Went here on a whim after church on Sunday, and had a great meal! We only waited 20 minutes to be seated, and we were immediately greeted by our very friendly waitress. She was holding a pot of hazelnut coffee, and I was so excited! Hazelnut coffee is my favorite - so you know I had a cup...or 5! The menu is huge, so it took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted. Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, although smothered in cheese or hollandaise, which can make it challenging to find a healthier option. They do offer oats, and a-la-carte options, though. I ordered the Forsythe skillet less cheese with two eggs over easy and a dry English muffin. All said and done, about 500 calories (if this matters you you), and it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the Missad eggs Benedict, which does not look like a typical eggs benny because it's served on toast instead of an English muffin. It tasted really good, but was very heavy with all of meat, hash browns, cheese, sauce, and bread. He couldn't finish it, which is unheard of haha! We would definitely go back, but I think he'd try something on the lighter side. I hate to give this restaurant a mediocre review,while the food is pretty solid (4 star) the environment really brought it down for me. Let's be honest, we all go out to eat for the experience, to have someone else either cook food for us we can't make at home or don't want, and finally to experience something different than our breakfast table. Strike #1 - this place uses very cheap and uncomfortable silverware. This may not be an issue for you, as you might not care what tool you use to carry food from your plate to your stomach, and normally I don't either, but the silverware shouldn't be sub-par to what most people have in their homes. It shows a lack of investment, and care for the dining experience which is a major reason to spend money and go out. Silverware gets rescued anyway so investing in this area should be priority. Let's be honest, the wait was 40 minutes, to then be greeted by dollar store cutlery was kind of disappointing. Strike 2# - the atmosphere is really dingy. Again, 40 minute wait, I was expecting a hip hopping place in Easton to walk inside and really experience or run of the mil diner feel. Again, this is more Gears towards to the owners as their investment in this place would really make a great experience. Then, the carpets look like they are covered in animal hairs. Obviously it's just the fibers we are seeing but throw them out and invest in something that looks more appeasing. Attaching a photo for reference. Not asking for fine dining, but a little more thought and care. -1 forgot to mention, didn't impact the rating, but don't order the cinnamon roll. They grill it, which is a horrible method for transforming a cinnamon roll. It dries it out, and they are designed to be soft and moist not crunchy and dry. Don't ever grill a cinnamon roll if you are ever on master chef or someone other cooking competition as they will slam you for the poor execution. My siblings and I came here for brunch on a Saturday morning around 11am, per a suggestion from my sister who lives in Grand Rapids. My brother and I were visiting from Chicago, where the brunch scene is ~poppin'~, so I was looking forward to a new place in a different town. Wolfgang's did not disappoint. We were able to add our name to the waitlist once we walked in, and were told we'd probably have to wait between 15-45 minutes for a table. We just had to wait inside because they call parties by name, old-school style. There weren't any places to sit and we moved to several different spots because we kept feeling like we were in the way, but we still were excited to eat here. After about a half hour to 45 minutes, we were finally seated. All I really wanted was a cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast, but not one that'd make me feel gross or like I'd eaten too much. When I made that proclamation in my head is when I found the ideal menu item: The vegan burrito. I'm not vegan and love meat, but the description of this burrito sounded divine: "all the vegetables we have," plus guac and salsa. I asked for no salsa because I don't like it and didn't want to waste it. The result of my order? Pure magic. Honestly. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and made me full but not tired. My sister and brother ordered more sweet and fancy items off the menu and both got tired, but not me! I was a ball of energy, filled with the best kinds of food. Our server the entire meal was very sweet as well, and was quick and didn't seem overwhelmed though I'm sure she was insanely busy. She helped with drink and food selection, kept up on refills and checking in, and even offered to-go coffees when we were finished with our meals. The Cafe Wolfgang drink was delicious and we were offered hazelnut coffee refills when our cups got low. I really enjoyed "The Dewey" breakfast burrito, it was so large I had to cut it into two servings. Their prices are extremely reasonable and portion sizes are large enough to bring home leftovers. What a great experience! The wait was worth it. We had a great waiter, who knew just about everything on the menu. The menu was expansive, but I knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered the Victoria Uptown. Super great value, taste, and portion. Not to sweet, because it had coffee poured alk over it, also it was not soggy which I was concered about. We had about a 15 minute wait on a Friday morning around 10:15am. I loved that they had tables blocked off and patrons spread out; although I still don't love eating inside, they did a great job at making you comfortable. I attached pics of the food; massive portions. We felt the food was just ok, nothing too special.
