Jas-It-Up Nails & Spa I'm not one to normally give a poor review, but here you go. I had a 9:30 appt Thursday for a shellac pedicure. Was greeted nicely by the new owner. Jasmine is no longer the owner However, my nail tech didn't seem to care what my requests or my needs were. I had to continually remind her to trim my nails short and to have no sharp edges. It seemed to fall on deaf ears. I had to continually point at some issues. It appeared she was too busy setting her timer. The interesting thing was there was not another customer in there the whole time I was there. I finally gave up and let her finish the way "she wanted to". After my pinky toe cut into my other toe with the razor edge, I trimmed all this morning. Consider my $$ a donation Suffice to say I have been coming here since it opened and sadly now, I will be looking elsewhere. read more

I like it, but I don't love it. The ladies who did the nails were very kind and patient. I paid $43 for shellac on my natural nails and I found it to be kinda pricy. Some of nails had more glitter than the others which kinda bothered me. However, my nails feel great. May 22, 2025, I went to Jas-it-up for a mani-pedi, I got the dip powder for my fingernails, and Shelac polish for my toe nails. The staff spoke only in their language the majority of the time. The person filling in for management, charge me a total of $155.00. These people are thieves and they took advantage of me, and purposely over charge me. I want to say if you are going to run an establishment, you should hire people, that speaks English. You are here in America, in the United States, it is very disrespectful to your customers to sit in front of them, while working on their nails, and you are talking to your co workers in another language. It is very Rude and Disrespectful and Distasteful. The owner, was out on that particular day. It hurt me, that you are working at a business and you deciding to take advantage of a Customer, while management was out that day. You actually Stole from me. I will never bring my business back to you all again. I have been there a few times throughout the years, but I will never bring my business there again. Remember folks God do not sleep. Found this place by chance. Went in for a car repair nearby and had an hour to kill. This place had good reviews, so figured I'd check it out. Tina did my pedicure and Vicky did my gel manicure. I love coming here to get my nails done ! It's clean , bright , and staff is awesome. I've been coming here almost 2yrs, and haven't been satisfied with any other place but Here ! Jasmine (boss lady) is so sweet and makes sure all her clients are taken care of. My favorite techs: Karen- BEST for manicures/new full sets. Takes her time, does smooth, even application. Since she's the best I would def make an appointment with her. Thao- I always get her for my pedicures for when I do shellac , and gives the BEST back/leg massages for my pedicures. She always asks if I want another coat which I normally do, very mindful of what I want. Only thing is I wish when doing a full set I wish they included doing the cuticles. I always pay an extra $5 , and have to request it before moving forward on the set on my hands. ***Also they have a stamp card ! So you get $ discount once when you fill it up . read more

Not a good experience. This is my third time here in less than a week. Came to get one nail fixed that cracked and I paid to repair it now another nail cracked. I am not building houses so I don't understand why they keep cracking. My dip nails normally last 2 plus weeks. This time I didn't even get a week. This time I spoke to the owner and she said there is nothing she could do. And was very unfriendly. But when I came before she was very friendly and nice. She even told me about her husband and kids. Vicky is the person that did my fist set then I paid her to fix it. Now Lilly is fixing another nail. If another one cracks I will not come back. Not worth my time or money. The white nails are the nails that keep cracking and the black one is the that was fixed. You can clearly see the difference in the nails. The person who did the white nails must have been new or used the wrong product. The person with the the black only dipped my nails twice. For the white she dipped my nails at least 5 times and still not half as thick as the black. read more

I went there on a Friday to get a mani and pedi because I was going out of town for the weekend and by the next day my mani was getting wrinkles and chipping off. I always get my nails done at nail bar of Texas KATY and they usually last me at least a week. The lady that was doing my nails was sweet but took 2 hours to do everything and she cut me a few times trying to remove my old dip powder. Definitely not going back! read more

