When we got to Cider Corps, we unwrapped our sandwiches and they looked perfect. My crispy chicken sandwich was still nice and crispy. I really appreciated how crunchy and meaty the chicken was, plus the flavors from the sauce and pickles were just the right balance. The apple cider vinaigrette on the side salad was lovely. The only thing we didn't love was the Cuban. Actually, to be more specific, it was the mustard because everything else was perfect. Personally, I can't handle horseradish, but the menu labels this as "dijonnaise." This burns like horseradish. Anyway, my partner said that the only thing he'd change was to have less dijonnaise and for it to be more evenly spread out. Consider asking for it on the side, if you're wary. Well first we totally do karate in the garage because we became best friends over the On Draft Sun Up root beer. Everyone here is really friendly and all the food we've had has been delicious I'm a particular fan of the specials, the carrot cake was to die for. Wow! Absolutely amazing, we came here last week after visiting the taproom near by and were happily surprised with how good the food was. We made friends with the guy helping us and talked about tattooed and such, we came a little late so they were closing soon but they accommodated us which we appreciated. Our wait was about 10 minutes, which wasn't too bad. We loved the modern decorations, appreciated the gender neutral restrooms, and were very happy with our orders. I don't recall what my husband got because I was so into my grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese had multiple different cheeses, with perfectly toasted bread. The tomato soup was the best I've ever had, couple tell it was made in house. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and cared for. One of those places that you know the food is worth the price and wait. The name of this place, its location, and the way it is designed all clearly define who they are and what they do. It's a tiny walkup counter right on Main Street in a busy metro downtown district a few steps from the busy light rail destination station. They have a handful of tables indoors and a few more on the sidewalk and parking for a few cars. It defies logic why some reviewers (especially the out-of-townies) expected it to be a fancy sit-down restaurant with white linen table cloths and a maître d′. People, this is a primarily a sandwich shop. Its primary mission is to sell sandwiches to locals on their lunch break for them to "take it away". BTW, it's not ONLY sandwiches, they also have salads, soups and some limited entrée courses. So disregard the bogus complaints that someone got slow table service for a party of ten, or that the "ambience" didn't look like a themed chain restaurant, or that there aren't enough tables. Let's talk reality instead. I've had this place on my radar for a long time but I don't work on Main Street. I had some business to do in the area and took the opportunity to make this my first visit. It was high noon on a busy holiday weekend Friday afternoon, every table was full and there was a line waiting to order. Service: warm, friendly, caring, generous, passionate ... these are the first words that come to mind. The people who work here are genuinely nice. They have a walkup cooler filled with cold bottled water. It's free, you don't even have to buy anything, you don't even have to be a customer! We weren't that hungry and chose to split a Calabrian turkey sandwich, so Worth didn't make much on us yet they gave us a huge bag of free homemade potato chips so we could "try them". By the way, the chips are awesome, you'll never want a salty Lay's again after trying these. Value: The price of the sandwich, in fact all of their diverse but limited selection of sandwiches, is pretty much spot on considering the downtown location. No one who wrote a negative review because they felt the sandwiches are too expensive offered an alternative where they could get a sandwich of this quality for under ten bucks - have they been to places like "Jersey Mikes" lately and got charged up to twenty bucks for one sandwich? Quality: And how was the sandwich you may ask. Well, it was pretty good but I was expecting great. It was bland and dry and lacked any standout kick or zest. True that turkey sandwiches are not in the same league as Cubans or Pastrami's for knockout flavor but still. To be fair, the bread was fresh, the turkey was plentiful (and not Oscar Meyer lunch meat) but it all came to a screeching halt there, to my taste buds all I could taste was turkey and bread. My experience with Calabrian chilies is for them to be spicy, a bit salty, smoky and even fruity. I could taste none of that in my sandwich. They deserve another try from me because I like this place. It's funky and urban without being pretentious or cloying. They are trying to be community caring and supportive of local vendors which makes me want to support them and see them succeed against the fast food chains that some would compare them to. It's important to me that the staff really makes me feel like they care I'm there, and topping the list for me is they are local, independent and not a chain. Had lunch at Worth Takeaway yesterday. A bit disappointed overall. I arrived at noon on a Wednesday and there was one other person eating. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and a soft drink, which came to $12.70. They should understand that $12 is too much for a sandwich. Worth had a nice street side Cafe set up, in addition to the few tables inside. My lunch arrived in 14 minutes. Again, a big number for a lunch, especially when no one else is being served. The sandwich looked promising, with thinly sliced veggies and a Bleu Cheese spread. The ciabatta bread looked good too. One bite changed all that: most of my fillings flew out the other side. The bread had a tough exterior and the slippery fillings didn't have a chance to hold. The breading on the chicken also slid off, making a huge mess. Even the chicken slid out. Taste was okay, but way too heavy on veggies (sliced carrots and cabbage). Not sure if a return visit is in the plan. read more

I was quite unimpressed by this shop. I know it does get a lot of love on Yelp, but my experience doesn't match others. I got the Rueben sandwich and my boyfriend got the crispy chicken we also got the banana pudding (which was TINY - but I will address this later). We walked in and it was decently busy for a Sunday afternoon. You order at the counter and there is a menu that hangs above. While we were in line I was looking at the menu board and nothing was listed other than the name of the sandwich. When I order I like to know exactly what I'm going to get. Once we finally got to the front there are little menus that list the ingredients under the names. However, the second we got to the front they wanted to take my order giving me no time to process and read about any other sandwiches I would have been interested in. This isn't a huge deal breaker but it would be nice to have it listed on the large menu above the counter too. We sat inside initially at two window seats. There were a ton of flys all along the window sill so we opted to sit outside instead. Once we got our food we saw the sandos were big - which of course we liked. The Rueben didn't have quite enough meat for the bread and the meat it did have was very fatty. Now, I know Rueben's are fatty by nature but this was just too much. The flavors were great and I loved the bread! But overall the lack of meat made it lack substance. We found similar to be true for the crispy chicken sandwich. Great flavor but needed far more chicken to balance out the bread to meat ratio. I did like they they spaced out our sandwiches from the banana pudding so it wasn't just sitting there getting warm while we were eating sandos. The man brought them out while we were finishing up. The banana pudding was $5 for a very small portion. Seems like it's more than a dollar per bite. And while it tasted great was not worth nearly $5 in my opinion. read more

Cute little place with friendly workers. I appreciate that they are still being Covid cautious. We ordered the French Dip sandwich, Buffalo dip with chips, and fries to go. We started in on the fries in the car & they were amazing. The chicken dip was just okay. Sadly, we got all the way home before realizing there was no aujus to go with the French Dip.
