no hope and no point. Instead I called her crying as soon as I got into my truck and asked if I came over if she could at least remove the gel for me... THAT is how disappointed and dissatisfied I feel about the service I received and just how much I never want to go back. I would rather sit through my mother removing the gel for me and lecturing me about speaking up and how she taught me better than this and telling me how she wishes she could still do nails even if it were just for me (her arthritis doesn't allow her to anymore.) Save yourself the time, disappointment and most of all save your money... The jokes on me though because in the end I didn't bother saying anything and still gave them my money. read more