I came to this salon because it had good reviews on Yelp & I totally depend on Yelp sometimes to find the best place. So me and my sister in law decided to go here. When entering: When entering the nail salon we were greeted by the owner. She is very nice. We decided to look for colors and I am very picky. I felt that we were being rushed because the owner kept coming over and ask if we found a color or if we wanted to sit and see a color. When I sat in my chair, the water was blazing hot. I kid you not, no one checked my water. I'm like " Jesus this is really hot." And they were like " oh no, it is hot." My feet were really red. I am not sure what the nail technician name was but I think her name is Tran. You would see , she have a grumpy face all the time. She was very horrible. Very rough was not gentle and kept cutting my cuticles close to my skin. I even have some blood cuts. I paid for the 3rd level of pedicure. She rush through my massage. Even my sister in law has notice. When she massage my neck, she pulled my shirt across and it was hurting my neck. She is very rough and doesn't care how you feel. It felt that she did not want to be there. The towels were steaming hot and I had kept flinching and she still continue to hold my foot down. At first I thought it was because I had a sense on my right leg to make it feel like that. But it was the same for the left. I told her to match the color of my nail to my feet. My nail color was was pastel pink, she choose a hot pink. So therefore I wasted 37 bucks. Another tail technician I think may be Amy. Who did my nails. She is really sweet and doesn't talk to me. Don't ask questions about my life or anything that's how it should usually be. The one thing that bother me is that when I asked for a long shape nail she made it square. It was suppose to be a bit long and a small end. That is the style going on. She squared it out asking if it was right. I just gave up and said yes. The color I choose from the sample was glitter green. When it was put on, the color came out plain. I asked if there was a way they can put glitter so it can bring it out more. She said sure. Never did she once told me that it cost extra. Needless to say, I was really upset. I end up paying 50 bucks for my nails! I was like what the hell? The max for these nails should be at least 40 bucks. I'm assuming they charge for 3 colors. Which makes no sense. I was so upset. But my mother is a nail technician ( for pedicures only) so I would not dip out because I wouldn't want her customer to leave without paying. I just sucked it up and paid. I even gave a generous tip. Which I think they shouldn't deserve. But vise Versa. The nice lady who worked on my sister in law she wanted to let you know she is very satisfied for working with her and that you did a great job. Also she said that you took a very long time with her which she liked. Needless to say, I'll stick to a smaller nail salon. read more

This was the worst experience at a nail salon I've ever had. The ladies were pushing a nail refill on me when I specifically said I wanted a new set. They convinced me it would be the same while at a cheaper price. I paid the same price as a new set, she did a horrible job and 3 days later both my hands and feet are chipped. I called to speak to the owner and she offered no insight or advice. She was not helpful at all. I would never return to this place again. I'm saying 3 stars because it's pricey. It's a nice clean salon and I was kind of a regular but I've gone there for the last time. My sister and I went for just regular mani/pedis. No acrylics, no dip nails; I did get some little flowers on my 2 ring fingers and both big toes. The bill was $161, so with tip money, it was the better part of $200! Plus, I came home with heels still rough! I had to work on them at home. read more

I am new to this area and found Jas-It-Up on Yelp. I've been 3 times now for both mani & pedi and have been very satisfied each time. The ladies are lovely - very friendly and customer-oriented. The salon is clean and attractive and they include a neck massage with most pedicures---a very nice bonus! Wow is all I can say. Thao's pedicure magic should be taught to every single specialist in the world. I mean it! I suffer from eczema and let me tell you, every two weeks with her will make you forget you have foot eczema. I've been to other nail salons and still have to come home and do more to my feet. This was my favorite nail salon, until I was overcharged I pretty much paid 48$ for a refill!!! Let's start with 25$ add 5$ because of length, now let's add color changing shellac 18$ so what happened to shellac being 5-10$ extra!! But 18? No designs broken nails none of that, very upset by this and I will not return! Found my new nail spot! Came in the late afternoon on a Saturday. They were not packed but still busy. Had to wait maybe 15 minutes. It was so worth it. They did an amazing job and were fast yet efficient. I'm loving my nails and have had many compliments on them. I believe, if I remember correctly, my nail tech was Tammy. I was the last customer for the night and Jasmine elected to take care of me. Her attention to detail, friendliness, and amazing skill easily made this an awesome time. Her staff was equally as friendly and I was very impressed with the beauty of the space and the decor. It smelled amazing, and fresh and was the most beautifully decorated and CLEAN salon I have ever been to. They serve cocktails and wine with your pedicure. I went to this salon for the first time on 01.31.17 for SNS and a pedi. This is my new nail spot Jasmine has great reviews and I was very pleased. She is a few dollars more than most shops but her prices is all inclusive so there isn't an extra charge if you break one or want a different shape like most shops it cost extra to repair or get a new shape...well not here! I would have liked a little more pressure during my massage but the lady who did it was older and polished them so pretty I can't even complain....and to top it off I got a margarita and 5.00 gift certificate for future use. This is a wonderful Nail and Spa location. Cindy did a great job on my nails and Vicky did excellent on my feet. I'm new to Houston and I have been looking for nail salons that I can trust and feel comfortable at. I've more than found that at Jas-it-Up. I had a great experience and so did my 11year old daughter. The quality is top caliber and the environment is welcoming. So this place has a lot of pros and some major cons. I don't usually give bad reviews and I hate doing this but I felt the need to tell other people. Please do not go here for any eyelash extensions. They will ruin your eyelashes. They use cheap synthetic lashes and a ridiculous amount of glue. I even tried to give them a shot by going there for refills until clumps of the lashes and my real lashes came off. My eyelashes are now permanently damage. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and their mani/pedi is excellent. They serve you any cocktail or alcoholic beverage that you want. So all in all go here to get your nails done but don't come here for any eyelash extensions. read more
